Look for the verified symbol

Looks like chubby arenacross. Again.
So the start chute will not be used except for lap 1? Arenacross series is still alive!
There'll be no comebacks on that track. better get out frount fast. 42 sec lap times...LAME
Oh boy another right handed start, gonna be some trouble there for sure.
feld did not learn a damn thing from the last right hand first turn! lets see if we can get some more racers hurt! WTF????
Arrow you are wastin too much time scrubbin and trowin the back end out...drive the bike forward...look at all the top SX riders...not a whole bunch of scrubbin or whippin anymore...anyone else notice here lately?
who's ready for SLC Arenacross!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Running the track oppisite direction from years past. Very short track, 40sec times???(weather permitting) Weak! Forecast for race day so far is 54 for a high and mostly cloudy. Weve had a very wet and cold spring here in SLC. snow and hail today. Could be another snow race (go KW again). At least the points are tight in both classes, Wiemer is back (almost a hometown rider, Idaho). Still glad I'll be there to see the chaos/carnage up close and in person.
Rooting for 22,32,14, 7, and 100. Or just a good battle all around.
I can't wait for the outdoors to start, get these bikes out of third gear, I am guessing 49 second lap times.....:(
Looks like someone will break 40 seconds. Triple after second corner should be interesting if anyone blows the right handed first corner. Let's hope they change most of the track. Lucky this one's not live on TV.
Park the Boat and Truck outside and give more dirt for the track a-holes. I am lucky I didn't buy tickets for this POS race. One beer race.
I wonder how many riders will over-shoot the first turn ????
its too bad Rio Tinto only holds 20000, it would certainly give more room for a normal track
and why wouldnt they do the start outside the stadium like they were going to do last year, untill they turned it into "whoever can get 10 ft from the gate first gets the holeshot" I guess last year becasue of rain they maybe couldnt but all its done is hail like crazy the last 2 days, hail is safe right?
All Stewy on this one. Two huge rhythms... he get the start= it's over. Oh yeah watch out for Tyler...
Be all Stewy alright, cartwheeling #7 down that first section trying to triple after a bad start.
Look for #7 to be waaay out front at the end of this one! Lap times by JS7 probably 1-1.5 sec faster than anyone else!
May the National's begin so we can see real races
JP
all stewart if the whoops aren't tough. nobody does the rythm sections as fast as him. if he's in the top five after the first turn he will run off and hide.
Man, that track is soooo done-gy. Most definitely not super pumped that I'm gonna drive 6 hours from Boise to watch this weak chit. Im BROver it.
And how bout that little thing before the finish line jump? hopefully the riders can hit it as smoothly as the red arrow hit it.
I just can't wait!! Wish this was live!!!
So, Detroit can't get a race and we have to settle for a 40 sec. race! Come on!!! Get rid of this track and bring back DETROIT!!!! Go RV2
If I was one of the big 4 guys, I would be working on my right-handed first turns all week long, and try to learn from jacksonville. What a time for another one! This is gonna be good stuff!
no doubt gnarly. no doubt for sure gnarly.
looks okay, but isn't this a west coast race??
It's be a fun season, but the 15 to 16 minute finals are going to hurt this sport in the long run as fans decide to stay home instead of paying for tickets where the mains last less than a run to the toilet and back.
They should move that boat.
Reed must have designed this track....the last "right-handed first turn" race is the one that bit RV and JS (and others) and put Skippy right back in the title hunt!!
I'm kidding of course....he said he hated it too, even though he did benefit from it!! Chance of snow saturday night!!!
Yea I think you guys are right, they could go under the 40 second mark this week. That will give Feld more time on the CBS telecast to do their product placement, PP-Cross, thing between the short or nonexistent highlights of the Supercross Heats.
The stadium seating capacity is 45017? It may seem like an Arenacross instead of a "Supercross", seems a bit small. "A one beer race"...lol, good one.
One Beer race,...thats good,....I am a fan of the right handed first turn. It takes some sack to scream it in there with just the front brake,....lap times look low though, and I dont think there is anything there that the 250s cant do. I wish they would make a stop in Giants Stadium,...nice venue
All this talk about the right hand first turn, these are a chunk of the best racers in the world, i'm pretty sure they can make a right hand turn without taking their foot off the bake brake. Just saying.

What the hell is a "bake brake"??
If the results this weekend are 1st JS, 2nd CR, 3rd RD, 5th RV. The points will be tied 3 ways JS, CR & RV on 309 with RD on 306 going to Vegas! With out the whatever leave Reed crap out.
Iffin Stewie iz racin, Stewie bee winnin!
Another right hand turn from the start?
We will just hope that the 4 guys can get out early and not get caught in the mess on that right hand turn...
@ slick,,, the tougher the whoops are, the faster JS will go.. The tougher the track, the faster he is...
RA looks great! He should work on his corner speed as his entrance speed is way off the mark. He got through the whoops perfectly - he's obviously been practicing. Didn't look like he had any issues with the first corner except his exit was a little sketchy - there may have been a toughblock on the track - I couldn't really tell. He got off to a great start despite the bad gate pick - pulled the holeshot no less! Way to stretch out that triple, RA! I peg RA to finish 18th this weekend, barely edging out Alessi and Tedesco.
Only 1 tripple??? WTF???
All you peeps complaining about the right hand turn start...C'mon get over it.They would'nt get hurt if they knew how to ride...Why should it always be left? Spice things up I say. There is a front brake ya know and if used properly will not send you over the bars.
Looks like they designed this track anticipating wet weather. Funny thing is, its now looking like it will be dry on Sat.. Of course this is Utah, if you dont like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change. Especially this time of year.
Supercross tracks are definetly getting boring...Cant wait for the Outdoors, REAL Motocross. Be great if they could do these track maps for the Outdoors...Also, I counted three triples on this track, not one like someone mentioned..
you go arrow!
yeah boooooooooyyyyyyyyy...
Hey, Ezra!
move the boat hope i do not have to say i told you so ask the goat
