Supercross tracks today are nothing like they were in the 80's and even 90's. You tube a race in these years if you doubt it. You will laugh at the size of the jumps and the overall slow speeds compared to current times. That huge double that short hits in this video is straight retarded and unnecessary. Thats about the size of old freestyle jumps when freestyle started coming alive. Over the last couple of years we have seen sooo many severe injuries and some ask why. Well it's simple, very simple. The bikes are way more powerfull, the tracks are a lot faster, and the jumps are way way bigger! Straight do or die/trip to the ER with serious to severe injuries if you make a mistake. Wake up industry. If you truely care about our sport and our talented riders you will make a change. These kids and young men are killing themselves to keep up with the evolution you have allowed to get out of control.
909r tell us how you really feel!! LOL
. Everything changes over time. Not always for the better but it is what it is.
I was wondering about that big double it would probably be safer if it was a table top at least if something happens on the ramp you have a bail out. It just seems to be a bit dangerous for a practice track. Also wondering why he's running the same lines lap after lap you can't do that in a race and get through traffic. Just saying.
They replicated a track from the 80's-90's? just a few years ago and the riders did nothing but complain!Anyone have info on this?I hit my head too many times to remember
Damn those doubles are huge!!!
Yeah following same line every lap. This is what a 10 -15 place pace looks like No scrubbing, no blasting whoops, just riding around.
Your an idiot AGMAN- If you recall he won a supercross last season
I agree with AGMAN, Reed goes faster over those whoops backwards. Andrew is a mean rider but this year there is to many in the top five and he's not one.
That double is just a big table... with the middle cut out.
c'mon panzys these guys are pros, and hes barley blipping the throttle on that fo-fiddy to get over that.
Hey wrench, who was left racing when he won. I get it a win is a win, but show me a healthy group and tell me what place he gets...10-15 is my guess.
Is it me or does short look really slow/sluggish in this clip?
