Asterisk Introduces the UltraCell™ Knee Protection System
Monday, October 24, 2011 | 12:00 PMLake Forest, CA - Asterisk is pleased to announce the introduction of the UltraCell™ Knee Protection System. The UltraCell™ is built on 10+ years of time-tested and proven designs of the original Cell® Knee Protection System. Those original concepts have been refined, improved, and entirely reengineered to create the UltraCell™. The UltraCell™ is, as its predecessor, completely customizable to the leg while remaining extremely rigid.
Asterisk is also proud to announce a brand partnership with Boa® Technology. The award-winning Boa® Closure System is, in our opinion, simply the best system available today. Boa® Technology has a ten-year, proven track record in a variety of action sports and other industries. With their simple, yet powerfully effective method of closure, it was a natural fit to use the Boa® reels and closure components on our Dual-Independent Securement System. Securing the UltraCell™ to the leg has never been easier.
The features and benefits are too many to list, but can be found at www.asterisk.com.
The UltraCell™ is distributed exclusively through WPS and can be purchased through an Asterisk authorized dealership, as well as online directly at www.asterisk.com.

The Ultra Cell™ Knee Protection System is without question the most technologically-advanced Knee Protection System available. Several patented revolutionary design concepts come together in unison to create this System. The A.R.C. Cuff's ability to be totally adjustable for fit, yet remain rigid, along with a superior fastening design in partnership with Boa® Technologies, a natural free-motion, rolling-gliding hinge, tibial plateau-capturing frame design, brace-to-boot tether attachment, and a full time-full coverage patella cup, sets this knee brace decades ahead of all the rest.

Tell 'em the price, son.
Even when you go to the site they simply have a phone number, do they realy think by NOT telling anyone the price somehow your going to sell more? Dosnt work for me, honestly it makes me NOT want them due to the fact they are so mysterious with the price. Anyway, they look great! Im glad that
The price es $699 the pair... just find a dealer... that BOA closure system is nice...
I've had two different generation sets of Asterisk Cell braces, and both of them weren't as good as I'd hoped. One of the first generation braces snapped at the top of the thigh after about ten rides, the other one broke in the same place after a few more. I bought a second generation set, thinking they had to be better. The second gen braces were more comfortable, but I was disappointed that my right one broke in a similar place on the thigh after a month. I've got a set of Pod MX braces coming in the mail. Sorry Asterisk, but I've already been fooled twice.
