Eleven 10 Mods Signs Mike McDade

Monday, August 6, 2012 | 11:20 AM

After eight rounds of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, Eleven 10 Mods has signed Mike McDade to compete in the 250 Class for the remaining four rounds of the series.

“Weʼve known Mike for a while now and have been watching him these last few rounds,” said Chad Sanner, owner of the Eleven 10 Mods team. “We saw what he did on basically a stock bike at RedBud and Millville and felt like it was time to bring him on board full time for the remaining rounds. It just fits and makes sense with our mission of helping local kids”

“Iʼm excited for this opportunity,” said McDade. “Iʼve struggled earlier this season with a few other programs and Iʼm really excited to be on a great bike and a good program so I can show what I can really do these last four rounds of the outdoors.”

McDade is the East Coast Arenacross Lites champion for 2012 and will be under the Eleven 10 Mods tent starting at Southwick. Mike joins Alex Martin as the second rider on the Eleven 10 Mods team for the final four rounds. “I would like to thank my personal sponsors, Shane Shipley, Motocross Ministries, Scott, and a big thank you to Doug and Mosites Motorsports for stepping up these last four rounds.” said McDade.

Eleven 10 Mods team is based out of Uniontown, PA and would like to thank their sponsors for their help and support this year including Morgantown Powersports, RideMPS.com, Renegade Fuels, Kicker, RX Excel, Talon, Dubya, CV4, Leo Vince Carbon Fiber, Total Image Autosport, Vortex Ignitions, Xceldyne Valvetrain, 180 Decal, K&N Filter, Dunlop, Crank Works, CW1, FMF, Motion Pro, ICW, Wiseco, Motorex, Zeta, Moto Tassinari, Galfer, Cycra, Engine Ice and J27.

Good for McDade, but what happened to Nicoletti? I heard he was running a 450 the rest of the season? Curious if Eleven10 let him go or if he walked because he was fed up with issues there...

^ Ya what he said. What was the story with Nicoletti? Did Martin ever take him out like he said he wanted to?

I too am wondering the same thing. Perhaps E10 Mods just didn't want to start a 450 deal?
