FUNCHAL (Portugal) - Great news for the North American fans as a special 30-minute TV show of the 2012 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations will be aired for four times through the upcoming Holidays on CBS Sports Network.
Starting with two airings, right at the peak of Christmas, on December 25th (at 10.30PM EST/7.30PM PST) and 26th (7.00AM EST/4AM PST) and followed by another two broadcastings on December 29th (6.00PM EST/3.00PM PST) and 30th (9.00AM EST/6.00AM PST) the US and Canadian motocross enthusiasts will have the chance to re-experience the adrenaline-filled moments of an unforgettable 66th running of the ‘Olympics of Motocross’.
The epic 2012 edition of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, held in Lommel, Belgium on September 30th, delivered all and even more than it anticipated. With a stunning performance for Team Germany that brought home the Chamberlain Trophy as overall winner, with outstanding sand-riding lessons by 6-time FIM World Champion Antonio Cairoli and by 2012 MX2 World Champion Jeffry Herlings and with a dramatic outing for Team USA, the most prestigious motocross race in the world once again provided unmatchable ingredients and excitement.
Looking forward, with building anticipation, to the 2013 edition, to be held at home of the 2012 winners in Teutschenthal, Germany, the upcoming CBS Sports Network’s 30-minute special show will give North American mainstream television viewers a great opportunity to experience pure motocross winter magic and to re-capture the key moments of the latest unforgettable Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.

I thought we were just pretending this race never happened...
LOL 731 i like ur response. Ill watch any form of dirt bikes tho. it sucks we got 3rd but thats still pretty good. its not like we got 4th or 5th!
just what a Dad needs to decompress christmas day...
I heard the lappers were brutal in that race :D
I have no desire to look at that piece of junk, joke of a track again. MxON should be ran on a legit MX track-not a sand pit. I hope we NEVER send our guys to Lommel again!
@RCRDDW,, Sorry, but sand is a part of SX and MX racing,, just like mud is...
They should have had a spoiler alert. They gave away the ending.Maybe if they air it enough times, the US will eventually win.
I am curious to see just how sandy it is. I was part of a club that had a sand track, and the sand went all the way to the next layer of the earth. We dug 30 foot for a well, and it was still nothing but sand. People either loved it or hated it. It's like a whole other skill set compared to a jump-filled, harder pack track.
Wasnt the whole thing already on in the US? I seem to remember watching it....
@mxmofo1 well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lets start calling them earth bikes?
I'm pretty sure the US got 3rd in this race, but we normally win these races every year if im not mistaken.
Would be nice if RacerX posted which networks are airing the 2013 and when? Would be disappointing if some of the SX races went to the NBC or CBS Sports Network since I don't get those channels. At lest we know SpeedTV has about nine of them.
Of course I meant on the previous post "....which networks are airing the 2013 "SX"
RCRDDW: that piece of junk is a race track where there has been a GP every year, so don't blame the track if USA lost it. Real men, like the whole US team, accept the lost. Losers keep on blaming something when they lose.
There has always been sandy races and I still don't understand why there is just Southwick in US
a whole 30 minutes!! what a joke!! the media weirdos put really REALLY STUPID shows on everyday, whoever runs the tv stations is F'd Up in the head!!!
