Unfortunately my CBS Sports channel will not be showing the race on DirecTV.
Verizon says it will air at 10pm on Sunday for 30 mins? WTH??
oh wait there is an encore at 1:30am on Monday and it runs 90 minutes. Yesssssssssssss

So if I buy the live event at MX-Life.tv, can I aaccess it anytime I want as opposed to 3am?
socalxr, I bought the MX-LIFE.tv event as I want to watch it live (even though it's in the early AM hours). They told me in email that my purchase of the program included replays of the event. I can't confirm it to be true, but that is what the mail said.
I understood it to include replays also, but I am going to make a nice pot of coffee and a big breakfast while watching the boys go to work. 4am is not that stinkin' early and it sure beats a half hour of CBS.
Claxton, you are reading my mind brother! I'm often up in the early AM hours headed off fishing so this is no big deal for me. :-)
I am also gonna watch the qualifing races Saturday during the AM hours on MX-LIFE!
I thought I read speed was showing this also. Was I dreaming? I am sure RacerX would not leave that one off this list.
I have Dish and I have CBS Sports Channel, but it's not showing up on the date of the race?
Hey pooptooth, If you are east coast you will see it Oct 1 at 1am or west coast Sept 30 at 10PM, yes both wonderful times and you get to see lots of commercials, BSing, and condensed motos. I Gladly paid the 20 bucks for both days, after all that is cheaper then going to the movies and I will enjoy it much more.
Why CBS even bothered doing this is beyond me all the regular networks plain suck.
As I read these comments, it seems the question most asked is, "What worries Endoman38?" Well, what worries me is the 90 minute show will be as crappy as that video put out by Duke Video of the 2010 des Nations. What a piece of crap that was. Hello...there's a race you could cover! But I will watch it, and it turns out to be like that Duke Video piece of crap, I'm heading to the nearest golf course and have my own MXdN.
I got the right channel- but its terracross then football. Cable sucks too.
Anyone know what the deal is with MXoN on MX-Life.TV? If you purchase access from the site it's $20 US but if you download the iPad Digotel Live + app you can get live access for $5.99 US? I assumed that if I purchased through the MX-Life.TV that I'd also have access through the app but $6 vs $20 is huge.
MX-Life.tv must be sniffing paint chips if they think I'm going to pay $20 JUST to watch the MXDN.
Somehow I watched it last year through some site that lets users re-broadcast back through them things they are watching. Sounds sketchy, but actually worked good. Commentary was in french, but you could follow it.
Anybody know what that was??

I mean the video quality won't be HD, but hey, free sounds damn good to me. I don't know about you, but I'm not paying $20 just to watch one race, and I don't really care to watch Euro MX much.
ElisinoreRacer, the site that aired it free last year was, "JustinTV". I looked on their site last week to see if I could find anything about MXoN but found nothing.
$20 is a cheap night (actually 2-nights) of entertainment in my book so I bought the MX-LIFE. I've noticed since I purchased the MXoN program that I now have free access to the full programs of all the MXoN races past (except '11) and some other older GP stuff etc. Been cool the last couple days to watch Carmichael and company cleaning house in races past!
Only about 7-hours until the Saturday programming (Qualifiers, etc.) starts! :-)
I have this figured out. We all meet at Claxton's for coffee, breakfast, and MXoN! He pays for everything, and we have it made! Thanks old buddy! See all you guys there. And don't be late.
Dugney no.6 so far in qualifying race.... He sucks.
RD got 6th, 57 sec behind Carioli. lost his gogels somehow, I got a late start watching it so missed most of theMX1 Qualifying, Nagl 2nd, Desall 3rd, Bobrysheu 4th, Palin 5th
Carioli best lap was 1:49:3 RD's best 1:53:3 Carioli even crashed and still smoked the race!!

Ollie you wish to suck as much as RD, Carioli is a beast in the sand and so is Herlings, it is a good thing they are not from the same country. I believe RD will do much better tomorow with gogles on, that sand is like a sandblaster. Good luck to BB and JB in their races top 5 would be good. GO USA

Having watched the cbssports network a couple days ago. I flip over to it this morning to see if it's still there. IT'S NOW CALLED THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHANNEL !!! WTH ! It better revert back to cbssports network by Sunday or I'm cnanging my potato gun into a fricking rocket launcher !

I don't think the the overall fastest lap time is worth looking at as every rider is going slower every lap due to the track changing. Bagget did have the fastest lap time in the majority of the final laps. However, If there was ever a year you were going to bet against the yanks, this would be it.
Barcia Holeshots, But Herlings passes him on lap 5, good battle for a lap then on lap 8 JB goes off track and gets stuck, back ito 11th now up to 8th

"Important update on Direct TV"
I called them this morning and they are going to show the race Sunday. Its just that the program guide has not been updated. I confirmed this with the actual program manager. I did not settle for the call center who may or may not know. I got it straight from the horses mouth.
The link that Racer X has posted to watch the race (MX-Life.tv) has as a required field in their sign up form that you agree to accept further communications from them. I really hate that sort of crap. Forcing me to accept spam crap from a site or to have them sell my profile info to God knows who. So signed up with a bogus email addy that was new and it took about 45 seconds to get spammed like a biotch. If those site owners are that desperate for money that they will sell your contact info that quickly then they are going to have a hard time finding may loyal site visitors.
As a guy that works full time online I find that kind of crap really uncalled for. PPC or PPV or PPA is much less invasive to your site visitors.

OLLIE-good thing mx is held on not just sand-like being a mud expert, comes in handy but u can't rely on it for season
so i dont wanna pay for mx-life.tv to watch and my cbs on dish is showing that there is college football on at the time mxon should be on.. I have central time zone and i am wondering where and when i can watch the race
You guys who are worried about the Euro's need to calm down. IT WAS QUALIFYING not the RACE. There is a difference. There is a reason why they strive to come here to the US to race, not the other way around.

It's too late now but I don't recommend the MXlife.tv unless you reeeeeeeeally want to see it. The sign up was rediculous, the video quality was poor and my connection was screaming fast so it wasn't on my end. Lots of frozen screens and loosing audio. You couldn't easily go back and replay part of the race. The camera positioning was really bad compared to speed tv and Fuel. They do a great job. The commentary was ok, especially the interviews with old vets like Chuck Sun. I just wish Fuel, Speed or an American network would pick it up live next year. If they hyped it up like the Monster Cup they would get great ratings. If you want to see it now keep searching the web and I'm sure it will pop up somewhere before too long. Oh yeah, and we lost. That was the worst part.
