What about the uk ?
Europe can watch both motos live but we have to wait for the middle of the night to watch the second motos.....come on Coombs! Lets get the same package for the US.
All good except...not sure we have Fuel TV available here in Sweden....and I would like to watch all 4 motor for sure...but better than nothing.
hope for U it is a mistake not showing UK
I think I speak for every U.K. motocross fan in saying that's bullshit.
I think I speak for every U.S. motocross fan in saying that's bullshit.
What the hell? In Europe all 4 motos are being televised live - what gives? Why can't we have it all live? It is OUR national series afterall. I am glad for them, but if they can see it live we should be able to as well. The MXGPs are not televised AT ALL here (that I have access to) and I would enjoy being able to see them. But no. As crooked and greedy as Gisippy Longo is, atleast his series has good coverage.
@MX40 @pizzacorner . AGREE!!!!
I wonder, did the motocross racing world coin the phrase SNAFU?
I am fine with the T.V schedule, although I do have to wait till it is uploaded on youtube to watch the second motos. But I can definitely see how this will bother the U.S motocross fans. DC, you do a great job behind the scenes and I appreciate all of it, and while I am not sure if this was your call or not, but if it was, you may need to rethink it.
As soon as I saw the headline, I knew there'd be comments like this. First, pizzacorner hates EVERYTHING, so who gives a f&*$. Secondly, if it were only as easy as "they have it; why don't we?" TV coverage requires money and sponsorship. America is the entertainment capital of the world. TV time is at a premium. I'm sure if Davey could have lined this thing up live in the U.S. on a channel we all get and could watch, he would have. But go ahead and keep thinking our sport is on equal terms with NFL/NBA/MLB/NASCAR etc.... And just keep hating over your fantasies of how TV coverage works....
Hey Pizzacorner, you do realize there are US Active Duty military members serving in Europe right? You sound like such a moron when you post things like that. Nothing is more frustrating than having to follow the races via Twitter at 4am, so whoever set this up, thank you.
@pizzacorner: Come on man, we all know on here about how you suffer from an hyperactive animus gland but, you can be more specific than that. How can we have a good ole, "Rednck Linching Party" if you don't name names.
sef154 - you are clearly an expert that works in the entertainment industry. Also, it appears you work for MXSports and RacerX (is their even a difference b/t the 2). I am so sorry that I expressed my personal opinion and that it was contrary to your own. What was I thinking?
You are an idiot if you truely believe we don't realize that coverage costs money and that MX is not on the same level as the stick and ball sports. I know all that - but I don't have to like it, and by voicing it the decision makers will know they need to keep trying to make it better.
Well shit. I have to move to Europe to watch the AMA nationals now.. Laugh? Laugh.
Hey it sucks for sure and yes I know NBC Sports is paying and they are deciding when to air the second motos. Where I really fault DC/MX Sports is taking the live second moto audio feed away from us. It cost practically nothing and it was better than following live timing and scoring/twitter. Come on MX Sports please give us the feed back!
Waaaaah Waaaaah. Not happy.
Damn! That 250 moto was SICK!!!! God I love the outdoors!!!!
does anyone know who make the deals with getting the motos on live TV?????
Sport 1 is not showing it here in Germany
Bottom line is DC doesn't want to spend the money to buy a real TV package in the US. He's pocketing it.
As a multi-time champ recently tweeted about the lack of decent coverage in the US... "It's all about the dollar."
You have freedom, we have second motos. Sounds fair to me :)
hahahaahaha.....Dean? Is that you?
haha. That is kinda silly that we don't have it live here in the US. But if you want to watch it live, you can always go to the races! Easier said than done.
so if your from australia or new zealand we have no way of watching 2nd motos?? because i found the motos on youtube but they had been taken off already by the tv network!! this is shit its the only way i could watch em!!
Sooo.. one thing I don't get is why they spend an hour or two replaying Pala from last year on Fuel, but we can't manage to get second Moto until the middle of the night on NBC (which ran over due to some cycling race.. good thing I was up @ 1am CST to extend the recording for the rest of the family).
How about New Zealand? We get nothing, no replays, no delayed broadcast. Come on DC add NZ to the web list.
