Can't help to notice the aluminum gas tank - but they mentioned nothing of it? Is that stock, or just a test bike thing?
A proper amount of information, and in my humble but informed opinion, this was the best intro so far. Not just a love fest on "how *awesome* it is, dude!" but more of a read-between-the-lines reparte about the bike that put it in a very good light.
Still think that that the bike was styled by the Alessi's bike designer - whoever it was, they have deep artistic angst that they need to vomit into some other sport.
Well done, good editing, and the music tempo blended with the slowed down footage. Not my taste in bands, but my hats off to the RacerX technical crew that put this video together. Very well done - the best I have seen anywhere!
Suzuki’s unique aluminum tank looks rad and always has us drooling over its factory ambiance. The fuel capacity is 1.6 gallons. And the width of the side shroud where it meets the seat was changed slightly to make for a more seamless transition when moving around on the bike.

this is the 4th year for the aluminum tank on the 250. Definately looks cool. I remember the track owner questioning me about the tank on my 08 450 and giving me a hard time and told me" No factory bikes allowed" because I pulled the holey on him...and I was a vet beginner, he was a vet pro. needless to say, he almost lapped me by the end
When they switched to fuel injection in 09 they started using the aluminum gas tank!
