I hope they don't take only James advice on this subject of MX vs. ATV Alive. I’m an x motocross racer and I have time to analyze this. He doesn’t! I just hope the game turns out OK.

Oh dear god I cannot wait until May. They had better have fixed the G0d@mn online play this time around. Reflex is a truly awesome game, but playing online is the most aggravating thing I have ever experienced. Give the players back the control of the sessions!!

I thought it looks cool! Ignore the trollers, Im sure most of those guys are from MXOT (A group of retards) or they are MXS fanboys. Im sure this game is going to be awesome and will pwn all other game rainbow has made, No one has made a game to the extent of what RBW has attempted, hopefully online will be better, keepin' my fingers crossed! (im hoping this game is for PC also)

stop bashing an early version of a game that is developed by the ONLY company out there willing to invest time and money into making a videogme centered on motocross. Reflex was awesome, and this one will be even better. Grow up haters.

I dont give a crap what the bikes are called. As long as they have graphics kits who cares? Game looks good but Im with Spotted on the topic of online play. We should be able to join our "friends" regardless of where they are instead of waiting for an invite or by jumping from public room to public room until you find them. Also, fix the motherf'ing lag every time someone joins a room. Nothing pisses me off more then being in a good battle and having my screen freeze for a second while im in a corner because somebody joined the damn room. Now if they could only do something about the asshats that just take you out because they cant beat you.....

other than that it looks pretty good.

I tried all the new mx video games, they seem to be getting worse, not better. the graphics are better and better, and now the tracks change, thats cool, but the bike doesn't look or feel real. it hasn't come very far, from mid 80's 'enduro racer" stand up game. The only game that has ricky carmichael's input, is the ten year old "superfly 2002 ricky carmichael". I have figured out ways guys go fast, just from playing this video game, because it's in there like that. and it has a powerslider button, and a separate pre-load button (instead of having it incorporated into the joystick) mx unleashed is good too, but the buttons are different. like what if i put your front brake on the left, and your clutch on the right, etc. you would have to learn how to ride all over again.

I hope you don't crash all over the place like the the previous games. Huge jumps that you hit the same as the AI yet they land perfect and you crash all the time. I also hope they don't make that fool Stewy god like and unbeatable.

Reflex on Steroids. They build it your way or a pro racers way not what the majority of which actually play and run great races for these Motocross games. New site will be launched when MXvsATV ALIVE is released. CouchRacers.com!

KTM57, that is pretty realistic ! and it sounds like a 2 stroke... MX unleashed has a view like that, called 'helmet cam', but you cant tell whether the front end is high or low, but definitely the most realistic, to feel like you are riding the bike. The 2002 game has 3 views, a super cloose up, a medium shot, and a distant one where you can see a lot more of the track. one of the coolest aspects of these games, is that when you run the tracks backwards, they are even better !
the number one thing nthese game designers need to focus on, is not the way cool graphics, but more on the actual racing. have the riders act like real riders, not like assassins. or maybe have an alessi a grant and and a hansen that you have to especially watch out for. and a mechanic who flashes a pit board at you. and a trophy girl.

COMPLAINERS wrote: 6:25pm February 24, 2011

To all of you *****in' and complaining about how this game looks like crap and is going to suck you need to know that this game was actually in production before Reflex yet a lot of people likes/liked Reflex so just think about it. If Reflex was good this game is going to be awesome. Also if you didn't know there's also an FIM game coming out called FIM World Motocross Championship coming out. Not much info on that game yet but it will feature real bikes, real tracks and even the motocross of nations race so if you don't like the mx vs atv series atleast there's a new company stepping up in the gaming world to cater to our gaming needs. Now sure how good or bad it's going to be but atleast we're all going to have the option to play something else then MX vs ATV Alive. Alive comes out in May and the FIM game comes out in June/July. And if both end up sucking just STFU and go ride your bike. Nothing beats the real thing!

question? have you seen the bikes on the MXVSATV.com web site in the garage? the (BLAZE) and the (TAKASHI)??? looks like it came off ebay straight from china (not a compliment) . whay cant they make real appering bikes again like they did in reflex?

Profile Picture
zach wrote: 3:01pm April 16, 2011

I would be happy if they made it just like MX Unleashed but with the updated graphics and a supercross track editor. All of their games since then have gone downhill. This game looks "real" on a superficial level but the physics are about as advanced as super mario kart. Seriously, mario kart is a better game than this. Thankfully, though, the maker of the tracks for Reflex and Alive is also a MXS fanboy and plays/creates MXS tracks in his spare time. Reflex and Alive is just to pay the bills.

MX Simulator = the only game worth playing
