that step down is gnarly
Anyone know what Decotis is doing next year?
He will be busy pounding Bud Lights in The Loser, oops sorry, I meant The Marshville, after FC drops him. Having realized that this kid is the worst investment that FC has made in quite some time, they will probably offer him a box of T-shirts and a Home Depot gift card. That should provide some seed money for his new career as a NESC cherry picker. Then he can hang out with all his LOCAL HERO buddies all the time and do big jumps in the same old worn out sand pit. Everybody knows that is the best kind of training and riding to do after two major injuries. Way to go Jimmy.
Wow some harsh words about Decotis! Do you even know what is going on with him? Just the fact he is back on the bike and ridding at Robbie's place is good news for him. I would love to see you be able to handle Marshall's place. What do you have against NESC? A lot of pro riders and Motocross legends have raced in that series over the years including Justin Barcia, John Dowd and Doug Henry. There is some serious talent coming out of New England and NESC is one of the largest race series that we have here. Sounds like someone is a bit jealous of Jimmy. He will be back as long as he stays healthy from what I hear. Show some respect he has had injury after injury.
The NESC is a tough place to win!! Yes Henry, Dowd, Barcia, JoJo, Big John, Waddington, Barton, Billy D, Meanen, the list goes on. and don't forget ME too!!
What about one of our best "Cherry Pickers" Tony Lorusso? I love the fact that a guy who can earn points at nationals, can ALSO stay home, have a family, race and make a few bucks. Not everyone needs to risk it all for a shot at glory. The guys at pointy end of our sport make some dollars but everyone else struggles. Any time you have national caliber riders to race against at home you lift your whole org.
I will say the window is small to earn factory dollars and the local scene will always be there.
