Racer X there are alot of mistakes on the brand of bikes these guys are riding. Just from what I have read on Racer X, I'm not trying to call you guys out.
Go Ricky D!
Looks like barcia is full factory Taco minibike
Star Play 3 Life: The pre-entry lists are provided by the AMA.
geez that coast is strong...
I hoped to see Roczen get his first SX Title - I think he cant beat Tomac tho :/
Well we'll see^^
After intense study and number crunching, I have figured Yamaha to win zero races this year.
I thought Baggett broke his wrist at the Monster Cup. How in the heck is he gonna be ready. And why the heck did JDR KTM put their entire lites team on the west coast. Jeese if guys like Anderson just switched to the east coast, theyd go from being a top 5 threat to being a title contender. This coast is way harder!
Who is Hansen riding for?
What about Mooky riding a Honda???
Cue the Carly Simon music boys.. Anticipation...is making me wait..but the wait is almost over...The most awaited A1 in years is right around the corner! The names, on the list above, are waking up each morning, minds focused, palms sweating and the butterflys building, as January 5 nears...Next week at this time, the simi,s will be lined up in the pits and all will be in readiness, for what we fans hope is the Best Damn Supercross season ever!!!
Hell yeah Blake Baggett is riding a HONDA at A1!
Anybody know whether Stroupe will be racing?
@ Star Playa 4 Life
Who loves ya !!!!! David Weak thats who! Happy New to you and your family.
Hope that 2013 is a great year for you !
Just curious....why does Zach Osborne get to run 338, didn't he score points last year in 250sx, which counted this year toward his final number?
Cody Woodworth representing the great state of Alaska. Lets go Cody!!
muhamed from what I understand its becauseZach raced under an FIM license rather than an AMA license last year...
Hmm, Josh Hill on a Honda CRF250? I'm thinking no.
@muhamed at least it gives the J-Law fans someone to cheer for! And when Zack gets on J-Law's level and wins a championship, 338 supporters will unite with love.
Akira Narita still racing here?? Cool.
Dietrich on a 250f??!! Sad he never able to run the numbers he earned. I really hope he does some 450 races outdoors.
Paluzzi has no #??
Where's Travis Bannister #662? I guess Tomac and Shorty are the only Colorado connection for sx.
that coast WTF....
tomac, baggett, roczen, anderson, osbourne, rattray, seely.
that pretty much leaves only musquin and bogle on the other coast as potential title winners (sorry if I'm missing someone).
Its understandable for factory ktm to put one of their guys east and one west, but jdr for example a whole team onthe waaay tougher coast why?!
Thanks Jesus and BD....wouldn't they give him a random number? I thought the days of guys running, asking for, or picking 3 digit numbers, unless grandfathered like Alessi, were over, and over a few years ago. You can't tell me 338 is just a random # the AMA gave him. I know it's trivial and minuscule, but it just kinds shows the joke that things are if rules can't be followed or things waved just because your name or the team you ride for or whatever reason they conclude. If I'm wrong, sorry and I apologize to whoever / whatever allowed him to run 338, but I've yet to see or hear any reason why, other than its because he had a fim, not AMA license. And I'm not trashing Zach, I like the kid and want him to do well think its great for him he's running 338, I'm just confused about how the AMA overseas, rules, decides, or follows the rules they make and how they apply them equally to everyone.
They enter the whole team on the pre-entry list, but not all of them race that coast. It is just a precaution, in case one of their riders get injured in the next 7-8 days. Then they can substitute another teammate, and the injured rider can prepare for the East coast series.
We've been over this many times. You knuckleheads gotta pay attention in class.
muhamed The AMA only assigns the numbers 99 down, if you show up to race and do not have an assigned number, you can use any number you want, as long as it is not already spoken for. When he earns AMA points, with his AMA license he will receive a new number next year just like any other racer. Hope this helps clear up your question, he is not getting preferential treatment, just running a 3 digit number he likes
Stroups workin at Chipoltle in Charlotte NC. chasin the lil booty chickes around !
Chowderhead
we'res Musquin Bogle Wilson then?
Tap-out and Friese on the same track with tv cameras and witnesses!
Thank you to whoever made this happen.
chowderhead
What are you talking about? Do you have any idea what you just said?
If the WHOLE team was listed, where is Wilson, Justin Hill, DD (injured), Wharton, Izzi, Bogle, Hahn, Bell, Musquin, J Martin? All of these guys have teammates on this list but aren't listed. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything but when people make comments like that they should at least be sure of what they're saying.
Eric and Crusty, obviously you two insolent youth are correct.
80-90 riders are going to ride the West 250SX, while less than a dozen will be on the line for the East 250SX.
Can't argue with your awesome logic. You two probably graduated from MIT with honors.
out of over eighty 250 riders listed only 6 are on yamahas...does anyone know if yamaha hsa a factory team.?
canadianmxfan Star and Vali are two of the factory backed teams just as JGR is in the 450 class...I am sure there are others...By the way the list above is full of misinformation.. this coming week a more accurate list will be released
chowderhead,
Let me get this straight, anyone who disagrees with you automatically makes them younger than you?
I'm not sure if your comment is serious, because it doesn't make any sense. "80-90 riders are going to ride the West 250SX, while less than a dozen will be on the line for the East 250SX." Do you honestly think that all those guys are on race teams? Half those guys are west coast locals, so when you read my comment, you expect me to name 70-80 random local east coast riders? Also notice how you avoided answering my question on my last comment. Lastly why would you mention mit in an argument as ridiculous as ours is?
Chowder come back at me all you want I honestly don't have the energy nor do I care to carry this argument on any longer.
BD25,thanks for the info....i did not know that...now i am wondering if star and vali as factory backed teams are as good as the other top teams in this class....beacause they don't get great results...
canadianmxfan I think Eleven10 Mods went to Yamaha this year also...I know the Yamaha 250 is the only bike that is not fuel injected, not being a engine guy, I don't know if that has any effect on their results. To me, it still boils down to money, they do not have the dollars to hire a riders like PC, Geico, KTM, or even the Rockstar energy backed Suzuki teams. I do think you will here more from them this year, I hear, the rookie, Jeremy Martin is looking very fast and will be riding the east coast on a Yamaha along with his bother Alex...Good Luck to both Minnesota boys!!
thanks again BD25! im wondering if yamaha didn't invest so much into fu*k!ng up their 450 with what they did, then they might have money for racing!
if it aint broke don't fix it!!! no fuel injection , not good! everyone else had fuel inj. thats 1 of the problem they face....
YZChris76, we have a few racers out there from the great state of Colorado 246 Mike Henderson, 284 Cody Church, 63 Derek Anderson, and the Meyer Brothers will be racing select rounds also. I am sure there are more but I can't think of all of them right off hand.
Good Luck to all of the Colorado racers lining up this season!!
What happened to Dean Wilson? I thought he was going to be on a 450 for Pro Circuit.
K Roc is ready for some dirt slinging I hope everyone rides safe and there is good racing
