Reports: Tommy Weeck Injured
Friday, July 13, 2012 | 9:45 AMMultiple sources are reporting that Rockstar Star-Valli Yamaha fill-in rider Tommy Weeck broke his tibia and fibula practicing at Glen Helen yesterday. Racer X’s Chase Stallo reached Tommy via text message last night. “I’ve seen better days,” replied an obviously devastated Weeck.
Weeck also tweeted the following last night:
I'm sorry to let everyone down. Especially my team starvalli rockstar Yamaha. I can't thank them enough for the opportunity they gave me.
This one set in immediately. I'm devistated!

Oh no!!! Will it never end?
Get rid of the 450 and go back to the 125/250cc 2 stroke!!!!!!!! save the 4stroker for the woods!!!!!!!!!!
That is terrible. It's tough to like this sport sometimes. Heal up Tommy.
The sport is doomed with all the injuries and costs of four $trokes!!!!
he was really charging at red bud thats too bad he was looking fast!
I will admit I miss the tiddler class bigtime. Seems riders had to make the most of their powerbands / horsepower instead of managing the power. Not to mention a gate drop and the sweet sound.
2 strokes are best F' the rest
