I like these man. Grab another on off craigs list. I never raced a 500,..but seems like maybe another gear up. I remember Alan king, putting, and totally destroying everyone in Michigan on one. 500 that is.
That looks like a good track for Team USA to have practiced on.

Man, Hold the trorottle wide open then kick start it, when it goes dog on you and won't start - Robert 1998 CR500R alive and kicking...
Somebody told me take one ove the vent hoses on the carb and blow into it.They say it will start with 1or2 kicks everytime.
My '91 KX500 I had kicked 1st or 2nd kick even after sitting for a few months.
IMO 500's are THE mans bike.
