Nick Paluzzi Injury Update
Tuesday, January 15, 2013 | 11:50 AM
We have just received a statement from Rockwell/FirePoliceMX on the status of Nick Paluzzi, who was injured Saturday night in Phoenix.
Team Rockwell/FirePoliceMX rider Nick Paluzzi crashed in the first 250SX heat race Saturday evening in Phoenix after running in 11th position. Paluzzi suffered an injury to his neck and was taken to the hospital where he has stayed since the injury occurred. Initial reports are that he has suffered a fractured C-7 vertebra, but that it was not displaced which is good news.
Nick posted from his Twitter that he is feeling better. He had some more MRI's taken yesterday and is hopeful that he will be released from the hospital soon.
As of now, it is uncertain how long the injury will sideline him. The team has no current plans to pick up a fill-in rider for this week's round in Anaheim and wishes Nick a speedy recovery.

Feel better lil Swap! Come back stronger! Keep your head up!
Thanks for the update Chase/Racer X -- I was wondering how he was doing. He was on the ground a long time.
Hang in there brother....
Or as Erin Bates calls him, Nick Paluzzio. Good news. Hope he has a speedy recovery
Get well soon .. Nice kid !!
Good luck, Nick
I'm a big fan of the way he handles himself on and off the track. You are a very talented and marketable kid that I think could be a top 5 guy with the right team.
Hopefully you can use this as a motivator and comeback stronger and better than
ever.

1 word bro LEATT
Crap!!! Get well soon Nick. Sad to hear about the injury.
@d503
There is a reason why these top pros aren't wearing the LEATT. I noticed that Tomac and Villo and the top 10 don't wear them. I know that amateur kid in Florida who broke his neck and passed away had one on. There is no real testing for them. Glad to hear he only fractured C7.
@blue 445 dude people die wearing a helmet, does that mean u dont wear one or they dont work? leatt works just like a helmet helps in certain situations nothing is full proof but the more protection I think the better off you are
