Kyle Chisholm Injury Update
Wednesday, March 6, 2013 | 9:30 AM
Mega-bummer for Kyle Chisholm, who had just caught a break by getting a JGR/Toyota Yamaha ride but is now going to be out for awhile after his big crash early in the St. Louis main.
Chisholm has been visiting doctors this week to get the best info on his sore ankles, leg and knee. He broke a bone above his ankle in his left leg, but did not break his right ankle. He also had an MRI done to see if there is other damage to the right ankle. His right knee is tweaked, too, and he's waiting for MRI results there.
We will keep you posted as we learn more. Get well soon, Chizz!

Well that's good news. Could of been a lot worse. He'll be riding before you know it.
Knarly get off!!! ....came down on both legs... I was thinking another RV St Louis tragedy with possibly 2 broken legs first time seeing it...WOW!!!.... He'll be ready for the Nationals if the knee isnt too tweaked...
What a drag! Heal up Kyle and hope to see you back racing soon!
Mega bummer for sure! Kyle was on it! Qualified good. Here is to quick recovery!
I hope JGR keeps him on a team. Would be a nice move on their side!
Considering the alternatives from that brutal crash, this is better news. Here's to a speedy recovery Kyle! Hope to see you killing it in the nationals this summer!
He got needlessly taken out
Get well my friend..You are a good kid! see you on the nationals
josh grant syndrome...
Hey Kyle, if you make it to the Seattle SX come by the vintage guys and say high, remember hanging with you a few years back riding for JGR your back was jacked, hang in there Chiz!
Hey, RacerX, this better be spot on or Brittany Chiz will be up y'alls ass again ;D hahaha
I'm a huge Chizz fan, he is one of the nicest and hard working riders of all time. I sure hope that Goerke made a mistake and didn't cross jump him on purpose! I reakky hope Chizz heals up quick and gets back on a good team soon. Chizz has always been a hard working and drama free rider that I feel deserves to be on a top team. I wish him a speedy recovery and can't wait for himm to get back out there!!
Chisholm was out practicing at Milestone MX today. Seemed like he was alright, but wasn't riding full length moto's along with Ken Roczen.
