GoPro/Racer X Film Festival Winner Announced
Friday, December 21, 2012 | 1:50 PMAfter months of filming, editing, judging and voting, we have our 2012 GoPro/Racer X Amateur Film Festival champion. Congratulations to Dayton Daft, of Boulder, Colorado, for taking the top spot on the podium. His winning entry secured enough votes in the finals to get the grand prize:
- A $1,000 budget from Racer X to make an exclusive video for Racer X Online
- The Ultimate GoPro MX Package
- A Unit prize package valued at $750
- A Racer X t-shirt
- A one-year digital subscription to Racer X Illustrated
The runners-up finished in the following order, and will also receive prize packages from GoPro, Unit, and Racer X.

The winner is not at the Ranch, see the rules. maybe they raced there but it was not filmed there. Go pro liars!
Create and upload to YouTube an edit shot on GoPro of your race moment of awesomeness. Your video must meet the following criteria to be considered a valid entry:
•Entry must be shot 100% on a GoPro camera.
•Entrant must be a registered participant of the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch.
•Entry must be of entrants own race footage obtained at Loretta Lynn Ranch.
•Entry must be up loaded to YouTube and tagged “GoProLorettaLynn2012.”
• Entry must contain “GoPro” in the title of the video.
•Entry must be posted by August 20th, 2012.

No worries taxpayer. They never did announce a winner from the LL video contest. Guess they didnt want to pay up! There was a clear winner that followed all the rules and won, I guess there wasnt enough marketing caused by it to justify paying up!
