is that, mike shoemaker,former team tamm racer,and indian dunes wrecking crew! he was smooth fast and a nice low key guy as i remember.what happened?
That's our Mike, he lost his hard fought battle with a rare form of lymphoma (blood cancer). As with his racing he valiantly battled to the checkered flag. He is and will always be a winner and our personal hero. Godspeed, my sweet brother...........
dear, linda so sorry for your loss. i used to watch mike race at the dunes all the time. i was an int. rider and would always watch the pros. hope you get some love from his fellow racers. holley ,wageman,locey,cline,heisser,omara, hannson ,zahrt on&on;. the guy was a solid competator,quiet and un assuming.boy it really hits home how short life can be.all us racers from that time are 48-55 now.
