Nice video. But I wish they would either skip the music track completely, or at least mix it way, way down.

Nice to see a quick clip of Ken Roczen with this fancy 20 plate near the end.

Decoster was born and raised about 52 miles from the track I would say he has all the folks in place to run the race that the USA needs to win the big prize . Sand is the big question every turn it changes........Barcia is looking more comfortable to me and is real loose..............I hope not so loose that it bites him. I think Dungey will show who is boss.I think Baggett better ride more smoothe or the bike will not hold up,Looks to me he needs to change up his style a little for the sand...... Key is a great start and run the sprint for 20 minutes then manage your corner speed..

Barcia looks real fast and seems to be having fun to boot! I think he's the best chance for a moto win! I've spent a lot of time rooting against him over the last couple of years but I'll be pulling for him this weekend for the very same reasons! Would love to see him mix it up AMA style with Herlings.

oh man, Team USA have more people in Belgium than we have licensed riders in sweden. With all this teams/test days there is no other team that has been more prepared than the US, It´s for sure a failure if they don´t win. DeCoster, Kehoe and Mitch Payton, every rider has FULL factory support.

Funny how some fans trying to tell Baggett how to ride and like RD and Mitch don't know anything themselves. As for smoothness BB is one of the best out there period.

Barcia is looking faaaast....cant wait, but herlings will eat him alive. in the sand only. wish it wasnt the case but you got to see the kid ride the sand for real to believe it. still cant stand him though

I will be surprised if Baggett does not do well this year. One thing I kept noticing about his riding style throughout this MX season was how well he conserves his momentum, usually opting for a high-speed line through turns unless he needed to square off one for a pass. That's one of the keys to sand riding -- well, that, and cat-like reflexes!

Easy does it Bam Bam ...... you are definitely flying but I counted 5 near get offs in a 30 second clip. You can't crash and still win this thing. 90% and on two wheels beats 101% and ambulance flag ... every time.

its funny how sure these guys are of herlings, herlings lost to roczen, roczen on the otherhand manage to squeek out 1 moto win the entire season yes herlings looks blazing fast while riding alone or racing lesser competition but know this when i say the guys herlings is waxing would be lucky to crack the top ten over here you should quit talking while your ahead because youre gonna be very disapointed when your boy herlings just aint quite running away from anyone I think his best shot was against bagget though on his own bike that hes been winning on all year but hey when he doesnt beat barcia yall can blame it on the ktm 350 lol

I predict Herlings crashes. Too much hype around that guy. Are guys will be just as fast in the sand as they are.

MOTOXWANNABE wrote: 7:52pm September 26, 2012

I love how most guys on here are getting all tingly over Roczen, Herlings, Barica, Baggett..."They look so fast!" Can't wait for all the "what ifs" and "yeah buts" when Dungey methodically kicks everyones butt. JB and BB might adhere to the old adage, "slow down to go faster"-or in this case, "slow down so you don't screw up a sure USA win"!!

Go USA!

1st iv got to say cool vid!! dont that track look fun!!!

of the three usa boys...bam bam is looking very quik and loose!!....i think if he dont crash he will do well...but he wont be able to ride that loose round lommel once it cuts up!! it will bite him!!!

herlins carrys his speed big time and dont fall in 2 the track..always on top....and makes it look easy.....real smooth!! herlins dont look fast in sand.....i know the kid has got stupid amount of hype....but just for once....believe the hype..

usa will win though...best overall team.....i just hope 1 of the usa boys trys to run with herlins....id hate to hear that..."i let him go its a team event".....that will suk!!!

All 3 of the them look pretty damn fast to me so I cant wait to see what Herlings/Ciarolli type speed looks like. It must be amazing! They will have to do it for every second of the race because thats how we do it over here.

BARCIA looks the fastest. Oh man I think Barcia might win one if he gets holeshot but man its so mental and it feels like everyone in Euro wants to beat the uSA. I been to MXon and I can tell you its like they want to beat USA and not a race against the world.

Weather forecast Lommel on raceday: sunny and dry 16°C. Team USA looks so professional and organised no wonder they keep winning the Des Nations. They seem to addapt faster then anyone to different countries, tracks, weather...
Lets hope all the favorites stay on two wheels and duke it out for the title.

GO BELGIUM!!!

Weather good on Sunday, but it´s been raining for two days on and off and the forecast is for Friday and Saterday rain. Should be really heavy, big waves, deep deep ruts, and as you yanks say, gnarly. LOL.
Also, sorry to be the bearer of sad tidings, but team Germany were at Grevenbroich yesterday, and all three were turning quicker times than the Americans who trained there on Tuesday, and that on a track that wasn´t done overnight. Rumour has it Schiffer was quickest (it´s his home track BTW), a full 5 seconds better than Bam Bam´s best.
It´s not looking good hill billys, it´s not looking good. LOL.

Heres a link. The pics are great.

Euromike and friends, all this hype makes me think of how ESPN was reporting on Tim Tebow's amazing performance in Jets minicamp this summer against the Jets practice squad. What a joke! I recall hearing how James Stewart was "rumoured" to be 5 seconds a lap faster on the Suzuki than the Yamaha, alluding to a 2012 MX National domination and what happened? Now the "rumours" revolve around Schiffer being 5 seconds a lap faster than Barcia and Dungey whining about his bike and changing shocks every 2 laps. I guess when you realize there is such a lopsided reality, some sort of rumored hopes must persist to enable one to get through the day. As for Tim Tebow, how does it go when the ACTUAL games begin? Not too good...

....and I'll just say, now seeing this track and Lommel, and having seen plenty of Southwick.......there isn't THAT big of a difference. Yes, Lommel is definitely softer, but you GP lovers want to make the difference to be that of Carlsbad vs. the LeTouquet beach race. I guarantee none of the U.S. guys are going back to Roger or Mitch and saying they "never saw anything like this before....please let me go home!". You GP guys get confused because you see Cairoli and Herlings win by minutes at Lommel during the GPs. Problem is, it is against the other GP guys. You also saw Musquin dominate the GPs, and then Roczen after him......only what happened upon entering the U.S. scene? They became guys happy to get a moto win! Roczen was more elated with his one moto win this year than he was with his GP title the year before! Know why? Because it was a more difficult accomplishment! How ya like them apples?

B-KR wrote: 8:01am September 27, 2012

....and as for U.S. riders never riding sand. Dungey lives and trains in Florida and if you think his outdoor track is hardpack....well go ride in Florida sometime. I think Bagget spends a good deal of time in Florida at RV's and would not be surprised if Barcia does as well......but Barcia is a good sand rider and that doesn't happen without training on it. The one thing the Euros have going for them is that the heat of the U.S. tracks is no factor. If the U.S riders brought a nice humid 95 degree day with them, then you'd see how Herlings and Cairoli do without their air-conditioned and rainy euro air to breathe. I think the best part of the race coming up is that it puts to rest all this nonsense for another 11 months. Euro/GP guys, this is your best shot pretty much, according to you. What happens when THIS doesn't pan out? Maybe if they start forcing the U.S. team to count their WORST moto score, instead of dropping it, things will change?

Profile Picture
jeramey wrote: 8:11am September 27, 2012

@b-kr barcia also lives in florida and his track is sand as well, the only guy whos admitted to sand not being his best thing is bagget and he looks just fine

britisharmpump wrote: 8:48am September 27, 2012

what is always USAs strength...is the race hard flat out from gate to flag..sprint speed...not shore how that will work at lommel...BB said he was hanging at the end of the moto he beat Kroc at southwick....and looking at bam bam his clearly fast but the energy his useing!!!

RD will do the best as his very fit but also thinks!!! he isnt a stupid rider...thats why he has them titles

all 3 can ride sand all 3 are well trained....but the flat out sprint style may be what bite em!! lommel just gets worst and worst the lines change and it bites hard..

weve had alot of rain in england and its all been heading that way...the track will be heavy going....

Deep sand + two days of rain = better have good tear-off or Roll-off system. Damp sticky sand wrecks goggles. Starts will be extra important. Also plugs rads.

No matter where you come from, no matter who you support, the best time of the year for forum roaming!!!...trying to avoid all the arm pump though....

Its quite academic that as long as the USA doesnt do anything stupid, and finishes top 3 or 5 with each finish, they will win. No other country has 3 top riders (surprise surprise). They will however be schooled for out right speed in the sand. Whether they admit it after the race or not remains to be seen. MX1 Cairolli, MX2 not sure MX3 Herlings...by a looooooooooooooooooooooooong way.
