Kawasaki Signs Villopoto, Weimer to Multi-Year Deals
Friday, September 7, 2012 | 12:00 PM“Our goal from the beginning was to have the best riders on the track and we have that with Ryan and Jake,” said Reid Nordin, Kawasaki Senior Manager of Racing. “The guys work extremely well with each other, and have both had exceptional seasons. The entire team continues to work hard to improve. We are looking forward to having two Kawasaki’s on the podium and continued success for many years to come.”
In 2011, Villopoto had a dominating season winning the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship title, the AMA 450 Motocross Championship, the Motocross of Nations Chamberlin trophy, and the Monster Energy Cup. He successfully defended his Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in 2012, but an injury forced him to miss his title defense in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Villopoto has been with Kawasaki since his amateur career as part of Team Green. He has a Supercross Lites West Region Championship and three 250 motocross championships. Earning his first supercross class win in 2009, Villopoto has since accumulated a total of 24 supercross wins and sits seventh on the all-time win list.
Villopoto’s teammate Weimer competed in his first full season on the KX450F this year, finishing fifth overall in Supercross. He has carried the team through the summer by consistently battling for the podium during the outdoor nationals. Weimer made the jump up to 450 class after a successful lites career. Weimer captured the 2010 Supercross Lites West Region Championship, earned a total of eight supercross lites wins, three 250 motocross wins, and helped Team USA win the 2009 Motocross of Nations in Italy. After a broken arm hindered his debut 450 season in 2011, Weimer scored five supercross podiums in 2012 and currently sits fourth in the AMA Pro 450 Motocross Championship.
Weimer wraps up the 2012 motocross season at Lake Elsinore and then he will be rejoined by Villopoto at the Monster Energy Cup on October 20, 2012 in Las Vegas.

I fully understand signing RV but Weimer to a multi year deal? What will they do next year when BB is going 450 just let me go some place else? Or do they have more money then anyone else to spend on riders? I am shocked Weimer even gets a one year deal after his performance, when the studs get back and with Wilson and Barcia coming up he won't get a sniff.
Hell they could have got Nicoletti for cheaper than Weimer, got him training with Baker and off a 2011 bike and got better results.
So RV is racing the MEC? I thought the word was he wouldn't race till SX...must of missed it or maybe this is the word...hope so, that will be good.
Good to see the two stay together. If you have a good working team why mess with it up with changes. That being said, why do many Americans think our president deserves another four years in office???
yes offroadnomore he is racing mec he said it i cant wait to a1 to come i guess he wont be 100% at mec but come a1 im sure he will be 110% to defend his number 1 plate its going to be the best season ever its so stacked jb17,bb12,rd5,cr22,js7,tc41 and rv1 i just hope everyone stay healthy all the way to vegas, i hope rv1 gets his third championship in a row go rv
Always been a Wiemer fan. Glad to see he has something signed for the years to come, the guy deserves it.
YES!!! happy happy joy joy!! The thought of RV on Red makes me sick!! LOL
Claxton...My guess is they got Wiemer for Cheap!! Real Cheap!!
ride111mph ...HE DOES NOT!!!
How many years for each?
@ride11mph and billc PLEASE go to the Rush web site to spew fu&king; politics......this is were some MOTO guys come to GET AWAY from that sh*t.......RV will get back what is his and he won't be scared to blow up a tuff block or make a gnarly pass doin it....SX will not be the cakewalk for the 'new untested' lol KTM as was this outdoors...Wiemer's "multi year " I'm sure depends on his performance and he has gotten decent results...
This made BillC's day, probably went and enjoyed himselft a little to much after this.
Tonewall it is a free country (still) so I will post what ever I want, So stop telling others what to do and mind your own bis!!
I think blake bagget will stay for another season with the PC crew and move up to the 450 class for 2014 (but im not sure), what i dont understand was them signing weimer and not going for wilson or rattray considering (in my opinion) they will have a better season than weimer next year on the big class.
You can say what ever you want as long as Tonewall arees...I knew I could find the proff that Tonewall is a HYPOCRITE.

I like Jake W But Kawasaki, What are you thinking ????? With all the other injured riders back in he is 6th or 7th place rider on his best day ??
Wow !
OK biker143 of the 6 or 7 guys you say will beat Jake who could they have signed?
$mart move by Kawasaki but was there ever really any doubt they would not want to keep Villopoto? I don't think so. I believe Weimer is showing strength and maturity and will be strong in 2013 SX but even more so in 2013 MX.
What happens with Baggett in 2013? Has he already been re-signed by Mitch Payton/PC to do the 450's in 2013, or is he waiting until the end of the season to do a deal? Good track or bad, Elsinore will be interesting. If it were rougher, I'd say it would favor Tomac and Barcia. Have a feeling the last round in California is going to be smooth and fast which will favor Baggett.
@ ride111mph & BillC : I was about to write a lengthy response but decided against it. If you watched the RNC and DNC conventions, you already know who you want leading this country the next four years. This is a Moto site so shut up about that topic. Let's keep politics off the table here.
@ ride111 and BillC, God help us all if that Douche party gets another term!
its funny how everyone thinks weimer doesnt deserve to stay. they cant put everyone from pro circuit in the factory kawasaki ride when they move up from 250s .and are you all forgetting about how good weimer was in the 250s? just because guys like d wilson, barcia and tomac are doing good doesnt mean they can boot guys out of their facctory ride. i think its a good move to keep weimer, hes consistant wwhen hes healthy....... he got a couple of podiums last year in sx and mx
LOL Red54m......MotoXscript ...what ever.
Politics shouldn't matter here, freedom of speech or not. Just Moto -and everyone can agree to disagree without the volatility ... all I'm saying.
@ MotoXscript and anybody else who's opinion is that all we can and should post on here is moto talk.
Get over yourself, you are not the message board GESTAPO! Political decisions in this Country effect moto all the time. No, it does not affect my love for or my willingness to engage in moto. It can however make it more difficult for some.
I have said it before and will say it again, this is an opinion forum! I don't like or agree with, someones bad moto opinion anymore than I do politics or religious opinions. I am not condoning that is what we talk about here but when it comes up deal with it.
Best not to get worked up over what you can't control. REAL people type these messages and the upcoming vote is a REAL ISSUE.
Imagine what message boards were all about SEPT 11 and after. I am sure the same topic swirled nationwide and it had nothing to do with any chat forum on any website.
sheeewwww.. how 'bout them gas prices!?
I agree with keeping weimer hes at the top of list not counting the fast 4. I might take Canard and possibly wilson 1st but they are not available.
YAMAHA856, that is funny!
@Red 54m ... Yeah, it is an opinion forum... about Moto. Nice work comparing the deaths of 3000+ Americans to the current election split 50/50 down the middle. You're a moron. Look the mirror and you'll realize you're the one getting worked up and not getting over yourself. My guess is you've got anger issues. I'm dealing with it the way the majority here want it dealt with in telling you to just drop it.
@MotoXscript, you are funny. Your analogy about my comparisons is lame. I am guessing your a lefty and that is why you immediately cry foul and try to justify why it is ok to talk politics sometimes when it suits your cause.
Keep dealing with it, like I am dealing with you and you aren't telling me anything!
MotoXscript..Why must you name call?? Can't you have a convo without name calling?? makes you seem very intelligent challenged and also makes you look like the one who is worked up because you can't control your self.
guess what I just saw a political add on the right side of this thread!! Hmmmmmmmmmmm seems it's OK with RacerX and guess what MotoXscript THEY run the site!!
Red54m kicked it off with the word 'douche' in describing the President. I noticed you didn't feel the need to criticize his choice word, BillC. Obviously you're another one of those double-standard kind of guys, like Red54m. I didn't realize how upsetting 'moron' would be to you guys. When you grow up with three older brothers the name calling can get a little snarky at times. You need to toughen up a bit there.
Regardless, it's still not as offensive as some words used by many who do not respect both the President and the Office of the President of the United States of America. In my book you can have a different opinion (been that way in America for 230+ years), so long as you can substantiate why and not just shoot from the hip. That's the easy, riot crowd mentality taking over. Even my most opinionated friends don't bag on the President himself. They have enough good sense, respect and patriotism to disagree without aiming the fireworks at the President. And yeah, my friends and I do use the word moron once in a while but none of us get bent out of shape about it they way you did.
@ MotoXscript, specifically I said " Douche Party " summing up the whole lot, not isolating your dear president. If you like what is going on in this Country, it is no wonder I am arguing with you. Was arguing with you, bigger fish to fry, later!
@Billc ....have it your way....see what great moto topics are being discussed now you a&s......F. U. it was a suggestion not a demand ...just knew where it would end up. and it did.
In case you are unaware Red54m, our great country operates under a Democracy, made up of a two party system. Not a Theocracy, or a Monarchy, or a Dictatorship- any one of which the Republicans wish was theirs alone. The Right has sat with their arms crossed, a 'Hell No' work ethic for two years, and been determined not to help the American people. Just make Obama a one term President, so said Republican Mitch McConnell. That's nothing but a reckless, stubborn, crybaby and debilitating attitude. How has that mindset helped anyone? Didn't
The President and the 'whole lot' [as you refer to those on the Left] prevented the extinction of the American Automobile industry, reformed pay for Women so they might receive the same wage as men for the same work, and instituted a program that will enable families to care for their children with never-ending, a debilitating diseases that would have bankrupted their families. It's known affectionately as ObamaCare. Maybe you've heard of it. I happen to know people in all three categories who have or will be greatly effected by these Presidential achievements. How about you?
In short, the Democrats have created and saved over a million jobs in three and a half years. Republican job creation: Zero. The best Presidents in history have never won any popularity contests while in office. Years later, their struggles and achievements, unrecognizable to many near-sighted extremists of the day, are lauded as victories which helped the country become the greatest country on Earth. May you live so long.
We're supposed to help the weak and the sick during our time here on the planet, not tell them to go away and not become ill. The leaders of the Republican are more interested in more money vs. helping to create and heal our nation. Hope you enjoy your fish.
Weimer is a smart pick for a number 2 rider on a team, as he had a respectable season for only his second year, recalling that he was injured a lot of last year, i believe. Teams have only so much budget (except it seems KTM) that a price like RV demands that it usually does not leave a lot for a second rider. As far as the comments that he only did OK becasue the others were hurt, here we go again... you have to be init to win it. Jake did his job this year, right now he is probably expected to be a 3 - 5th place guy by Kawasaki. Badgett definately has another year on the 250, then he will move up barring any injury next season.
BTW, I don't mind a few political jabs on here as long as the topic stays mostly moto.
With that said... Obama is a douche.
Sincerely, a business owner who just found out a few months ago that I didn't build my business.
weimer is a good rider for the team. is additude is good unlike barcia roosting track officials and throwing shit when he loses.one of the more consistent riders unlike alot of the riders like stewart. smart on kawi for the decision
MotoXScript, I don't want to keep this a polital thread, but I have never seen anyone in my life try to demonize people for being sucessful. This country was never about government dependency or handouts, but that is what I fear its becoming. There are 3 types of people in this world, The ones who will do anything they can to become sucessful in life and make any sacrifice along the way, the ones who are OK to be in the middle and are happy to work the 40 hour work week, and the ones looking to leech off of society and government handouts. Obama wants to eliminate the first type, so everyone is more "equal". I am neither "Right" nor "Left", and there are a lot of issues that we need to fix in this country, healthcare costs, jobs, etc. but Obama is not the answer. We became this great nation on Capitalism, not Socialism.
You can use what ever Buzz word you want. Perspective,Lookin forward. It is what it is ..........What ever other than the last 250 motos left and MXdN....... Best thing that comes out of tommorrow is ..................
"COLLEGE FOOTBALL"
Yeah Buddy !
FU&K POLITICS.
Motohead279, With all do respect you should know better than to call the leader of our country a douche. That's just un-American and total disrespect on your part.
I am a business owner too. I have employees, I provide insurance, pay a good wage, offer retirement plans, etc. and as great-a-product as I may manufacture and sell, my business was only a dream until it was transported to customers. How? By those that came before me who built the roads, railways and runways that help me ship around the county and all around the world. That's the out-of-context part of the President's message about building a business Fox news will not show you on television.
Unless you have a fruit stand and all your customers walk to you each day, then you alone did not build your business. Like most things good in the USA, all business' that succeed in this country are a team effort. That's how it gets done.
MotoXscript, I heard the whole speech and he was pretty clear on his message. And the egotistical trite way he said it made me sick. I did not take one handout, one penny from anyone. My workweek is nearly 80 hours a week, been doing it for almost 10 years and sacrificed A LOT to do what I needed to do to succeed. So with that message I owe part of my sucess to Goodyear for making tires on my van, and to Nike so I don't have to walk around with shoes, the shampoo companies for having clean hair when meeting clients, etc, etc?
Hey we can agree to disagee about the way this county has gone. Blame is everywhere both right and left,. And as an American I can like or dislike whoever I want, president or not. I do not a lot of his decisions he has made and his visions for our future. We need more than Hope and Change next term.BTW, like MSNBC is any more "fair"?
Glad to see RV is riding the MEC, bought tickets this year. (wanted to keep this somewhat moto related)
there ya go ...you politics guys pretty much got er all workin and figered out. now if you can just bottle up one of Rush's bean and oxycontin flavored farts for Bill c to whiff all will be well in political land (the entertainment division of big bizness)....oh yeah Go RV just (wanted to keep it moto related.....)
I absolutely LOVE when people tell others what they should do with their money. I'm guessing RV's friendship with Weimer has a good deal to do with Kawasaki keeping him as a teammate. I bet they got RV (again) for less than it would have taken for others to get him and having Weimer as his daily riding partner might be part of the deal. As if Weimer has been a slouch anyway? Weimer clearly improved this year and should improve again with another year on the 450. I would love to have heard some of these armchair QB's opinions back when Roger signed Dungey to his 1st 250 contract. "Ryan Dungey???!!!! Man, Jason Lawrence is 10 times the rider he is!" How about when Honda signed Doug Henry? Or when Yamaha signed John Dowd? Something tells me the guys in the power chairs have a bit more on the ball than some of the opinionated dopes on the message boards.
If there's such an animal as a cerebral motocrosser, Jake fills that bill. Maybe he's an excellent tester.
MotoXscript, reading your political comments is very disheartening. I respect anyone who builds and runs their own business because I know how difficult it is and how much sacrifice it requires. It is sad that you actually believe what you wrote. The American automobile industry was not on the verge of extinction. An American automobile company was and what the federal government did for that company is despicable. And the romantic political story manufactured from the GM bailout stands to be a classic example of the most powerful tool of a modern day politician - voter ignorance. The Republican party is disgusting but the Democratic party is even worse.
A few Weimer supporters, not many. sits 4th in series points in Outdoor Nationals. What else does he have to do to get re-signed.
@racor357900... yeah but he sits 4th in points with all the real contenders out of the season, rv, cr, tc and js for the exception of rd... just wait till next year when barcia, rattray and wilson go for it and he will luckily get a top 7-10
Not a good point since the old adage is you have to be in it. 4th in points is 4th is points: Team Honda, JGR, Suzuki, or Yamaha don't have any of their riders sitting 4th in points. It is the allegedly lowly Shorty and Alessi who lay claim to being better right now and where will they be when all the hotshots are out there? By the way, who should Kawasaki hire Alessi or Short?...... since all the rest of those hotshots are signed and delivered at a much healthier price I'm sure. I think Weimer is a much better choice in SX than those 2.
I think its funny that everyone bashes on Weimer. His supercross title he won, he beat Canard straight up! the year before he battled Dungey tell the last round. At Phoenix this year he got 2nd with all the fast guys their. wait a minuet, if all the fast guys were their he must of gotten a 6th or 7th right. He helped us win a Motocross of Nations. When they had the Us Open, he won the 450/250 class on a 250 ( only guy to ever do that ). He is usually healthy and up near the front of the pack. Sure he has his bad races but who dosent. My last point is if he sucks so bad, then you should go show him up and take his contract away from him
@Motohead279 >> Differing opinions are what built this country, by way of compromise. If one party refuses to negotiate (Republicans), I sure as hell don't want them in the Oval Office.
The Democratic party is hardly perfect and I disagree with some things they want but the other side has had the, "my way or the highway" attitude far too long. Romney and Ryan are talking out of both sides of their mouths and the public is realizing it. They will loose in November and we'll be better for it.
731 Chopper >> sorry you're disheartened by my thoughts and comments. Both political parties could use an enema... but the Right's would take much longer to complete. And despite his ridiculous and disrespectful RNC moment in Tampa, I too am a Clint Eastwood fan (of his movie directing and acting..., not his politics). What a sad sight: Old man talking to empty chair...! Republican decision making at it's finest and on display for the world to see.
It will be interesting to see how RV does at the MEC after 5 months off and the rehabbing. Had a knee done myself in March and a shoulder 2 and a half weeks ago ...and virtually no sleep since Aug 23. (Humn..., Maybe all my sleep deprivation has had a little something to do with my relentless thoughts about politics.)
I know Dungey will be strong but I hope RV brings it and the two of them put on a passing and re-passing clinic..., once they both get past Alessi. Be watching the race from home myself and hopefully well into rehabbing my rotator cuff for next season. I'm sure it will be great in person.
Ok, quick lesson to all of you who operate your checkbook in the red on this site(most here fit that description). If Kawi has 1M to spend and they sign RV for 900k/yr, now who would be the best number 2 back-up rider you could get? You promise him the best bikes, he gets to practice with the top rider, and you promise him all the race bonuses he can win? Now mind you race bonuses at this level are very nice...you think DWilson gonna sign, Rattray?? I think that caliber of racer wants to be the number 1 rider for a team and demands a big salary. Weimer, the dude that gets very little respect for a #2 team rider just did what any team would of been proud of...friggin #3 for the season. Not a bad investment. Kawi happy, Weimer happy. I think many of you think these guys can just demand any figure they spit out. Look at Pourcel. If you go to your local races, not many new bikes on the line. 450's last several yrs for us slow guys so no need for new every yr. Statistics show first yr on 450 is very much a learning yr. Weimer really missed all of last yr outdoors so Kawi considers this his first full yr. Now from yr 2 onward, most 250 riders that won championships, usually will really start to deliver the goods. Enough said, but imho Kawi smiling and Weimer probably gonna make a nice living just off of bonus money. Who cares what people say about you Weimer, just quietly keep kickin butt and ignoring their lack of respect and keep remembering where your real fans are. Right here in the Rocky Mnt states...
@ motoxscript,,,if the govt takes care of them(our tax money),,then why would they take care of themselves??,,why work or try and better yourself and your family when its handed to you?,,healthcare foodstamps wick heap ect... and the list goes on,,Damn maybe the auto industry should have seen it ahead of time and made some cutbacks but instead they put their hand out and got bailed out,,,,
Population-wise, I believe there are far fewer people crying for a hand-out than there are persons struggling to get back into the workforce, do the job, take care of their families and pay their bills. So many businesses that become corporations are corrupted by power and greed and will keep getting wealthier regardless of who is left behind with little opportunity for a fighting chance, let alone success. No one party is free of such evidence that change needs to occur.
I just happen to believe one party's long-range outlook and the plans of implementation is a superior strategy to the other party's secrecy and unwillingness to explain [beyond some generic talking points] how they 'would have' done things better and claim they 'will' do things better once they until occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.
On another note, despite the differing opinions of the Lake Elsinore track (sounds strangely political in this note...), I thought there was still some pretty great racing, especially in the 250 class. Well done, Blake Baggett! And Dungey is again the man in the 450 class. I could quote Chad Reed right now but we all have heard those five words plenty of times.
Have a feeling the Americans are gonna impress and make us all proud at The Motocross of Nations in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if there will be same day or delayed TV coverage?

The Unions and the dumb azzes they agreed to what they got are to blaim for GM's issues. Did you know that oBama's auto zar picked whitch sectorts of the auto industry to help? ALL UNION, the adelfid (sp) people(non union) got screwed by oBama!! big time!!.
.As for the roads that the Gov built to help my bis...Where did the MONEY come from?? US!! so ya see it's a 2 way street, the could not do it with out our money but you on the left don't look at it that way because you think MY money is the GOV's money!!...
.tonewall stick you hypocrite!!!
MotoXscript how did people survive on this land before the GOV?? YUP they took care of themselfs!!! Now we have the GOV telling me we need to pay for birth control for some 30 year old who is still in college?? You don't find that a little disturbing??
.The media rips a woman like condaleza rice who came from NOTHING because she is a conservative and the put oBama up as the poster child because he is a Lib... But yet he is a slef proclaimed DRUG user, Pot and cocaine and also a big time class skipper... Same with Bill Clinton, some say he was basically raping woman in the WH but thats OK cuz he is a LIB!! But the only dirt they could find on Mitt is he hazed some guy (maybe) 30+ years ago and that front page news for days but the other stuff gets burried!! That seem OK with you??
.Also they want mitt's tax returns but never cared when John Kerry ran now did they? Why don't the ask for oBama's college transcripts?? or ask why Bill Clinton has money in the Cayman's like they do to Mitt?? the Hypocrisy is sickening!!!
back, LOL. OK also you say the Conservative way wont work..OK then Tell me why it worked in Wisconsin,New Jersey and Ohio?? They CUT TAXES, CUT SPENDING and waste, eliminated deficits (8 billion, 11 billion and 7 billion) and balanced their budgets. Seems like it worked pretty well!! But the feds keep running up our's, 16 trill now!! That enough for you or you want more??

@ Bill C .......... There's plenty of ammunition to support both parties if you only select the information that supports your side. I'm not American but I follow the politics of it somewhat closely and we essentially live in the same world here in Canada. If there's one thing I've noticed, it's that a lot of Americans are seemingly ok with lining the pockets of corporations and the elite who control your country and have no interest or care for your well being. But, as soon as the idea of helping anybody else less fortunate than yourself crosses your minds you get all up in arms. Your country is made up of people, the so called 99%. Squashing the middle class and giving all control to the 1% is not the right path and that's where Romney will continue to go, he's all business, all bottom line. Him and his buddies are doing just fine. I'm not even considered liberal in Canada, I'm not a fan of "handouts". But the idea that everyone in this day and age stands a chance at becoming what the well off (myself included) consider "successful" just isn't reality anymore. There is absolutely not equal opportunity for success for everyone nowadays when 1% at the top hold so much power and their only goal is to keep things the same. Americans also need to stop thinking of every single type of social spending as "welfare". It's hard for me to grasp how you can bash democrats so hard when the current republicans are such morons, whose only goal since day 1 of Obama's term has been to get him out of office at all costs, stifle progress and ultimately the well being of the general American population.
Please.... You may want to brush up on things.
.Check out the book " the price of politics" you will see that Obama is the 1 who was un willing to compromise. Cantor had a list of ideas when they had their meeting. Despite saying he would compromise the president rejected all of his ideas. Then Obama told him elections have consequences and I won. So he threw away opportunity to be bipartisan and actually pushed the Republicans away.
and beond that why would you not want to get rid of a guy who is so far left he will not work with you? More proof that he's extremely left and has radical ideas is the fact that when he proposed his own budget it got shot down 97 to 0 in the Senate and 400 / something to 0 in the house. Not even 1 Democrat would vote for it. So don't try to tell me this is the Republicans fault. His plans/ideas are bad so yes your gole at that point it to make him a 1 term deal.
Hey BillC, Thanks for responding. I hope you are a better rider than you are at understanding the political landscape. Sounds like you want to return to the days of standing in your yard, gun in hand yelling, "Stay off my land!" Even though it's cutting into my sleeping time, hell, here's some back at ya... (LOL as you like to so often put it). Enjoy... like nobody else will.
Condoleezza Rice knew about Al Qaeda's numerous threat's of harm and decree to infiltrate our country with terrorists cells weeks before the nightmare of the Twin Tower bombings (ironically, on this day 11 years ago), but yet did nothing about it. She guarded that information and did not make it a priority of the highest degree. You subjugate Obama & Clinton as drug abusers yet you make no mention of George Bushes own publicly acknowledged battles with alcohol and other substances...
You allege a great deal more adultery (than getting a BJ) by former President Clinton than you have any knowledge of and assume he is the first and only President to ever have a woman walk into the Oval Office alone while the secret service guys in dark glasses wait outside. That has been happening for decades on the Right and the Left. Stop pretending to be so naive, Bill.
Research your talking points while you're at it too. Kerry did disclose his Taxes, despite Romney and his surrogates repeatedly claiming that Kerry only disclosed 2 years worth of taxes during his bid to occupy the White House in '04 . The truth, the facts are indisputable despite your crying foul. Kerry released five years of tax documents and consistently released earlier returns during his Senate races as well. But why are you arguing that minutia. Kerry never became President.., and neither will Romney.
Clinton has been out of the White House for 12 years, Bill. Another irrelevant talking point on your part. Even if wife Hillary runs in 2016, it's her Tax returns (not Bill's) which would be released.
Romney still won't disclose his returns beyond two years (what's he hiding, Bill?), and is still offering nothing but talking points. Nothing definitive in so far as policy specifics, how he will lead the country, move forward and negotiate foreign policy, etc. He and Paul Ryan flip-flop more often on ObamaCare line items (what will/will not they agree with today? ) than my daily change of underwear.
Regarding your alleging of Obama's Harvard (college) grades know this; Obama graduated with the designation, "Magna Cum Laude" ...(with Great distinction) . Whether you realize it or not that has been verified in the press through Harvard University, despite Rush Limbaugh's numerous unnamed sources that continue to go unnamed... because they are lies. (Limbaugh's source, "A 'guy' called me and said blah-blah-blah about Obama's grades" is, like the man uttering the words, a joke).
Bill thousands of people had to take pay cuts and loose jobs in the states you mentioned because of excesses created by Republicans and Democrats alike. When an administration pays for two wars on credit but doesn't figure out how to eventually pay back what it borrowed from the federal government for it and instead leaves a massive debt for the next President, just what options do you suggest are available? Do we begin printing monopoly money and ruin our economy completely? NO!
Cutting spending and INCREASING TAXES in the short run is the only option we can use, until more demand for American goods is realized. If you have debt do you borrow more money to pay it off? Robb a bank? Hope you win the Lottery? No..., of course not. You cut back and pay up the creditors, even if it means Mac-n-Cheese, and Ramen noodles for a while until you've course-corrected, right? Do you really not understand such basics of business and government?
Republicans want to cut taxes, education, raise student loan percentages cut funding for every mandated federal program and special interest group out there. I'll agree, some need downsizing but not complete unilateral abolishment at the expense of among other things, clean air and water and other agencies that elevate America above 3rd world country status.
Think it over, Bill and maybe between the weekends of Motocross or Enduro racing, You could enroll in a local college and take a few semesters of Business, Economics and Public Affairs classes and get a better understanding of your ill-informed and unsubstantiated point of view. If yo didn't suggest it was so one-sided, Bill, I'd actually have some respect for you and your other inventive Republican cohorts. Truth always wins.
The Hal Mason video is something I'm surprised you point to, with your previously one-sided and skewed POV. It actually supports some of my own arguments. Study the Country of Greece a bit and you will come to a much better understanding why it's comparisons to the problems in the United states are ludicrous. Example: Countries in other parts of the world (like Greece) that have faced rising interest costs on their debt have seen the value of their currency decline. However, as a member of the European Monetary Union (EMU), Greece doesn't control its own currency, Bill! They use the Euro which is controlled by Germany and France. The United States has its own currency and its own monetary policy.
Not only do we have our own currency here in America, our debt is denominated in dollars. Over the past 30 years, many people have predicted that foreigners would stop buying our debt, or at least demand higher interest rates due to the possibility of extra risk if our currency became devaluated. Bill, this hasn't happened!
Instead, when the world financial crisis exploded a few years ago, what happened? Investors flocked to the sudden debt America was facing which consequently drove rates down to the very lowest levels in decades. Repeatedly the market has disagreed with prognosticators of doom for the America. It's out there Bill. RESEARCH it..., somewhere other than on your Right wing sources. The other HUGE problem with Hal Mason's You Tube video is that he fails to review what happened the 8 years previous to Obama's Presidency.
And despite The Fraternal Order of Police's (FOP) refusal to endorse Romney (first such refusal of a Presidential candidate in 98 years) and Romney's 2012 Campaign slogan, "Keep America America" and it's eery similarity to the 1922 KKK slogan, "Keep America American", one bit of good news is that the Stock market is higher now that before it began crashing at the end of Bush's 2nd term. Nice try Bill. Nice try, but no dice.
Here's a link [ http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/09/02/1127055/-Which-party-is-best-for-the-economy-It-s-not-even-close#two ] that you can learn much more from than the video Hal Mason clip that falls far short of its completeness. As others have mentioned, you might want to cop to the idea that our current economic woes are more than one side's fault, Bill. I can compromise and agree to that. Can you?
BillC, Even those who observe from the North can see what you cannot; and you live here! Open your eyes a little wider.
Talk about seeing only one side!! Bill Clinton was handed OB and knew of the treat but did nothing either!! as for "You subjugate Obama & Clinton as drug abusers yet you make no mention of George Bushes own publicly acknowledged battles with alcohol and other substances..." YOU JUST made my point!! The meida blasted Bush for that but over looks what oBama has done!! See my point??
."(Limbaugh's source, "A 'guy' called me and said blah-blah-blah about Obama's grades".........You mean like Herry Reed and many others said about Mitt not paying taxes?? Hmmmmm
. If obama was so great in school why not release the doc's?? What is he hiding??
. When an administration pays for two wars on credit but doesn't figure out how to eventually pay back what it borrowed from the federal government for it and instead leaves a massive debt for the next President........You seem to forget the DEM'S voted to start them wars with the REP"s so don't blaim one side there buddy!!
.Do we begin printing monopoly money and ruin our economy completely.....You mean like they have been doing for years now??
Cutting spending and INCREASING TAXES in the short run is the only option we can use, until more demand for American goods is realized........... how come they CUT taxes in the states I talked about and it worked then??
.Do you really not understand such basics of business and government?
Republicans want to cut taxes, education, raise student loan percentages cut funding for every mandated federal program and special interest group out there. I'll agree, some need downsizing but not complete unilateral abolishment at the expense of among other things, clean air and water and other agencies that elevate America above 3rd world country status..... Do you not understand that what has been give can't be payed for?
.If yo didn't suggest it was so one-sided, Bill, I'd actually have some respect for you..... You seem pretty onesided yourself!!..
.As for me needing to take a few semesters of Business.... If you knew me you would laugh at that. I own a Business and because of LOT"S of HR's and hard work am very well off and have several employees whom have a VERY good 401K that I fund, their payed VERY well, I pay 100% of their Healthcare and give large bounuses and many other perks, most have been with me for over 10 years and would never think of leaving cuz they know how well thay have it.
.You are far more one sided than I, The VID link I posted I don't believe ( I will listen again) blaimed obama once!! It said the GOV's problem's... BUT YOU take the Vad as a slam at obama so that is proff that you are only seeing one side!! NO??
.I do agree it's both sides fault. 100%, I wish we could get rid of everyone of them and start over and have term limits and a flat tax that way every one pays the same and not one deduction. that would be FAIR what we have now is not.
You named Harry Reed as a source for the Dem's (argument) asking Romney for his Taxes... What's your point? Romney ignores the requests that will keep coming, into November, and the people smell a Rat. Still waiting for you to name Limbaugh's credible source for his lies. My source was the Harvard University.
If you're looking for Saint-hood and purity among political candidates, you're a fool, Bill. Sadly the two do not co-exist in this day and age. How many Republican senators and congressman have also had their hidden battles with substance abuse and sexual misconduct in the last several years until embarrassingly exposed ?
For decades the economy has always been stronger with a Democratically run White House, Congress and Senate. Read through the Link I sent you. While your vid's Voice Over talking points determinedly speaks 95 % of the time about the years 2008-2012, the link I sent gives a broader perspective than you seem open to acknowledging.
The government needs a better overhauling than my 7 year old 4-stroke, but Romney's not the mechanic for the job. Romney will destroy it and take us all down in flames.
Don't know how you can claim I am far more one-sided than you. Have you read your own posts? Well, at least you're not one of those idiot 'Birthers'. Oh..., wait. Perhaps I spoke too soon?
Why do you keep quoting me when I've already said it? Weak communication skills?
'Saint' BillC, Did you not have a beer, smoke any grass, etc., in college? Why is this so relevant to you? Obama admits such lapses in judgement. People try things, wise up- and move on. Has your life been error/mistake free?
BillC, Come on, buddy... Bob Woodward's, 'The Price of Politics' leans 'right' and got mixed/poor reviews. Another very one-sided assessment. No big surprise, coming from you.
You named Harry Reed as a source for the Dem's (argument) asking Romney for his Taxes... What's your point?. My point was You say Rush had not source and Herry did the same thing with NO source..."the other side" see??
.If you're looking for Saint-hood and purity among political candidates, you're a fool, Bill. Sadly the two do not co-exist in this day and age. How many Republican senators and congressman have also had their hidden battles with substance abuse and sexual misconduct in the last several years until embarrassingly exposed ?..Again you miss the point, I said the meida OVER LOOKS what obama did but NEVER over looked what Bush did and now Mitt... Get my point?
.For decades the economy has always been stronger with a Democratically run White House, Congress and Senate. Read through the Link I sent you. While your vid's Voice Over talking points determinedly speaks 95 % of the time about the years 2008-2012, the link I sent gives a broader perspective than you seem open to acknowledging. ..........Yes because it has goten so much worce the last few years but as all the graphs showed it way back into the 80's... Are you that sencative to think its just blaim obama??
.Romney will destroy it and take us all down in flames...... and you know this how?? sounds like a guess at best??
.Why do you keep quoting me when I've already said it? Weak communication skills?... Because you seem to have a hard time following what I am talking about so i am answering the ststements you put out, Thought it would be easer for ya.
.'Saint' BillC, Did you not have a beer, smoke any grass, etc., in college? Why is this so relevant to you? Obama admits such lapses in judgement. People try things, wise up- and move on. Has your life been error/mistake free? .... Nope, NEVER have tried any drugs and all the alcohol I have tried would not fill a 8 oz glass.and Like I said i was not condeming obama for being a drugie just how the media over looks it.
BillC, Romney has made his fortunes from buying companies, selling off the weak assets, bankrupting the shareholders and leaving thousands of workers unemployed in his wake. That along with his undisclosed taxes and specifics makes me believe he's a train conductor without a license. Honestly, do you really want that kind of guy running this country? I don't.
Sensitive to you just blaming Obama? What? Nearly everything you point to judges Obama in one way or another. You are a classic example of using the double-standard, often.
There you go again with your inflammatory use of nouns, Bill. The President's not a druggie and you know it. Guess it makes you feel good to express such feelings about the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth. Not very Patriotic of you. That you are so unsullied and abstinent too is nothing short of amazing. Well done. Don't fall off your pedestal there though, Mr. Clean. (You set yourself up for that).
How have I had a hard time following? I've refuted all of your arguments... What I am having some difficulty with is deciphering your phrasing and spelling here and there You don't argue realistically when your backed into the corner. You try to divert attention elsewhere. You're just trying to sound clever, in spite of yourself, but you're not.
Bill, I'll never see it your way and you will never see it my way. Can we agree that you are on the Right side and I'm on the Left, that we are both big fans of Motocross and when my screenplay with Motocross as the backdrop for a theatrical drama hits the screen in a few years you'll be so interested you'll buy a ticket, a DVD or an iTunes copy of the movie? I hope you can leave it there. Why not let it go....?
Who are you guys going to run against Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton 2016?
...Lack of policy specifics...
"For decades the economy has always been stronger with a Democratically run White House, Congress and Senate"
Word up, what was the job creation + / - again for dems/republicans? Bottom line is America needs jobs first and foremost, and neither party is addressing this enough. Republican trickle down economic theory is a proven failure except for the top 1%. Based on history if I could/had to choose I would pick dem's all day for job creation. I wouldn't trust Romney/republicans for a second when it comes to helping middle America.
The other bottom line is that above all reason/logic/circumstances a good chunk of the USA hated Obama before he even started his first day, and they've never had any intention of giving him a chance and never will even if he rights the ship. I've heard some pretty disgusting things said by some pretty ignorant and innocent looking people in the southern USA while on riding trips during our winters (and they say these things when they don't even really know me). He never had a chance and still doesn't in their bible thumping, conservative, racist minds. I'm not at all saying that's you either BillC, I was just sayin....
You guys are Funny I will give you that.
.But I am still waiting for someone to tell me how taking my money and giving it to someone is fair? Like I said some people will not work OT so why should they get my money when I am willing to work crazy HR's to get it?? It's BS. I am so sick of the Pay your fair share crap, the ONLY FAIR way is EVERYONE pays the same %.
.50% of the people pay NO fed income tax..Why?? No skin in the game so they don't care!!! rememeber guys what happend in other countrys where everyone got everything!! worked out well right??
.Retardcross you say your from canada, great place BTW, I go up there a lot in the winter snowmobiling..LOVE it. But pretty much everyone i talk to says the health care system sucks, many have come to the USA when they have issues so why do we want to go down that road??
Another question. Why did things go so good when Clinton was Pres? Would like to hear your thoughts on that.
Joe Biden in 2016...The gaff master? man if a Rep said the things that dumb azz has said the media would hang him!!
Google Clinton's speech from the DNC Bill, and you'll start to understand. Why you droppin' slang/name 'bombs' on Biden? I've been more than fair about your guys. What's up? Cheap shot when you've run out of argument?
How fast you forget: The media 'hung' Bush' plenty when his daily gaff-machine was in full swing for 8 years. How could you forget that?
@ Bill C ...... Our healthcare is fine, naturally you guys have more of everything (technology/specialists) and it's bigger as a whole due to population (California = Canada for argument's sake). As a motocrosser I've tested out our system more than once haha, and your system as well for that matter. I've always been extremely happy with ours and your hospitals as well, but then again my insurance company through work does all the cross-border hoop jumping for me and it didn't cost me a dime in that situation in the USA. That being said, the times I've been hurt here at home, had it been private healthcare my bills would be astronomically higher than I will contribute via taxes the rest of my life already. Universal healthcare is no different than car insurance, we all pay in not knowing if or when we'll ever need it, but in dire times it's there. I don't care what political spectrum people are from, no family should be bankrupted by the healthcare system especially by some fine print in a sneaky insurance policy. I rest easy knowing myself and my family will never be bankrupted by an unexpected health issue. Universal healthcare is not cheap, but neither is your current system, rated the most expensive among all developed nations (in 2010 anyways, too lazy to check right now). I feel like the only people in Canada that would say our healthcare sucks are the ones who don't actually need to be at the hospital in the first place, I'm sure you guys see that as well. I sat in an emergency waiting room in Georgia just as long as I've ever waited in a Canadian hospital. Also, any extremely rare or highly advanced procedures we could possibly need that aren't available here (this is extremely rare) can be done in the USA and our system will cover it if it's mandatory and not just cosmetic in nature for the most part. I'd say the biggest difference between our healthcare and yours is the mentality that Americans are treated as customers with money being priority, and Canadians are treated as neighbours needing help, no money involved.
Amen, Retardcross..., but I still doubt if he will understand.
I feel like I should just add also that there's going to be abuse of any type system and both are far from perfect, the true low lives out there will always be leaches, it can't be avoided, but I just can't see a downside to healthcare being more available for everyone. There's just no downside to a healthier population, healthy people cost a lot less in the long run than sick people.
MotoXscript... AGAIN you miss the point, Bush got hammered everytime he made a gaff but Biden get a PASS!!! man!!!
.Also funny how you called people "Moron's" then made fun of me for complaining about it now you are crying that I called Biden a Gaff master?? WOW.
.A STILL no one answers the question!!But I am still waiting for someone to tell me how taking my money and giving it to someone is fair? Like I said some people will not work OT so why should they get my money when I am willing to work crazy HR's to get it?? It's BS. I am so sick of the Pay your fair share crap, the ONLY FAIR way is EVERYONE pays the same %.
.and you wonder why I quote you?? I told you you seem to have a hard time following and here is more proff.
.
Retardcross i am VERY happy you have had good luck up there, are you telling me all the people I talked to lied to me?? The things I have read about people weiting for over a year for a Knee/hip job are lies??
@ Bill C ........ If you have a medical situation that actually requires immediate care it's not an issue, wait lists are prioritized. A knee/hip replacement doesn't just pop up, thats a degenerative condition that takes years to develop and typically there are long term steps and therapy leading up to surgery, with surgery being the last resort (how it should be). Patients are prioritized by medical urgency by doctors/tests, not by money. Then again, anyone who thinks they take priority over others when it isn't truly necessary can skip the line and pay a premium somewhere private and get their surgery immediately. I won't deny some people face wait times and that's a good talking point, our system is far from perfect like yours and it does happen.
Some food for thought...
"Since, ideally, waiting lists prioritize higher-risk patients to receive surgery ahead of those with lower risks, this helps reduce overall patient mortality. Consequently, a wealthy or highly insured patient in a system based on profit or ability to pay (as in the U.S.) may be pushed into surgery or other procedures more quickly, with a result in higher morbidity or mortality risk. This is in addition to the better-understood phenomenon in which lower-income, uninsured, or under-insured patients have their care denied or delayed, also resulting in worse health care"
BillC, When Biden makes a gaff I Do hear the media talk about. They're just never as memorable or as devastating as some gaffs that stay in the country's collective consciousness a while longer. What you aren't aware of [or not willing to admit] is that George Bush was so good at it and gaffed so often, it felt like a 24 hr. Bush/gaff news cycle. Clearly there is just not as much opportunity for coverage of gaffs from a Vice-President (who makes very few) as there is for a President (who made many); the Leader, who is strategically more visible to the world. I watch FoxNews as much as I watch MSNBC and believe me, Fox never misses an opportunity to make use of a Democratic gaff for a Hannity, O'Rielly, Limbaugh lead story about the Race for the Presidency.
I fully explained my use of the word 'moron' as it applied to a brother, friend or fellow blogger. I didn't use these kind of slams against the President. Apparently you can't understand the obvious; these are separate arguments. I just refuse to disrespect or disparage any President, Democrat or Republican. You clearly don't feel the same way.
Not sure why you ramble on so and continue to argue some of these other points... you tend to become your own self-defeating purpose. Why you proudly put yourself on the no drugs/alcohol purity pedestal (are we supposed to admire you?) but display not an ounce of christianity or sympathy in your ability to, even from the smallest of margins, recognize there are those out there who genuinely need help in this world is truly odd.
Did God bless you with all your wealth and success so you could hoard it and be unwilling to consider helping those who truly need help in this world? I'm sure you've helped people in the world when they needed it. You don't seem like that bad of a guy. But I get the sense that now, (and as you tend to do), after someone has called you out, you will re-group and come forward up with some elaborate story and statistic of your charitable employee or community contributions (good for you if so 'cause you and all of us should).
After which, I have a feeling you might still double-down on your vague talking points with little specifics and argue about those who abuse the system, are not really poor and destitute, don't work or even try, etc. Okay. Unfortunately, that is the world we live in and all you're rantings can't change it, and nothing that Obama or Romney would do could either... so why not let it go. I see it coming BillC, so please...., save it for somebody else who cares about your side of the argument.
There's a bigger problem here though, BillC. You seem unreasonable much of the time and tend to side-pocket your arguments with the less important/relevant, when you run thin on real, practical, common sense analysis about important issues..., but that tends to be a Republican trait so I won't fault you completely for that one. You like to circle the wagons and engage/waste a lot of time arguing the same (little) things, repeatedly no less. You've made yourself very clear. Your politics are what they are... So are mine. Why not show off some of that successful business acumen you boast about by leaving the political discourse alone and talking about Motocross or Supercross again?
I don't have time enough in my day to devote these long moments of helping you see a bigger picture. It's just tiring..., feels like 'work' trying to open your eyes to the possibility that there is another 50%+ of the country that believes things are better than they were 4 years ago and that we are heading in the right direction.
There are other business people like me who think you are on the wrong side of History and that their business' have a far better future with 4 more years of Obama than with any representative on the Right. You're not 100% right, BillC but neither am I. Can you admit that much or are you too proud and pure for such self-analysis?
Gotta' get to a meeting. Maybe you do too. Let it go BillC... and enjoy the Motocross of Nations in a few weeks. We should at least agree that Team America will clean house and win that Race.
MotoXscript..Sometimes you are a piece of work, EX: You say this "Why you proudly put yourself on the no drugs/alcohol purity pedestal (are we supposed to admire you?)"
.Well did you forget that YOU asked me if I ever did any of that?? It's not like I just typed it for know reason.
.50%+ of the country that believes things are better than they were 4 years ago and that we are heading in the right direction.....Where did you hear that?
.You tend to take things i say to the extream of what they "could" mean and I believe thats where you fall short and then go on a big rant about it instead of asking for more details. It happens al the time on this site.
.EX; I am glad Barcia did not win the title... That would get people mad at me.. but if i say I am Glad Baggett won it I am OK...See what I mean? so when you say "but display not an ounce of christianity or sympathy in your ability to, even from the smallest of margins, recognize there are those out there who genuinely need help in this world is truly odd. "
.That is a joke at best!! How did you come to that conclusion?? you could have saved yourself a LOT of typing by just asking where I feel safety nets should be used but instead you think you know How I feel and go off about it. ...ODD
.I must say you seem quite full of yourself and then you tell me I think I am 100% right...Hmmmmm
.as for the MXD I think it will be a tough one but for sure we have 3 good guys wile most other teams have 2 good guys and 1 so so guy at best. We may not win a moto but should win the overall.
to lighten the mood a little!! LOL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO2eh6f5Go0
Read some papers, look at some polls, turn on the News (other than just FN) talk to people other than your Republican friends, BillC. The Country is leaning toward Obama as a better choice overall, be it about taxes (which Romney still refuses to discuss beyond more than 2 years past)
or foreign policy (of which the only substantial conversation Romney COULD HAVE is which Cayman Island is harboring his U.S. income Tax-evading fortunes),
or Health Care (a plan on which Obama drafted his own based on the Massachusetts RomneyCare model which Mitt is trying desperately to ignore and take no credit for because Republicans don't like it).
or his 47/50 rating as a job creator while Governor of Massachusetts...
I could go on but it would take pages and pages.
Re: Your almost total 'abstinence', you didn't just offer us a 'No', I don't drink or smoke, etc'; you made a big deal about it; went on in specifically (rare moment for you). As I've said before you should re-read your old posts. You're just like many Republican candidates who try to make a statement today, which is then contradicted by a video or audio statement made in the past.
You ARE, extreme, BillC. Very Extreme. Can't you see it in your own ramblings? The way you present yourself is so crystal clear. You don't camouflage yourself one iota. In your mind, you're 'right' and therefore everyone else is 'wrong'. It's there in between the lines of every point you make. You are as blind as anyone I've ever met about your own point of view. I gotta' say, it's a mildly amusing 'read' as you continually water down your own POV with your lack of awareness about your own undetected misgivings with respect to your own arguments. You go on and on with your 'everyone needs to do it themselves..., your money is your money... and only after someone points out your imbalanced approach to making your point do you try to reclaim your position of enlightened understanding, the pluses and minuses, the good and bad 'totality' of an issue.
Ever thought of constructing a well-rounded argument/POV that acknowledges your entire stance first, before launching into this political ocean of a topic ? No, of course not. You can only operate on what's in front of you in the moment. You insist on laying the blame on others for your lack of preparation and depth of any topic's specifics.
How is telling me I'm full of myself because I make my points known (as if you don't?) and seem bent on branding you the '100% right outlook' guy even relevant to this conversation? That doesn't make any sense. We're both carrying some extra ego baggage or we wouldn't even be having this conversation. But I digress: you're double-standarding yourself again BillC; grabbing at straws again because you don't know what else to say. It's about self-awareness, pal: get some.
I thought Barcia would turn the corner in the second half of the series but it never happened. Glad he won the final Moto of the year. Some satisfaction in that for the guy. I think he will be very successful in the 450 class within a few years. I was pulling for Tomac to come from behind for the title. I believe he was the fastest guy in the second half of the year. His riding style is like a slightly-more-in-control 'Bob Hannah' from back in the day. (Got to see Hannah and Decoster Duel at Red Bud and a few other tracks back when the Trans-AMA series was held in the fall).
In the first half of the season Baggett's ability to pull the pin at the 15 min. mark and say "see ya later" to the other 39 riders was incredible to watch! His ability to get refocused and win the championship, to keep his eye on the big prize made him deserving of the title. I also think we have 3 very strong riders for the MXoN (Oh my God, BillC: we agree on something!!!). I think Dungey will grab a win and at least one (maybe both) of the other guys will too. Can't wait.
'Saint' BillC, Did you not have a beer, smoke any grass, etc., in college? Why is this so relevant to you? Obama admits such lapses in judgement. People try things, wise up- and move on. Has your life been error/mistake free? .... Nope, NEVER have tried any drugs and all the alcohol I have tried would not fill a 8 oz glass.and Like I said i was not condeming obama for being a drugie just how the media over looks it.
.You say to that simple answer... "Re: Your almost total 'abstinence', you didn't just offer us a 'No', I don't drink or smoke, etc'; you made a big deal about it; went on in specifically (rare moment for you)"............Thats making a big deal out of it to you?? WOW
.Every Poll i have seen shows obamab's job approval in the 40's so like I said I don't know where you heard it's over 50%. Also I don't take much stock in the polls because when you look deeper into them you see they weight one side or the other to get the #'s where they want them.... did yoy see the big hubub about Gallop getting sued by obama over polling?? Most polls are skewed. Take the Polls in Wisconsin before the recall election, How did they turn out?
.Any way I really feel if we could talk I could do a better job explaing my self, I type to slow and spell like crap and don't have a lot of time to respond so I try to say it to short and quick and something gets lost.
. Either way Moto rules. Never been a barcia fan cuz of all the crap he has pulled over the years especially in france last winter!! he seems better the last few months so if he can keep it up I will give him props. I would LOVE to see the Dunge win a moto over 222, if he could pass him for the win ever better!! Glad they will be there for over a week to get ready this year.
SO @ motoXscript, after the attacks yesterday on us and 4 of us americans died unarmed, whats your say now?,your prez obama kept sayin im sorry ,so sorry to the radical islamists,,The next Prez said as a american WE DONT HAVE TO SAY SORRY!!!,,for the radicals that kill americans
Also it looks like they new something was going to happen on the 11th and did NOTHING about it.
good deal. weimer proved himself over these last couple green years. so glad not to see poto on red
Mikeo, The President did not apologize..., Romney responded for Political Reasons (votes) and has since been widely criticized, from the left and the right, for His out-of-touch negative comments issued BEFORE The President said anything. Romney is clueless about foreign Affairs/Policy and demonstrated it clearly yesterday with his comments about the tragic attack in Lybia. Check a few different news sources and you will find this to be true.
Also, His constant criticizing of the President for 'apologizing' (unfounded)is simply a bald-faced lie. The 'apologizing' line is another taken-out-of-context, vote-for-Mitt-tactic, aimed at those who only follow politics during the last 75 days leading up to an election.
He's out of The President's league. Romney has no detailed platform/specifics for change; only talking points regarding national and international policy making. His FOX News poll numbers are even going down hill.... I checked.
BillC, Just like Condoleezza Rice in the months leading up to 9/11/2001 when she new knew about eminent threats against America but failed to persuade the Cheney/Bush Administration to act accordingly....? Not quit the same thing.
I agree Barcia has (in the past) been a bit of a hot-head but He seems to be reigning it in and riding (and interviewing) with a lot more maturity in the last 6-8 months. Maybe LaRocco sent a message/kicked his A$$ in the back of the 18 wheeler, early in the year). Agreed, (sensing a trend here) the week of being there prior for our guys to get ready for the 'MXoN' will help a great deal.
Cairoli and a few others will be tough over there, but I think Dungey will be better; maybe Barcia and Baggett too, based on how fast some of the 250 lap times were (vs. 450's) at many of the nationals this year. Then again it's a 'sand' track which as you know, 'saps' momentum... and there's always the weather factor....,will be interesting no matter what.
MotoXscript...good post mostly but come on now obama says things all the time for Political Reasons so don't be to hard on mitt, Also I would not say " Romney is clueless about foreign Affairs/Policy " because obama's record is not so hot. He said he would talk to Iran and how is that working out after 4 years?? did you see the interview Bill O did the obama back in Feb11?? Bill told him this was going to happen and obama said no no, its fine, we are talking ect?? Bill was 100% right and obama got schooled because you can't talk with these people, it has been tried for 100 years!! They DON'T CARE!! They have no regard for their life let alone ours!!! can we agree on that too seeing how we are on a roll?? LOL
I agree BillC (uh oh, here we go), they all say things for political reasons; especially this time of an election year. But I just don't see the out-of-context, shoot-from-the-hip recklessness on the left they way I believe it happens from the right.
I've actually watched BillO a lot over the years... one of the best sitcoms on TV (yuk-yuk). Was that the Interview where O'Reilly barely let the President get-a-word-in, edgewise? In my opinion, O'Reilly does not really conduct an in interview when he talks with anyone opposing his own views. He seems to have a list of questions that he rapid-fires at the 'guest' and then if he gets in over his head or is asked (back) something he'd rather not answer/deal with, O'Reilly quickly jumps to the next question or a commercial.
I agree (what's happening here?), many of 'those' countries like Iran are uncivilized in many respects. I think the President is trying to fight the good fight in the name of peace and trying not to stoke the fires in that region which could lead to more war(s). We cannot spend more money on such senselessness and certainly cannot afford to loose any more American lives (soldiers). The politicians (who don't actually have sons & daughters in the military) decide these things and seem to forget that there are real families out there with sons and daughters fighting for the rest of us and some of them never get to come home.
WOW.. carful before you know it you will be saying BillC is an OK dude!! LOL
. as For Bill O, Yes he does cut people off but I agree with him on why he does it, Is there ANYONE in the GOV that can just answer a simple question without talking for 15min?? He does not have time for that and tries to get answers and if they are just babeling on and on ya need to cut in and press them a little. i think it's good and he does the same to REP's as he does to the DEM's. He was VERY hard on Bush over many things and gave obama a LOT of time before he started getting on him, he really did. He would read letters every night the first few years obama was pres from people getting on him for giving obama a pass and he said you have to give him time to see if what he is doing works, Now he gets on him because wth unemply #s still well over 8% (15% real numbers) when obama said he would fix it well he has not right?
Hey, BillC. I was traveling part of last week. Yeah, in spite of your right leaning, propaganda induced beliefs, you're probably an okay guy. Funny how in your blog riding pic, your wearing 'Blue' (?) and in mine I'm wearing 'Red'. I think you're an East coast guy? True? I'm now a West-coaster (transplanted from Indiana 20+ years ago). My pic is from Red Bud, summer of 1978 or '79 on a 78RM125... Still the best track in the world IMO! Looking for an old one out here to build up for some vintage racing...it will be a fun project for my 8 year old son to work on with me too.
