Amazing talent, incredible focus, intense desire and unshakable faith, these are required ingredients in the making of a champion. All of which are character traits that Trey Canard posses!! Regardless of how his racing career goes from here, we Okies are very proud of the way Trey has handled all the adversity thrown before him. You see,TC is not just a champion on the track, he doing his best to be a champion in life!!

I love Trey's riding style but his is belief in God is gonna get him hurt again and again. Basically what Jimmy was saying was that he can hang it out cause he believes God will protect him... well, God has yet to show he cares about Trey's racing career.

Wow "Jesus", you are the same as most non-believers. It's not enough for YOU to just not believe, you have you try to convince everyone else you're right. It's called faith for a reason, and you don't have to believe it if you don't want too. It's pretty ignorant to think your going to change peoples mind from your brilliant posts on RacerX.

Jesus I can't speak for Trey, but I don't think Trey believes that God is going to protect him from injury, obviously that has not been the case so far. Trey might see his talent, to ride a motorcycle, as a gift from God and that God has a plan for him. Trey's faith in God has him following that path. His faith in God is what has given him the strength of will to fight back and recover from those devastating injures, caused when human make mistakes. Trey's confidence, to go wide open, comes from all the time and hard work he has put in honing his skill, just like all the top pros.....

Jesus go back to Colorado and smoke some Grass you will eventually see that the sky is not falling . “Jesus was saying that you can't have a larger life with restricted attitudes.”

Trey has what it takes.....and a ridiculous fool like the guy who calls himself Jesus on here as a joke should not even be acknowledged...hes an idiot at best with crappy takes and mostly just moronic comebacks ...no real skill on or with a bike i would also bet....Canards beliefs are his business and how he deals with it is also....On a bike he is a bad man and I wish him the best of luck and hopefully an injury free season....41 is BACK.......Jesus ,even the REAL Jesus thinks your a jerk.

To Jesus -

Considering Trey has won a lights supercross and outdoor title, and has how many 450 supercross wins, I'd say the Man above has in fact cared and blessed his career. Do you want to let us all know how you stack up on the track...or off? Trey is better than most of us both on and off the track. Good luck from Kansas Trey!

to the blasphemous piece of garbage who calls himself Jesus:

Trey has clearly been blessed RETARD. He has overcome more in 2 years than you will in your whole life. What about his 2 titles? What about his recovery from injuries? I'd say SOMEONE is watching out for him.

Never mind revival 41......His movie should be called: RESURRECTION #41

Also, youtube : trey canard goon riding. and enjoy

Who cares how fast I am, I've beat a lot of people and lost to a lot of people, just like everyone else here... it's irrelevant to my point, which is that Trey's over confidence in being blessed by God with riding skill is gonna get him hurt again (nobody wants to see that). By contrast, Dungey has a completely different riding style, it'd be interesting to hear his faith perspective on racing. In the end, it's just interesting watching these kid's careers play out and the attitudes they take. Personally I prefer the attitude of a Josh Hill, but no, I can't backflip :D

Maybe some people should post on "atheist x" and not here. God sees all, he just waits. Trey is larger than life both on and off a bike, pure inspiration.

Jesus I will agree with you that Dungey and Trey have different riding styles. Some riders are more aggressive and hang it out more than others. I would disagree with you on the point that Trey is over confident, due to his faith in God. I would venture to say, that to be a professional racer, you have to have absolute confidence in your self and your riding abilities, to be comfortable enough to ride at that level... Canard is human and humans make mistakes, in our work and personal lives then we have to deal with the consequences. Unfortunately when a racer makes a mistake, it can lead to injury. It is a risk all riders and racers assume when we get on the motorcycle....

Nevermind the atheist x, as Trey would want we should help this lost person find the way.

My take on it is either God is allowing adversity for spiritual growth and testing or he has other plans for Trey besides motocross. I say if he has another major injury he should hang it up. Gods plan for your life is not always what we want

dear jesus, (no disrespect but lower case on purpose)
As jb82 just said; It's not expected we understand how God will use Trey. Possibly with all he's been thru in his racing career and keeps coming back fighting has something to do with it. As a big TC41 fan I want nothing but the best for him, and expect much success in his future whatever his future holds.

And jesus as far as "who cares"... Jesus cares, and he cares about and loves you. Don't fight it!

@BE25 It's true we need absolute confidence to ride to our maximum capabilities but it seems to me Trey rides with over confidence and thus over rides the track. I think if Trey backed it down a bit he'd be better off, just as if Dungey picked it up a bit...

@motoMAD724 if God loves, why do his followers hate?
or maybe Canard Christians just ain't as cool as Dungey Christians?

Let me be the first to recite scripture (though I'm sure God didn't intend this for the internet):
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

Jesus You could be right, It is a tough call, we can debate the virtues of both riding styles, but it will come down to the rider..each one has to find his or her own level of Comfort and Confidence ...Nice debating this with you today...enjoy what is left of the day...until next time

jesus: I agree with you that Carnard overrides or doesn't make wise choices way too often and that it what separates RD from him. I think that also plagues RV to a lesser degree. Although I like him ALOT, I've said in the past that I actually think Canard is dangerous to himself and others. I worry more about him crashing people than I do JS7. I would add, however, that his overconfidence and sometimes being out of control has absolutely nothing to do with him thinking God will protect him.
I can't speak for Trey but I'm sure he would tell you that the Bible(and Jesus himself) makes it clear that it "rains on the just and the unjust". Joesph lived many years in slavery and separation from his family after being betrayed by his brothers but after he became the Prince of Egypt he told them, "you meant it for evil but God meant it for good". Translation: God often gets more glory when his children endure hardships or injustice yet continue to look to him and follow him. That's all Trey is doing.
Forgive some of us if we don't represent Jesus Christ like we should because, you are right, he is all about love. In fact GOD IS LOVE. I hope you will give him a chance.

GO Dungey!!!!!!!

Profile Picture
tonewall wrote: 5:30pm December 13, 2012

I have seen Canard LIVE many times and I don't think hes that wild or out of control....he crashes some...so does everybody else...maybe he just breaks easier....EVERYBODY crashes....I always though his style was very smooth......maybe your watching someone else..or just Dungey fans....believing that you were put on this earth to ride a motorcycle is not just confined to Trey...and anyone in the beginner class takes way more chances and puts their life in Gods hands more than Trey...

Profile Picture
villaslowdoh wrote: 11:22am December 14, 2012

I agree with everyone who thinks trey pushing it to hard for his ability to go that many laps that fast. He needs to slow it down just a little, and no Dungey shouldnt pick it up a little if hes not comfortable doing that

Profile Picture
villaslowdoh wrote: 11:30am December 14, 2012

Dungey rides within his limits and will progress slowly but he will get faster and faster at his own pace and not ruin his body and will have more actual race time that will hopefully keep him in it for the long run and become one of the great champions

Profile Picture
RCRDDW wrote: 12:18pm December 15, 2012

villaslowdoh: Exactly. I ride bikes and love racing but I never raced. It seems all these ex racers get their panties in a wad if you suggest a rider needs to back it down. Come on guys! Even the GOAT figured that out the second half of his career. RV had better soon. I like TC a lot but I disagree 100% Tonewall. Trey's early success(beating a better rider like RV to win a lites championship in part by blocking him off the track and in part because RV crashed out a couple time early in the year) has clouded his judgement as too what his,or anybody's, limits are on a motorcycle.
