Dude had the race in the bag if he didnt crash. U rock 26!
I thought I read that he didn't crash, but stuck his foot out for a corner and jammed it into the ground resulting in a tibia plateau fracture.
o Other: James Stewart crashing out of both motos
If not for issues a lot of guys could have/would have won the first moto, JS, JW, MB
@21MotoRules
JS didn't crash out of both motos, he finished 9th in the first one. Just crashed out of the second...
I think the biggest surprise is JS7 racing Dilla I think he's only had one good race there that i can remember. It's one of the most technical tracks and it's his first race back from injury. Just my two cents but I think he need the MA800 approach don't ride out of his comfort zone. I'm actually felling sorry for him the amount of times he's hit the dirt this year.
BillC I hope you had a good time at Southwick, I didn't non of my buddies wanted to go. (I didn't want to be the lonely guy walking around by myself) LOL
Did you go to Unadilla?
LOL. C'mon guys they asked for the biggest suprise. How in the heck is James crashing both motos a suprise. Really its commin to the point where its a fact
How about a report on Zach Bell?? Why hasn't anyone said a word about
his nasty crash in the 2nd moto?
@motomtbr33 - that makes sense to me. I have had tibial plateau fractures in both of my legs (separate times) and neither one involved a crash. Rather, it was a result of jamming my leg into the ground.
Bubba's putting on weight. It might not be fat, he could be bulking up, but either way that doesn't seem to be a good direction for motocrossers. Motocross is way too turbulent, extra weight doesn't help.. and particularly when you hit the ground, it causes higher impact forces and more breakage.
He should have stuck with Aldon Baker. Aldon's program makes all his guys lighten up.
Motomtbr33 and n2motox I read that too. Sucks for him. But hey, n2mx, I broke both of mine (15 breaks each) at the same time. And that sucked for me! It's called bilateral tibial plateau fractures. Coming home from too much fun Early AM July 5 1985. Went to Spring Creek that year in a wheel chair! Price paid for riding with an intoxicated individual. On the bright side, I haven't had to have either replaced yet. Someday...
@SpottedMarley
I agree, hes putting way to much weight,and thats causing alot more weight on the front end of the bike which is causing him to always loose traction of the front end and face plant almost all of his wrecks are because of that. And i always asked myself why he got rid of aldon baker that guy is a legend and awesome trainer.
James needs to lose weight, get a trainer like aldon baker, and stick his cell phone somewhere so he cant touch it and just stay focused on motocross/supercross. the world would be better off.
JaminGeorge Southwick was good, Was going to ride the bikes up to the Dilla like every year but my buddy got busted up road racing so could not ride up.Did not feel like making the 400mi round trip alone starting out in the rain on top of it. I refuse to drive up after going to the races on a bike!! I can get in and out in min's instead of over an hr sometimes in a car LOL
PS you should have told me I would have met up with ya at Southwick!! Hung out with Doug Henry for a wile too.
Oh I should have got in touch with you I could have rode the old 79 GS1000 out.
Sorry about your buddy.
Next year i'll go no matter what. I still can't get enough moto.
Later
SpottedMarley and FAST450F...I will agree with you on one thing and that is that James should have never fired Aldon Baker....He is the best trainer in the industry....however your fitness views are a bit askew...Aldon does not force weight loss ....He promotes lean muscle mass ( remember that muscle is heavier than fat) cardio strength, and flexability....A properly trained rider could actually weigh more because of lean muscle but is not going to get hurt worse in a crash because of the added weight...strength and flexability will prevent injury before added muscle weight will induce it.....and weighting the front of the bike gives it more traction not less
What happened to Blake Baggett? Is in in title protection mode already?
hey JS7, quit trying to ride "smart and patient" go back to rippn all out. its the only way u know, ur outta ur zone ridn like RV,RD. put the fear back in em and show em why they gave u the title. this all started when they said u could beat RC if u'd slow down. bs only way to do tgat and win now is to just out run em full speed ahead. OR JUST QUIT BRO,u've made ur mark
@Kawi567, yes, 'surprise' was really the key word there.
Damn!! THAT JUST SUCKED WHEN BYRNER WENT DOWN!!! shoulda given him a fill-in ride on behalf of Metcalfe over at the Yoshi Suzuki pits before he wrecked his leg!
