I wanted to share my story with all of you posters:
It's about the drug problem I had growing up.
As a youngster, I was drug to family reunions and on family vacations. I was drug to the kitchen to do the dishes after dinner or to the laundry room to fold laundry.
My parents drug me to church on day’s thru the week unless it was a race Saturday, Sunday’s and then over to Grandma's for dinner after.
I was drug by my ears when disrespectful to adults anywhere even at the track! Most often to the bathroom sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a naughty word.
I was drug to my room to complete my homework, and drug off the playground if I brought home a bad report card.
Those drugs are still in my veins and they affect my daily behavior, thoughts and beliefs.
They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin; and, if more of our children had this kind of drug problem today, our society might be in better shape.
God bless the parents who drugged us.

JS7 wins the first round, but not the Championship.
I wonder how many rounds we'll get to see all of these guys together?

Exactly Toothperry. He can't win for losing. The amount of shit he gets on this site about how he only won his championships cos no-one else was riding and blah blah blah then they do a poll and he's miles ahead off all except RV?
Just because JS7 crashes doesn't mean he sucks. RV, CR, RD and the rest all fear a night when JS7 is feeling good. And unlike anyone on here, they should know. Everything else is dick talk.
I think it is time for the changing of the guards just as when I flew out to CA to see RC take over for Mc Grath It will happen. I think we will se Mr Barcia take over. Yes it is time! Bam Bam reminds me of Hannah! Most of you young uns would not understand! He thinks like Hannah and can ride like him also!
Would be a pleasant surprise to see "THE OTHER" guys prevail. Don't overloook the OTHER category. It is stacked with previous 250 champs who are capable of a win.
@Welker,, I think there is WAY WAY to much competition to see a "changing of the guards."
barcia parks RV, they both will go down, and JS comes from a 5th place start to win it
Barcia has been known to cry & pout, if he does not win. Hope his aggression & wide bike does not take race leaders out. Well, I guess we can all expect those gnarly T-bone block passes from just about everyone.
Wayyy too much hype on Barcia. He won one of three motos at MEC and all of a sudden he's the new guard? He was out of control on more than a few occasions at MEC.....RV stomped him and everyone else in moto 1. JB wins moto 2 with RV out and RD stuck in 2nd? Then all things being equal...Tomac wins pretty decisively in moto 3...... I think Barcia will do well and add to the excitement, but not a chance he wins the Championship over RV, Reed, JS or Dungey.....maybe in a couple years.
Hard to go against Villopoto, for as we know, he is one fast mofo...
The other Ryan, could have them all cryin, if RD has his KTM a flyin...
Reed could still have the speed, do the deed, on his dual pipe steed..
That James cat, could pull a rabbit out of the hat, his fans would find that phat..
BamBam opened a lot of eyes and could very well surprise, onto the top step arise,
Maybe Trey will have his way, hold them all at bay, at the race next Saturday..
I know it was bad, like last years suprecross season! I do not have a clue who will win, nor do I care, as long as they all come out of round one healthy!! We all want to be treated to a close, competitive, down to the wire season!! We fans deserve that after last years injury ridden series left so many questions unanswered. The one thing I do know: Bring on A1!! All of us are ready for the "Six Pack Attack"!!!!
I don't think you will see the top 5 or 6 guys riding balls out to win this year ( at least in the 1st half of the year). I think it will be more about "survival" than winning the race. Thats what Dungey has been doing, and it seems to be working for him. I look for the other guys to take note of that..
@mxmofo I agree ecept only half of them are gonna play it safe to see if the other half eliminate them selves look for RV,JB and JS to be trying to kill eachother while the rest are gonna let them have at it for the first few rounds.... but we could both be wrong

I believe we might get a surprise from Barcia like McGrath did. He will not win the first 2 but then he will...
If the top 10 stay healthy it will be one of the best years ever.
If Stewart is as comfortable with his Zook as he claims he will take it. Villipoto has sick speed, but not the speed of a non-crashing-comfortable Stewart. Barcia will run up front but will get passed by RV and JS. Just IMHO. I just wish my man Dungey would pull the trigger and quit staying chambered, consistency is cool but I do believe we all like to see on the edge, hair curling SPEED. Hope they all stay healthy and give us a full, edge of the seat 17 round electrifying season!!!

@Shepster.. Stewart claimed he was comfortable and loved the Yamaha when he tested it and agreed to sign with JGR.. He said the bike was amazing..RV has as much speed if not more than Stewart.. I have seen RV whip Stewart on supercross tracks when Stewart didnt crash.. To say RV doesnt have Stewarts speed is crazy..Go back and check lap times from the races, not practice and see for yourself.. RV is as fast as anyoine in the world, probably the fastest.. Barcia will kick tail at some races, but not others, he will have some struggles over 17 weeks on that 450, its a different animal.. Reed will start slow, just my guess, so will Canard.. Cant wait for Saturday..
@therealmofo... That was my opinion as I stated. Everyone says their bike is amazing and that they are comfortable with the bike - that is why I said "if" he is as comfortable as he says he is. RV does have much speed, as you put it, but we will see come A-1. We can all see after reading post after post you don't like Stewart or agree with anyone who says anything positive about him - Stewtards as you have stated. Your immature remarks are not needed in this forum. Please do not ever address me again!!
I'm surprised how many people mention Barcia, but not Canard (other than stupid jokes about his injuries or faith). He may not win Round 1, but he's going to be contender, especially if his starts are there. Yes, he can get hurt, like anyone can, even Dungey, but to expect him to is pretty cynical.

by the way Dungey qualified fastest at MEC cup. RV is fast just like JS7 but they are both inconsistent. 2013 is btw Chad reed and Ryan Dungey. RV2 is gonna get into it w Barcia. RV2 was already talkin smack about Barcia at MEC so cant wait. bam bam ait scared of nobody. new blood hungry man
@Roads to Witchata---- good thought!!! It's a shame some of these younger gen. kids wasn't "drugged up" when growing up . It might have changed some outlooks,values and respect!!! What was we talking about anyway?? I'm a K-Dub fan--but after that I look for RV and Barcia with a little bit of JS7,Reed,and maybe a little bit of Dungey-Canard throwed in!!!!

Barcia will not put the BamBam on the big boys.He only does that to privateers.I would love to see him put the BamBam on RV.Just think of J-Law.

Who wants it more, knowing they can't win the crown at the first round...
1. Stewart, he has the most to prove off the bat, after all he was the fastest man on the planet.
2. Barcia, finally honda factory 51 is here, as destined.
3. Villopoto, dudes the man, knows it, proved it - just out to maintain the rep, no need to push at A1.
4. Dungey, dudes legit, still needs to unleash 'lightning in a bottle' if he's to make claim.
5. Reed, wise and knowing, wants to... can do... won't do... but he's got it covered come round 17.
6. Canard, out to bank the result. Far from happy, he's a racer, but thankful to be out there. He's got a round win in him in '13 but not A1.

I think Dungey will start becoming more aggressive at the start of the races. Thats his next step in his progression and he knows it. Maybe not so much at A1, but by Phoenix I'm expecting to see it. I think Roger is pushing him to attack more on the opening laps.
