Not every rider can be a champion, all you can do is ride to your potential each time out. Andrew Short is a great example of that..he gives his best effort each time out..and that is all he can do...Shorty may never carry the biggest trophy home, but he has had a career most riders would envy...He carries himself with class and is a great spokesman for the sport....Helmets off and a BIG Thumbs up to Shorty...Job well done sir!!
Short is a stud. Would like to see him closer to the top; but, not too much room at the top of the pile. Hope he can get a podium or two.
The best video I have seen in a long time.
Thanks to Shorty for explaining his perspective. I can see where a person like Larry Brooks would be the wrong person to have in Andrew's ear. Larry was ready to throw down to get Andrew to break through to the next level.
I have more respect for Short than ever because he appreciates every opportunity.
Just think what the likes of a JLaw or Hanny could do in the sport with Short's attitude and grasp on reality. Good vid.
The Video edit was awesome and it put into good perspective just what the riders at this level see and what kind of concentration is needed to execute 20 laps.
My arm pump after lap 4 or 5 simply does not cut it!
Rock on Shorty! Truly one of the good guys!
Great role model. We need more guys like Short in this sport!
Where's this track at? That's some sweet property. I don't recall Shorty's home track in Texas being hilly.
Good vid.
It's Michael LaPaglia's
EPIC Video RacerX, seriously the best one in a looong time. Go Shorty, the SRAC's finest son. Who in old school Colorado lore didn't used to ride at Mark Shuffle? That place was pretty fun.
