MB1/Hyper X A2 Race Report
The MB1 Motorsports, Hyper X Racewear race team had another good night in Anaheim for Round 3 of the Monster Energy Supercross. Both riders had crashes but Weston Peick ended up 13th in the main event. Kyle Partridge missed the main by 1 spot finishing 3rd in the LCQ.
Weston Peick finished 8th in heat 2 to transfer directly into the main. Weston had a great main going working his way up to 8th and holding steady until he lost the front end in the landing of the finish line with only 3 laps to go. Weston was able to remount and finish 13th in the main. Weston currently sits in 15th place for the series.
Kyle Partridge had a solid heat race working his way into a transfer position but was taken out by the 51 bike. Kyle remounted and finished 14th in Heat 2. Kyle had a great LCQ but finished 3rd behind Milsaps and Barcia missing the main by 1 spot. This week we head to Oakland for Round 4 where we anticipate both riders having solid rides and making into the main event.
