Is alessi Ok? What happened?
Oh CRAP!!! Weimer too? What's up?
Im not going to be a spoiler if anyone wants to watch it later, but alessi is fine. Weimer is fine, just look at the overall.
And Let The Stewart Comments Begin.............
My same day coverage on NBC ended up being a cartoon !!! What the heck !
Dungey Rules!!!!!! Ain't that right yzfsean? He's the Champion. Great raceing with many crashes today. Big ruts will humble the best of us.
Here it comes JS7 comment number one.James you might want to pick a rougher track than Lake Elsinore to practice on the week before Unadilla.
Congrats to Ryan Dngey 2012 Lucas Oil Motocross Champion. You can't really call out Stewart for crashing today as the ruts were brutal but fred has made a very correct statement.
that was funny, great effort by all our riders
it says that 450 moto 2 is supposed to be on nbc local channel at 3pm but it was not does anyone know whats up with this there tv schedule is so screwed up
Yes Yes Yes. Dungey win the CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Congrats Ryan u deserve it buddy. And oh yeah suck it the toothperry
People were saying KTM would the downfall of RD5's career...well so much for that prediction. Actually KTM cleaned up all day. Also congrats Phil Nicoletti for 7-11 on the day on his own dime.
If anyone ever read the test report on the MXA website, they said the Dungey's factory KTM is the best Works bike they have ever ridden. Mucho Congrats to KTM for a banner day at Unadilla.
Dungenator is a effin stud.Very focused. He has grown in me for just true grit..All these guys that travel and even qualify are badasses.
This coming from a REED fan.
Congrats Ryan, Roger and the team from the janitor to the brass.
Well done
I meant on..lol
Yo Honda, let Nicoletti who has been on red all season ride the 450 now that Hahn is out. He has the speed and is deserving of it.
The Yamaha that Stewart could not ride finished were ? I m thinking that excuse that its the bike not the rider needs to end because you could put either of the Ryans on any bike and they would be up front !!! So its all rider good or bad !
15TH Overall guys.... thats where your loved JS7 would be today..... Imagine if this was the MXoN that everyone is whining that he isn't a member of this year.
The USA Would Loose.
Stewart is deadly. Possibly deadly to himself. I love watching the guy race because he's such an animal. Eating taco bell and impersonating law enforcement does not lead to championships. RD would have won this championship on any bike, even MA's privateer 450 or the KTM350 or a husky. Give RV barcia's bike for Des Nations. KTM undeniably makes the best trail bikes and now they make one of the best MX bikes. Can't emphasize how much going from a wrf450 to xc350f has helped my riding. I'm a KTM fan and glad to see them bring one home for the team. All these bikes should have electric start soon. Can't wait for a fuel injected 2 stroke. KTM sells a bike for every racer and it shows with their sales especially bush bikes selling bikes to the people with the real money.
Damn fine rides on a difficult track by RD1 .and the ( 'new unproven' ,i guess we can now stop using that one ) KTM....Honest congrats Champ..also a GREAT day for Tickle...excellent rides........".I think the amount of races now crashed in and NOT finished by Havoc7 has pretty much canceled out the speed and past glory days" , signed dwindling fanbase and highly disappointed race bike and team........myself i'll be mighty glad when RV2 ,CR22 and the Duck returns....
...............
James the lawn dart Stewart. James should take a page out of Lance Armstrong's book (it's not about the bike) what is his excuse now? does his wrist still hurt? Is he not use to the Suzuki? He thinks he is still on the Yamaha? Let's face it, he crashes any thing he rides. Might it be him???? Oh well he makes a real nice highlight reel for TV.
Different Teams, Different bikes but the results are always the same..Out of excuses now ...... Whats the dilla dirt taste like # 7 ???
Next.....
Word is JS dislocated a finger. I'm guessing it's the last we'll see of him until SX.
I really wanted him to do well and at least give RD some competion for the last three races.
Loved the track and the races. Really looked slow and rough. Just the way I like it. Too bad about JS7's finger, Go Dungey! This has been an awesome outdoor season. Love the comments and congrats to JS7 for actually trying to race both races. It is about time. Tape up the finger and come on back. No more broken bones for anyone else though, the racing is done in the 450's, come back and put on a show! "For the fans Bubba"
Durn. All those practice laps at Elsinore just went swirling down the toilet.
Brayton 12th overall on a factory bike....um, yeah.
Yea nice ride for austin howell61 with a 14 over all on his own dime.
Barring injuries, the 450 class could be good in 2013!
Wiemer on a factory KAWI. Should give that bike to Wilson next year. In fact I'd rather see Alessi on it. Will be a crazy series next year with Wilson and Barcia added to the mix. Even better if tomac moves up.
Some of these comments on JS were a little harsh but I would agree he has turned out to be a disappointment to his fans. It's pretty tough to win races and championships when you're always on the ground or laid up in a hospital bed. His riding style isn't sustainable for an indoor series let alone twice the points missed per weekend in an outdoor series. Unless he makes major changes, he'll never be a threat; individual spoiler at best. Lastly, I think his best years are behind him.
One word, asterisk.
Watching moto 2 with JS7 running in third.
Goes to commercial and I say "don't you f'ing crash during the break."
Back to coverage and some fat white dude holding his bike in the middle of the track.
"God damnit Stew..."
Is Stewart back on a Yamaha?? LOL I guees it wasnt the bike after all... Way to go Dungey.. Great job this season..
@persona--if you really belive that, you are an idiot!!!
I have always said it was not the bike and faced ridicule from posters on here. Will the yamaha bashers tell us what the problem is ? I have said for 3 years it was the rider. I still say it has something to do with too many hits to the head.
I also said it was not the bike and I guess this now is proving the point. However, James looked fuggin incredible in the first moto until he crashed. His bike set up looked killer and he was flat moving.... And then he wasn't. I was getting close to being a Stewart fan (not a Stewtard though) because he showed so much heart at the start of the season, switching brands, racing for free, and just kicking some butt. Gotta say though, I hope he is OK, but he needs to slow down and smooth out a bit to go faster. Going really fast is great if you can do it for the entire race. If you can't, then you need to slow it down a bit and let the race come to you.
Dungey is hands down the champ and deservedly so. I wonder if it would be OK to call him the "Fastest Man on The Planet" if he kills it at the MXoN? Wait, lets not jinx the guy!
Nicely done RD5! A true class act!
Watching JS these days reminds me of Pastrana.
Flashes of brilliance and incredible speed followed by spectacular crashes.
First of all, before any other comment: CONGRATULATIONS DUNGEY/DECOSTER/KTM what a good association, what a nice bike and what an umbelievabale professional team organisation! Really happy for the Dungey family, friends and fans.
Someone needs to pick up Derek Anderson !! He is a great rider for being a true privateer. He cracks the top 20 almost every race !!! he needs a good ride!!!!
