Anaheim Morning Report
Saturday, February 2, 2013 | 4:20 PMPerfect day for racing here at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, it's just slightly overcast with temps in the 70s. Also, the pressure and hype has died way down since the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season started here a month ago--we're now into the long slog of the season, as opposed to the crazy nerves at the opener.
Not too much to report so far. The track looks pretty basic. There are two whoop sections, but one is located right after a basic double, so the riders can approach it with plenty of speed and get up on the top. The second is actually downhill, with a single-to-table above it, and the whoops then running downhill after that. In the untimed sessions, the only major difference we've seen is James Stewart jumping over a table top that everyone else is landing on. But it's early in the day, and we expect others will soon figure that out. Beyond that, it could come down to who can handle the slick track conditions best.
More to come!

On this February 2nd, 2013,
the One Hundred and Twenty Seventh Annual Trek of the
Punxsutawney Groundhog Club at Gobbler’s Knob….
Punxsutawney Phil, the King of the Groundhogs,
Seer of Seers, Prognosticator of Prognosticators,
Weather Prophet without Peer,
was awakened from his borrow at 7:28 am
with a tap of the President’s cane.
Phil and President Deeley conversed in Groundhogese
and Phil directed him to the chosen Prognostication scroll.
The President tapped the chosen scroll and
directed Phil’s Prediction be proclaimed:
My new Knob entrance is a sight to behold
Like my faithful followers, strong and bold
And so ye faithful,
there is no shadow to see
An early Spring for you and me.
Already better coverage than last weekend, thanks Racerx!
Ned.........Ned Reyerson?
@yzchris how do you figure? Didn't they do a morning report last week too?
@BD25 LOL !
Kiniry throwin a fit on a dump off !! LOL !
Disappointing tuning in to the live stream of practice to see Alessi, Kiniry, Chisolm, and Albertson getting most of the attention. You've got like seven star riders out there that the people want to see. Nobody really cares about the guys who are hoping they might crack the top ten.
@ warrior462 LOL !! Better than watching Ralph Shaheen LOL! Go fucuk yourself with a dildo !! DILDO
For F#&k sake can the devil voice dude for the SX ads. Even David Baily mentioned it sounded ridiculous, I mean who talks like??? and whats the point, I dive for the Mute every time....
Go Dungey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like reed has some more knee issues !!!
The morning report is that Stewart was jumping over a table top? Seriously?
Punxsutawney Phil . ..lol, i couldn't have said it better!! that really cheered up my stressful day!! I like the riders who struggle without a big factory team....I think its good to hear whats going on with them....There are 20 racers on the line and i already know about the big names!!! Tell me something i don't know...
I happen to like Kiniry he raced my district so it was nice to hear about him. They are all stars that's why they are there. I didn't hear or see warrior462 out there. Oh wait that's because he was on his computer wishing he had talent.
