Remember these bikes well....
A "poster" and stickers? LOL! I wouldn't WASTE the bandwidth for a poster and stickers!
I had this exact same rm125 in ;78. I remember dirr bike did a article of the 10 best bikes (about 10 years later) and this one was on the list.
I picked it up on fri nite, all sparkly clean, but it was forecast for heavy rain. I made a custom mud gaurd out of cardboard, taped to front fender, and clear contact paper over the plastic tank and side panels. portland mich, the muddiest race i ever did. the soup was 18 inches deep. The bike was cosmetically destroyed 3 days after i bought it,but it was a great bike.
Oh, i had so much fun on that bike. Thanks for posting.
I love the extra sticker on the rear fender! For all of you who didn't notice , go back and read it.
Thanks freeloader. I missed that. Great sticker. Hey Greg marino, do everyone a favour and don't waste bandwidth on your comments either.
How in the hell do I get some of those time machine stickers?!?!?!?! Cool bike too.
A "poster" and stickers? LOL! I wouldn't WASTE the bandwidth for a poster and stickers!
And even then.....they dont send you jack. I know, they used mine and never sent anything!
Sweet! When you walk by your bike do you stop, look at that thing and get a big Ol' smile every time? I know I would. :)
Friend of mine bought one of these brand new and us younger kids would try to hang on to rear fender while he roosted the crap out of us. We were 10yrs old mind you. The sweet smell of the Bel-Ray exhaust was worth the price of the bruises and laughs we had.
Definitely one of the best MXer's I ever raced. I don't remember the fork gators but I do remember I got a killer deal. 800 bucks! What a great bike.
my dad had one of the these, I remeber it seeming so loud and fast...I was like 5 years old...haha, Love it!!!
I had one when i was a top pro, they run great with an aftermarket powerband installed!
What a great restoration!
I can honestly say to this day there hasn’t been anything I ever wanted more than I wanted this bike back when I was about 14. Had the Suzuki pamphlets hanging all over my walls in my room and would just stare at them for what seemed like hours. I could never afford one myself but luckily my best friend did have one and let me ride it almost as much as he did…. Thanks Chuck, those were some of the best times of my life!
My first MX bike as well. Coming off an old on/off Kawasaki 100, this think was like a rocket ship!!! I wish I still had mine, great job on the restoration!!
This bike is amazing!! The sticker is funny! I have seen the bike personally and rode it, it was absolutely awesome!! Koodos to the guy who restored it!
