The BTOSports.com Racer X Podcast: Seattle
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 | 1:15 PM
After a week off for sun and fun, Ping joins myself and the Weege to talk about the Seattle SX and all that happened there in this week's BTOSports.com Racer X Podcast show. Listen in as we talk about the momentum (and Weege clarifies what momentum is) that James Stewart has, Chad Reed and the house money, Mike Alessi, Cole Seely, Little Hanny and much, much more.

I love these Pod casts. I can't wait for them to be posted every week. Best bar to bar racing coversations ever.
I always listen over at PulpMx…Great Show!
Can this “CR is a privateer” stop already? So he isn’t on a Factory supported team; until TC went down, but CR is not limited in the same way as someone featured in the Privateer Spotlight here on RacerX. It’s unfair that those riders are out shinned in their own category. Privateer’s already face an unfair playing field against the wealthy teams.
Maybe I’m the only one who thinks this.
sniff... sniffle... snort... honk... grunt... sniff... sniffle... snort...
Sounds like a group of manatees sniffing asses. Ever heard of Fisherman's Friend?
Matthes is wrong with his reference "LaRocco's carb and shifter falling off". It was 1992, not 1991. The carb fell out of the boot, but his shifter broke, it didnt fall off.
Correct. Ronny Tischeno slammed into LaRocco, breaking his shifter off so only about 1-1/4th to 1-1/2 inch of it was left. LaRocco couldn't shift at all. The carb was knocked out of the boot too. It was sloppy and humid, and Emig thanked hid dad after the race and broke into tears in his interview after the race. Keith McCarty said he was amazed that Emig recovered from a 50-60 point deficit, to eventually capture the points lead at that race.
Ah, memories of a simpler time.
LaRocco blasted Tischenor off the track in the second moto, and rode his butt off, but it was too little too late.
Chowderhead, you are WRONG.
At steel city his clutch went in the 1st moto, and his carb fell off in the 2nd moto. The next week they went to the season finale, at Budds and Emig went 1-1 in the mudd. Mike broke his shifter after he landed on track markers at the time, which were old car tires.
