Mike Hartwig, who was a factory Husky rider, riding for my dad was one of the originals of motocross racing's Michigan Mafia Hadley, Michigan, just east of Flint
Oh Todd, Todd, Todd, I am so glad you mentioned about memory loss because I did cable tie your grips to your bike in Texas as well as gluing on the grips, you didn't want to use wet gloves like I suggested and after the race you told me your gloves got so wet they were just spinning on the grips. Your friend Mark
Greg Bowen and Beckington brothers and Todd's own brother, Chad, were all fast Michigan guys in the years of '87-88 when Todd was on the national scene.
While it could be a surprise to, I remember MXA talking about Todd in the GPs in early 1990.
