Ryan Dungey has been lurking in the depths with consistency keeping himself well within striking distance of being able to make a move for the points lead. Tonight he put himself on the podium with a 3rd place finish.

Lets hope the Locomotive is back on track, can keep building momentum, as he showed good speed tonight...Finding some starts will be key going forward..Good Luck RD!!
It was good to see Dungey make all those passes
GO DUNGEY
Qualifying ain't racing, don't look too deep into that, ask James.
Go RD!
LCB24 Dungey's fastest lap came in the heat race as he chased Millsaps...54.86 it was put down under racing conditions..Ryan 5 never had a clear track during the main to see if he could duplicate it before the track broke down....Villopoto had his on the 2nd lap of the main at 54.99..maybe some day he can get a start and see if he can hang with the champ..be fun to watch...
I have a question for some of you MX addicts like myself. What if RD were on a Kawi and RV was on a KTM, Would things be different?
RV looks so much more aggressive than RD. I scream at the TV when I see RD behind a rider for lap after lap. RV will blitz and then put in on auto pilot. I know they each have their own riding style, but man it's frustrating.
I have always thought the same thing about RD.He isnt aggressive enough when he needs to be.And,he isnt even aggressive much at all with other fast guys.(RV,reed,JS)Sorry, but he really has done most of his winning when other heavys are out! I know it sucks to say that. But,it is the truth.
FirstOrDirt : THANK YOU! And, yes. Huge difference. Remember what Kawi did for RV when RD was getting ready to take control of the outdoor season in 2011? They gave him a 2012 bike! You never hear of the problems Dungey has has with Suzuki and KTM within the Kawi camp.
Overskil: Duh...never heard that stupid crap before. You must be a newbie. You'll change your mind when RV plants it in the next few races...
RedBull is the 12th leading cause of abdominal cancer
#5 is by no means the fastest guy.. but.. he is a very smart rider.. this is a marathon not a single race..if the whole championship was all on one race he would prob be outside the top five in this years 450 heavy hitters..but after 16 races he will prob be in the to three. #5s style has always been following another rider until he gets tired or makes a mistake then he pounces.. but that's his style.. and it has brought him along ways and plus he a very polite and respectful person if you ever get a chance to meet him.
comon he had it no problem podium finish..who did he pass ?not rv cr tc davi jake weimer stewy he always makes good use of others mistakes..
Hey ... what has changed? I can't view any of these post race video's. I could see all the pre-race ones (and all of the ones from the previous weeks races) ... but not these. Is it my computer? ....... or did something change in how Racer-X puts them on their site? The change happened some time after 5:00PM Saturday January 26th.
RD5 is the best rider out there just has to get into his groove keeps getting into crashes that arent even his fault with a first place in A3 you could tell that he is getting back into what he was doing in 450 Motocross when he won and back to the Dungey we saw last year before and after the broken collarbone
