First time I rode that trail it was a "follow me dude" suggestion. I had no idea what I was getting into. I made it but it took the rest of the day to peel my fingers from the grips of my CR500. Done it a few times since, but its now in my "been there, done that" acomplishments. Too old for that crap anymore.

That was good! I dont know if I could have ridden that? On the comment about water on the brakes I was doing that in the 80's and people laughed at me?Also I kept my gas on ice had to tune the bike for it. and used panty shields on my goggles, I was ahead of my time.

OMG look at 1st vid at 1:59. Looks like he is riding on a big booty biach. that track is definately on an African diet. Skinny like a mo. I wonder what would happen if they raced national there. hmmm. Mike Alessi would go 24-0.

That Shane Watts is the real deal! Even though he's not racing anymore he seems to be livin' the life, ridin' his dirt bike all over North America.
Cant wait to saddle up this weekend!
Thanks Mr.Watts!
P.S. My dream vacation would be railin' trails in Colorado with my Bro's!

Wow, That is some trail riding. More like a high-wire act, with no net.
@Tonewall: Because you mentioned Canyonlands, have you ever ridden around the Slick-Rock Area outside of Moab, Utah.

Shanes has won multiple Australian enduro and motocross titles. He was the outright winner of the ISDE in 1998 on a KTM125. World enduro champion in 1997 and 2000 GNCC champion using every bike from the KTM range. Most memorable was turning up to a GNCC event with a bald rear tyre and a bike still dirty and un prepared from the last ride. Every one was puzzled and Shane just told them that he had run out of time to do the bike maintenance, he went out and won the event. He also turned up to a Australian supercross event on a EXC 2 stroke and raced the event with the headlight on!

He's the real deal and a genuine nice guy to boot.
