Without taking anything away from Blake's great performance, it seems to me that Baggett's bike is making more HP than the GEICO bikes. Time for Honda & KTM to get the dual injector technology going.
the kawis probably don't make more hps, but bagget being 20 - 30 lbs lighter helps.
@ carlsbad
Still dont care what they say...............I'll still give them puncks the business.....
I don't know which one is right and which one is wrong, but Canada and Nelson didn't finish exactly the same! :^)
All I can say is
WOW !
No horsepower difference Blake has a California tuck in his right wrist.
OMG Carlsbad, have you not noticed that Bagget is like 90 lbs and everyone else is 130-140? Its not HP man, its lack of rider weight.
Stop the EXCUSES, bagget won, deal with it ....No excuse is a good excuse...
@ unforgiven umm bagget didnt win, tomac did...
@ Nealio
Looks like you have Scub - This at a big disadvantage with that 45 cool hold him at bay till James gets back.......LOL !!
Ridiculous with these flaggers!!!!!!!!
Another case were the sanctioning body should have a traveling crew but this will never fly……… I used my own funs after retiring and did some work at 7 of the Nationals on the circuit there were 4 of us pros, to local pro’s that lived about 30 minutes of each other in Ohio, some were paid by AMA some like me just got some perks from local promoters………This was a classic case of some fat slob standing at a platform overlooking low area at the crest of a jump BS’ing with other just watching the race. Quote. “Having the best seat in the house.” Not at all in tune with what is happening. This is at the front of the race. COME ON MAN! I can here it now, if someone would of crashed into Baggett, luckily the rider was intelligent to know what the F is up and run back to the fat slob. He should of continued all the way and beat the dud. I would of then, then get back on the bike, that’s another reason why I’m were I am & he’s on the track……Thank God no won got hurt………..Get a traveling crew………..
There is always a lot that happens on the track that TV can't or won't show.
Wonder what happened in the 2nd moto beteeen Tomac, Barcia, and Baggett that caused Baggett to say that the "racing was dirtier than it needed to be"?
it's pretty obvious if bb12 gets a good start ( top 35 or so ) he's probably going to win unless he somehow takes a wrong turn and gets lost . I'm not sure what "dirty" riding he was referring to though , especially after that move on barcia in the first moto. Barcia said he would have done the same thing then backpedaled and said he wouldn't have ( i pick would...and has ). Blake has never been shy about complaining about other riders "conduct" on the track, he stopped just short of accusing dean wilson of attempted murder at pala last year, I just wonder what he'd be saying if he was on the receiving end of that on. With that being said though, I think the only answers for beating him are probably illegal.
I've seen this year every race but Buddscreek, millvill, and redbud do to my own misfortunes,I keep my eye on the sort of thing even the JS7 crash........These guys are ham boning it for a shirt and a couple of bucks do you really think they are on the ball !!!!!!!!! Most are not>>>
sorry my operating system windows 7 is f'''ed up !!!!! plus I can only typr with my left hand couple fingers only right is in cast and sling..................Sorry for the mess
Baggetts move on Barcia in the second moto was one of scariest non crashes I've ever seen in my life! I thought for sure they were both going to be wadded up for the year! It absolutely looked like Bags was grabbing another gear in those whoops and hanging on. Dude has melons.
In order to get around some riders you have to go for it and Baggett does that. Have you noticed he is the only rider that can do this? In the 250 class there is no extra hiorsepower so you need a creative line and thought process. Baggett is like RV he don't mess around with you he has places to go, to the front!
I can see this dude on a 450 being incredible with his smooth fast style. Oh I forgot he is incredible on a 250.
The tops guys will transition well into the 450s. Some will make a name for themselves while the others will just settle in for the rest of their career.
It's hard to figure which ones will excel, but we do know that Barcia can do it.
How many of the others will make next year REALLY interesting.
What happened to Malcolm Stewart? Looks like he's going backwards in the standings. He's proving to be less impressive as expected. All the hype and then the let down. I think he needs a new trainer, or an attitude adjustment. He has obviously show some good speed, but like his older brother, he crashes out and doesn't provide the expected results.
BB12 will be fast on the 450 next year for sure. And with his mental approach to racing, he looks to be dangerous to the top riders for sure.
Wait, if we don't talk about JS7, we talk about his little brother? WTF? What results were you expecting? He's a 7-18 rider. (which is damn fast btw) And what hype?
@socalxr--That is all we heard or read about on this site before the supercross season, was "Mookie" this and "Mookie" that. He even has clothing deals that way better riders dont have because of Malcolmns big brother. And it kinda started outdoors as well, he got alot of camera time in the first few races until his results started to catch up with him. Its just that there are alot more deserving riders out there who didnt get the attention they should have and he has, and has never even podiumed I dont think.
baggets not riding 450 next year the onlytwo that are going up for sure is barcia and wilson
Talking about moving up to the 450's? I called Wilson as the next great 450 rider ohhh, 2 yrs ago? That depends on him though. We will see soon.
Bagget was going by the best riders in the world as if they were lappers. Those passes on Barcia were insane. He was making a statement with those punishing moves.
therealmofo - that's exactly what I meant. Just worded it differently.
