Not sure he can speak without saying "awesome". I lost lots of respect for him after his crybaby hissy fit at the Houston SX.
@ryanwagopoto, I think the Bercy SX may have been an even lower moment. However, since being under the tutelage of Stanton, Barcia has:
Improved his results;
Crashed way less, if hardly at all;
Been more consistent indoor and outdoor;
Won a SX Lite Title;
Been more gracious in podium speeches; and,
Gotten his haircut.
Anyone willing to make positive changes deserves a break and recognition for the change. Like every one of us, behavior modification is a life-long endeavor related to every aspect of our lives.
Jonr290- I agree and am becoming a big fan
I agree, JonR290. Barcia has made some questionable decisions in the past, but he has obviously benefitted greatly from Stanton's influence. While some young riders have shown some immaturity in the lites class, it's good to see that some are willing to listen to older, wiser veterans who can help walk them throught the minefield of success at an early age. Barcia seems like a different person, showing respect and restraint. Now, if someone could do the same with Bogle...
Gota be hard to be going that fast and then have Baggett blow past and put 10sec on you in a few laps. You can tell he is not happy about it and Stanton's gota be working OT to keep him calm.
It's a good thing you guys don't watch the NHL, or your panties would be forever in a wad.
@Smartypant$ - sounds like you know a thing or two about having your panties in a wad. lol
