REALLY, RacerX now we have to watch a commercial before the commercials.WTF! I guess I should shut up and be glad RacerX has found some more revenue so we can have this great free site.
If you are going to work as an announcer then you should help these guys with advice on their speaking skills, UH, You Know, Umm, and and. The questions should be laid out for the riders, not all over the place, or possibly RacerX should hire me and improve this whole process.
you know, he said you know like umm, you know, 60, you know, times. It was umm, you know, only like 2, ummm, mins of, you know, talking so that is like, you know, saying "you know" every, ummm, 2sec, you know?
What? No Georgia? What a let down.
villopoto can't simply state that he didn't have the speed to pass james stewart and chad reed last week. simple as that...
oooohh the track mushroomed, oh it was really hard. lame dude, the fact of the matter is he didn't have an answer for CR22 and JS7, end of.
Pretty simple clowns. The heading is call 'A2 Ryan Villipoto'. Therefore it's a video of him and if you don't like him don't click on the link! Pretty simple, even for you guys.
He clearly was able to catch them, tried to pass but couldn't. Therefore he was as fast as them but not so much faster that he could safely get by! Maybe he should just be more like Stewart and blame his bike or his team. ' we have more work to do on the bike'.
You are absolutely right, zimwe....RV is gonna get the same crap James gets when he talks about a race he didn't win. Everybody says James can never just say, "i got beat", well it appears RV has the same problem!! Um, it would help to get a start RV?? I'm afraid you did get a start my man, you were right there with JS off the start, but all we hear is a list of reasons why you didn't get past James and Chad when the real reason is you just couldn't that night!! Enough with the excuses!! You got beat!! I'm cool with what these guys say, it's just that criticism thats good for one rider sure as hell is equally as good for another!!
Nice try Ripdown......did you really just say if you don't like RV then don't click on the story?? Wow, you should take some of your own advice man, you can't seem to stay off of the Stewart story pages, i can't believe you just said that. Oh, and there was no "catching up to james and chad" lasgt weekend...RV was right there the whole time...he just stayed there!! Pretty simple really you RVtard!!
Actually he rounded the first turn more than a few places behind Stewart and caught up. Then of course the heat race but you've probably already erased yet from your wee brain.
This just in: in an effort to appease all his haters and to improve his interview skills RV is no longer going to compete in the outdoor races. This will free him up to gain valuable camera experience with his new reality show ' Poto's World '. This will be a show in which he can show off all his wealth, his lack of commitment to racing, and his blatant disregard for authority. That's right. The premiere episode will feature RV and a friend racing down the freeway with police lights on the dash pulling over innocent civilians. There will be no repercussions for his actions though and he will gain even more valuable camera experience having his mug- shot taken! Not to mention interrogation/interview time.
This show will be produced for self-promotion purposes in an effort to gain respect and to validate himself as the 'other fastest man on the planet'. Watch your local listings for more info!
PS. He clearly stated that when James got around Reed it became 'time to go'. He started pushing and started making mistakes! How often do your guys show enough humility and admit to making mistakes?
"You know I had really good speed and I caught them, I just couldn't get around them".......I thought RV made it pretty clear in the first minute he just couldn't get it done with his lines? I don't know, I didn't hear him blaming his bike or anyone but himself? Is explaining his race an excuse these days? I think the JS fans are just looking for anything they possibly can now that JS has won a moto again and they've been getting picked on for the past couple years for making BS excuses.
Retardcross. Be careful. Common sense is frowned upon here.
@ REF-man.......Not to start a fight but RV doesn't carry himself like JS so doesn't fuel the fire from most fans either, he didn't really make any excuses he said he couldn't get by them. An excuse is "I need to work on the bike and I should have won tonight" when you get 6th after hitting the deck and not even having the fastest times.
Yeah, Retardcross it's like what do you want from the guy? No, he didn't come out and say he got beat, but I thought he made it pretty clear that he did. Saying that he made mistakes when he thought it was ''time to go'' and I thought mistakes were riders fault? Like you said at least he didn't say he should of won and get like 6th. Also JS has come into like all the rounds with some excuse sick or what ever, I haven't heard excuses from any other riders?
RV, Dude,,, you got beat!!
@ ridenbutter......he acknowledged that pretty clearly along with making mistakes when it was go time. Did you watch the video or are you digging for something that isn't there at all just for fun?
Some of these idiots must not have even listened to the interview before making their comments. RV said more than once he could not get around James or Chad.
Some of these idiots must not have even listened to the interview before making their comments. RV said more than once he could not get around James or Chad.
I mean would you like him to say "I got beat"? He said he couldnt get around and he made mistakes, how else would you like him to say it?
I do know, RV.
Looks to me like RV pulls the trigger based on long term risk - reward
The Risk: Take a chance on throwing it it away for two points (difference between second and third) and get one point or worse
The Reward: Settle for now and get 20.

js past reed he felt fast but not as fast as the fastest man on the planet
Ok, retardcross, please define "carry himself" would you?? I'm so sick of people saying they don't like the way James "carries" himself....if you inherently don't like the guy you are going to see something different in the way he "carries" himself, but otherwise..i don't get it. Dude still has the longest autograph lines at the races......argue with the fans!! @ripdown, man you really have a huge problem with JS don't you?? HAHAHAH, i think it is funny that you work so damn hard to defend RV and knock James down....don't you get tired?? HAHA
its rediculous that Stewart fans take their anger, accumulated over the year from comments bashing stewart, out on Villopoto as if he was the one making arrogant remarks.
How can you confirm all these "excuses" that James supposedly makes from behind a computer screen??? Yes the comp has given js a run for his $ in recent years but speaking on something without ABSOLUTE proof is ignorant . He joined a new team & hadn't raced in 11 months unlike REED, RD, & RV. He even stated himself it takes him time to warm up every new season, he's never came out in full swing at the beginning of each season. Yall ignorant comments make me laugh because it's mostly based off of him being black. If the same rider was white it'd be a completely different response guaranteed.
you just had to pull the race card didnt you?
Ref Man. Go get some cop lights and pull some people over and see how it works put for you! He represents everything motocross is not !
This was an interview with RV yet the Stewtards have taken over again! You guys are a big part of the reason I hate him.
Eat-my-ROOst Before you label everyone a racist my favorite athlete for quite some time is Tiger Woods. It is possible to dislike a black person without being racist.
RV you got moto'd by JS7... #truthprevails
@Ripdown-what a typical spin doctor you are. That's was the biggest excuse session from a rider I have ever heard. Face it, he wasn't the best rider that night! RV was obviously a little embarrassed and he did not own his 3rd place finish. Simple. Has JS7 done that before. Yes he has. That fact of the matter is, people would respect him more if he simply said "I got beat. JS7 and CR22 were the better riders tonight" RV didn't do that. It's funny how you get so defensive after a little RV bashing and you immediately redirect everyone's attention to JS7's past blunders. That's what teenagers do when they don't have enough evidence or arguable facts to support their side. Just admit it. That was a major excuse session that RV tried to snow us with. Do I like RV? Yes I do. He's a beast! But, looking at that interview objectively, he definitely was avoiding having to say he got beat. It's all about taking personable responsibility. Have other riders failed to take personal responsibility? Yes they have, JS7 included. But, RV is the focus on this one. Don't shine the spot light on other people's past failures just to cover up RV's current failure to man up!
@SpeedWheelie Am I lying tho??? And yes I had to take it there because it's sickening how many point out the most minute issues by overshawdowing his natural talent. But it's cool cause all this hate means he must be doing something right...Right??? Everyone's discussing on who's not admitting to getting beat, let's see someone admit that most hate js simply due to the simple fact that he's black!! And @Ripdown I could see not diskliking JS but you "hate" him??? What validates you to hate him, do you know him on personal level? Your response is a pure example of what I said in my last comment "ignorant." I'll never say I hate or even dislike a person unless I get to know them or have had the chance on a personal level. Secondly it's 2012 you speaking on his cop incident proves how weak you are. Argumentive and violent people are weaaaak!!! It takes real strength to be forgiving and to move on...He represents everything motocross is and should be, by pushing the sport to all new levels. Let me remind you "Scrubbing" (yano that move you see reed, rv, canard, dungey & every other rider) has become the standard in the sport from young to mature thanks to JS..and lastly that's cool T. Woods is your favorite athlete & all but if you "re-read" my last comment I said "MOST" not "All" are racist so I suggest you do ya research & get ya facts straight & pump ya brakes!!!!
@chanlube THANK YOU!!!! Well said my man
No prob Roost! C'mon folks. What happened to personal responibility? This new generation doesn't have any good core values like honesty, integrity, or respect! Whatever happened to giving the winning team a handshake and saying "Good job"? So sick and tired of this "Me, me, me" excuse generation that can't handle a constructive critique! I think all of the riders are awesome and I'd love to hang out with any one of them! Its ok to call it like it is, but stop the unreasonable rider bashing already!
Chainlube. You're obviously a mental midget or you didn't read any of the previous posts?
He said when Stewart passed Reed he sensed that it was 'Go Time'- and then he made some mistakes- isn't that like saying that he got beat? He admitted it was him didnt he?
I just deleted my whole post as I realized some of the stupidity here is just dominating. It's like listening to religious zealots argue with atheists at this point. I especially love the guy saying that was the most excuse laden 2 minutes from a rider ever. With comments like these it shows the sport is getting closer to mainstream each week, as the commentary gets dumber and dumber. I listen to sports talk radio just to hear the absolute tards discuss their inane thoughts on their beloved team, it is hilarious. Soon we'll have drunk morons rooting for Dungey attacking drunk guys rooting for RV (or vice versa) in the parking lot after the races (not so hilarious). Just like the big sports, welcome to the big time.
On another note, you're in everyone's heads when fans are so thrilled that their guy beat you "straight up". I suppose what he should have said is that he feels like retiring since he only got 3rd and is clearly all washed up? I also love people declaring 12th or 13th through the first turn is a good start. Youtube it, press pause towards the end of the turn and count the heads on the screen in front of RV at the white line. I hope he doesn't get too many of those good starts from here out. Dungey was 2 guys behind him through the first set of whoops. Check it. But the spin is good start because he got up to 5th by lap 3? Spin away muchachos.
As for this EAT MY ROOST guy: James was an overwhelming favorite for about 4 years when he came up and I'm pretty sure his race hasn't changed since then.
I think RV is just looking at the big picture.. easily had the speed.. he just couldnt get around them.. plain and simple.. who cares that he got beat.. whoop de doo.. We all seen what his capabilities are when he really gets out front.. not trying to start arguements.. just saying an opinion
RV did not lose last sat, he got third. He rounded the first corner in 12th the first lap in 8th and by lap 6 had caught JS who rounded the firct corner in 5th. RV clearly caught JS and CR and then showed them a wheel several times and made some mistakes and slowed his laptimes down. I know because I watched the race three times and checked the time charts. Great ride RV, JS and CR, but unless ive lost my marbles wasn't this about RV ???
@Ripdown-
Mental midget? You got me on that one. Dumb Arssssse. Yes, I did read the previous post and my point is that as soon as someone calls RV on the carpet for making excuses, you have to go and point out the past blunders of other riders. Yes, RV said he made some mistakes, however, that interview was laced with excuses and it made the overall "tone" of the interview seem like one BIG excuse. If JS7, CR22, RD5, or any other rider had the same behavior, I would call them on the carpet too. The fans are simply looking for "I got beat tonight by some really great riders." When a racer says something similar to that, it takes the wind out of the sails of all the bashers. RV didn't do that. Yes, we are all smart enough to understand that RV may have been "looking at the big picture" and decided to salvage points and be consistent rather than risk the entire season by crashing. But if that was the case, then he should have just said it that way. The whole undertone of the interview was an excuse. Just admit it. Like I said before. I think RV is a beast. But respect a person more when they show their honor by giving credit where credit is due and taking personal responsibility for their actions. I know, I know....RV said he made some mistakes. I'm not arguing that point. Nevertheless, his statements leaned toward the excuse side. That's it. So, put down the cool-aid, quit playing Mario Kart on your Wii, and learn how to look at an issue from an objective standpoint! Bunch of maroons!
I call bullshit RV said it like it was and made NO excuses and there was no undertone of excuse. RV made a statement again just now by winning. JS made the same statement he's been making for the last 3 years by wrecking hard in his heat when he was in NO pressure to win. The guy is SO tallanted but won't use the wisdom of the other three and until he does he will end up 4th (where he is)
