Big News

Afther Tonus hold up Herlings so that seale could get a good lead herlings took tonus out at the gp of france. But in portugal mel pocock wanted to take herlings out (pocock tweet a few days before that he wil take out herlings in portugal) and held him up or wanted to take herlings out in the last 2 laps when poccock was in 7th and herlings in 1e when he was lapping Pocock and that s the way searle won. Afther the race there was a was a bigger problem the familie tonus and mechanics of monster did have a big problem going on with ktm herlings and it was not only talking going on,So now it s MONSTER against RED BULL

ITS NOT SEARLE vs HERLINGS ANNYMORE
ITS MONSTER vs RED BULL HERLINGS
Searle was laughin at the podium because he only lost 2 points to Herlings but if you wanted to be a world champion this way Searle than you don t diserve to be one.

@melpocock: Booking in for the Gp next weekend just to wipe herlings out for the lads and banter

Wow, Mel Pocock is a real piece of sh1t. OK, I´m the first to say Jeffery´s take out of Tonus wan´t fair, but why does this pommy MF think he´s gonna even the score sheet? Jeez he was racing in the EU MX2 class the week before, trying to promote himself at the expense of a bunch of amature kids, then he comes up with this cräp. Really, he should be slapped around the head. I hope Herlings, who is twice the rider Ärse(Po)dick(cock) is, sends him into the spectator area next time round.

Hey Euro guys .... um ... very interesting but cant you rant somewhere else. Taking out and getting taken out are (and always have been) part of MX ..... suck it up. In the meanwhile ...... Dungey is such a rock solid and head screwed on right kid ..... he's going to go so far (maybe not the most exciting to watch and he won't fill the tabloids with trach talk and drama) .... but he's just going to click off lots of fast laps and get points and championships. A good'ol fashion squeaky clean, hard working, talented, focused racer. And this De Rosa guy does great work .... I hope RacerX can keep him in their camp .... with his talent he could probably make great money elsewhere .. he is a real talent.

He was very cool, my boy is the one shown at 3:26, it was his birthday and all he wanted to was to go to High Point and watch Ryan race. He is still fired up about that and the fact Ryan told him happy birthday after the races were done and he gave out autographs.

Ryan's riding style is very smooth, fun to watch and he will have great longevity in this sport.

3 things DeRosa captured in this spotlight. 1- Motocross is an incredible sport. 2- The KTM’s are visually stunning. 3- Ryan Dungey is a world class brand ambassador.

The more I see riding RD the more I remember Jeff Stanton.
Perhaps the other RD has seen the same thing.
I was lucky enough to see JS at the MXdN in Gaildorf '89 and at Washougal '93.
When I saw RD in Franciacorta - first ride in MX1, the light turned on.
No flash, no nonsense - just smooth, fast and solid.
Complimenti, Ryan.

First time I've seen Ryan's dad in any of the shots, only seen his mom. They have done a great job raising their son to be a responsible member of society. Kudos to Mom and Dad. They must be super proud!!!!!!!!!!!!

@EveryMotoCounts - couldn't agree with you more.

Great interview! Dungey usually doesn't have too much to say on the podium... so glad to hear more of his thoughts and how much he loves the sport. Also glad to see a series of positive posts coming through!

This guy DeRosa is good! Davey: keep these coming!

A lot of up and comers could learn a few things from Ryan. He's a pro's pro. He shows up on time, ready to race, in shape, and he walks and talks like a professinal.

This sport has a lot of guys that still haven't really learned this; Grant, etc.

Gotta love Ryan Dungey. The guys a freakin animal. It too bad the only rider on the planet that can contest with him outdoors (RV) is out injured right now. Regardless go RD5 and stick ur name in those record books.

What a great thread of positive comments everyone! I agree, he and the other riders are all great ambassadors for the sport. We are fortunate to have a great group of riders/individuals representing our sport.

I have always maintained, anyone that disrespects the top riders (or any rider for that matter) is not a fan of the sport. You simply do not insult a top athlete in a sport without also insulting the sport in turn. If you come here to bash a rider you likely have far greater problems in your own life.

Dungey is an awesome guy. I've been at races where practices were abbreviated or totally skipped due to weather and while the other riders sit in their coaches and enjoy time off, he's out using the extra time to get more kids the autographs they want. Pretty awesome. Can you blame the other riders for not doing it? I don't think so. But that's another way Dungey shines above the rest. And it has been mentioned how smart his dad his. He hasn't pulled a Tony Alessi and been a total hindrance to his kids progression. I feel bad for Mike. He could've had an outdoor title by now I'd imagine if it hadn't been for his dad.
