The second round of the 2013 GNCC series marked the first win for Kailub Russell in Washington, GA. Sunday's Maxxis General GNCC was all about another three hour battle between Kailub and his teammate Charlie Mullins who was edged out by less than a couple seconds! Kailub definitely didn't make it easy on himself after going down in the first corner and starting from the back of the XC1 pack. Heading into the third round at Steele Creek Campground in Morganton, NC- the KTM teammates are tied up in points and will make for an intense season of racing. Check out the Motosport.com helmet cam as Kailub fights his way to first place!Share this video:

Best helmet cam. Amazing how he threads the needle wide open between those small trees. Also amazing is his ability to care more about the helmet cam being clear than his own vision. Wide open in the trees wiping the lens. Must have some tear off system? Just awesome talent.
3 hrs of WFO All those punks that talk shit man up and try to do what they do ! LOL !!!
Thats what i was wondering, ive never seen a gopro tear off. I would love to try that
Smith or Oakley roll off system. Scott makes one also. THEY ROCK!
OH YEAH!!!!!! AND THAT'S HOW YOU GET IT DONE!!!!!
that's what supercross needs...trees!!!
Wow that was worth watching - yep going through the trees finding alternate lines is crazy! They should use these guys to make a James Bond chase scene.
Was I think only one who flinched and jerked my shoulders to the left or right of my keyboard? Makes me wonder how I ever survived hauling ass through the trees on a clapped out DT1 as a kid.
awesome that is flat crazy!
so hard and so much fun...loved this stuff.....needs some nasty rocky downhills...great footage....medium dust ...good rider ...the guy hauls.... on the start though that Yamaha looked like it was shot from a cannon.....
dang that was awesome!!!!1
Awesome. Too bad we didn't get to see the Mullins pass and finish.
Now that is fuggin impressive! I have ridden many times with top level woods guys and for the first mile or two I could stay with them I was able to learn a lot. However, I often found myself going as hard and as fast as I could, using way more energy that these GNCC guys do, and pausing long enough while riding to ask "HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY EVEN SEE THAT MUCH LESS DO THAT??????" And by the time I finished asking myself that question, they were gone and out of sight.
All of you motoheads out there should really take any opportunity to ride with a serious woods guy. It is an entirely different discipline and will give you mad respect for what they do.
