I grew up riding in the same hills that Kyle use to from time to time. This dude had mad lines over cliffs, clearing mountainside ravines that would leave riders thinking "he's friggin nuts". Yet its funny how sometimes there is never any mention of how amazing and insane these guys are at just "play riding". I know we all love racing, but any of you who had the privilege to grow up riding with a top "AMA" Pro knows what I'm taking about..this guy was ridiculously fun to watch. Cheers to Kyle!

Grew up in Michigan way back. There were a bunch of local tracks and then these gravel pits. Brian Swink would own these places. I remember going out to the pits and you'd see these tracks: once to check it out ... then a bit more... and then send it. Unreal distances...

Everyone talked about it. Legend. Folklore.

Old man now, but those times are still the richest mx era in my dilapidated mind.

Yeah. The real dudes at the highest level aren't even human. Bending math and physics...

Yea I as well grew up braappppin in the same hillz as old Lewi$. By far one of the best technical/free rider in the world. He would put 99.9% of even the top freestyles to shame. One time we were hitting this jump pretty good size basically a big table but the down side was about 20ft and the lip was about 10feet tall and this crazy @$$ Lewi$ pulls up on his Noleen/Sizzler Yamaha and hits this jump backwards. He launches off the landing and does the fastest whip I have ever seen and then lands perfectly on this steep @$$ lip that was pretty much straight up & down. The dude is straight unbelievable. I have mad respect for Kyle Lewis on the bike & off the bike. The good old days.
