Wait until MXON's at Lommel my friend. A certain Jeffrey Herlings will beat everyone on his 250F. Lommel makes Southwick look like hardpack.
BARCIA' BARCIA, BARCIA!!!!!! The haters are quiet so far, He looked good, and alot of guys struggled with the track. Fun race though.
theped26-- ONE guy?? Really? What about the other two?? Stewie, Dungey and Barcia (He is a great sand rider) Looks like a win for the US again to me.. Everyone thought Musquin would come over and win, or Roczen, before that it was Pourcel, Searle, and Rattrey, NONE of them took a title here. Its tougher than the Euro fans think it is. All out 100% the entire race, for 12 races.. In the heat and humidity. If they come here they better have thier big boy pants on...
And we have seen a 250f beat everyone before, It was a red head named Ryan Vilipoto, maybe you have heard of him..
Villipoto did indeed win on a 250F, but that wasn't in waist deep sand. He win beat Dungey and Stewart as well. I remember Mike Brown came over to Europe and didn't win a world title but he went back to the US and won. Yeah it's real easy in Europe.
Neterlands won't win MXoN's but individual status is also important. By the the way Searle won't win the European MX2 championship because he is competing in the World MX2 championship. Please get your facts right before commenting.
to "Jean-René-Helmut de la Rapapopulous":
Roczen and Musquin are champions and a champion is a champion!! Baggett call for is mom in 2011 MXoN! He saids: "Never see a track so tecnhical and so hard!" is words!
This year in Lommel Cairoli and Herlings gona wipe their asses with EUA! And moron is your father!
AIV26: just leave that dumb alone, he just a retard, last year he was all for Roczen who was coming to the US, now he is against him... This French stupid dumb has his brain turned upside down, I guess too much speed burned his him.
ajv26...... But did america still win, O thats right 7 in a row!! MxoN= Dungey, (stewart or alessi if #7 is out) and tomac bagget or barcia! BRING IT! Though to be honest, not being a Euro hater, but I do think that herlings is over-rated. If you put villo and dungey on any track, they will be up their, no matter what.
OMG!!! Tomac is the man! TO-MAC...TO-MAC....TO-MAC!!! Needless to say, I am VERY impressed. Great rides for a lot of those young guys. Hate that Baggetts great ride fell apart at the end. Great series.
P.S. Baggett openly states that he doesn't appreciate being called Chupacabra. Out of respect, Weege and Fro, please let it go. DC, weigh in on it and put a stop to it. Baggett is way too good, both as a rider AND person, to get crapped on.
nbc sports network coverage sucks. cant even close the show, I hope they speed replaces them next year.
to Green-59:
I´m not a american hater, and EUA win 7 in a row and I respect that, but Lommel is very very hard and I think Cairoli and Herlings can win there...
It's already a good thing that there is a TV coverage...so let's be happy about it.
About the races, here there are the fastest MX2 riders on the planet and there will be more to come. It's just bad when somebody, sorry, some retard, keeps talking crap about one or more of these guys who really make huge efforts to be at that level, too bad this person is on this forum where there are good and experienced people sharing their opinions. What about banning this person? Administrator??
Jason Anderson slowly getting back up to top 5. Is Wharton injured?
My God...is Jean-René-Helmut de la Rapapopulous in love or what. Give one guy a good ride one day and he is Superman, let him have a bad day and OMG what tyrash he is. Personally I think that his opinions are misguided. (Pourcel) for example. The worst part is having to read and listen to this trash on this magazines site. It would be so nice to have the site monitor the trash that is on here. There are plenty of hard working guys out there riding there asses off for our pleasure. Sometimes it takes years and years before a rider finally develops into his best.Lets not toss them in the trash while they are working so hard.. I have been around MX now since 1972 and it seems to never change. My guess would be that most of these opininators have never ridden a good MX bike, in fact, I would bet money on it.
@ Green - 59
Have you seen Herlings ride the sand?
People hating on Baggett? Really? Yeah, he didn't do so hot at the MXdN last year (to put it mildly). But that was ONE race.
Look at what he's been doing to the field this year. Making them look stupid. (American riders like Barcia too, not just the Euro contingent). He's not winning as much as he should because of his crap starts. But once he gets going, he just mows 'em down.
KITTY43: it's a pleasure to read your comments, I know that with people like you I could talk for hours about MX.
Jean-René-Helmut de la Rapapopulous
You might want to keep in mind that Roczen is racing most of these tracks for the first time where the US guys have seen them dozens of times......head over to Europe to the tracks Roczen knows and won a World championship on and things may be different......
Give the kid some respect.....he's really close to winning one and when he does he may get on a roll..
Bagget and Roczen both 3 -5, WTF?
Who finished 2nd in the second moto?
I agree with Ripdown. Roczen is getting familiar and it will just be time before he gets his W. Maybe not so fast on a title. I was impressed several years ago in Colorado at the MXDN . He went very fast on a track he had never been to. He also looked very fast at the last MXDN.
I never try to bash the Europeans. Mainly because of my age. I remember when the Europeans were good enough to cherry pick against the young Americans. Mainly in the Trans AMA series and the Inter AMA series. They were Gods. It was a real honor to be first American . That could have meant finishing 7th for the honor. Also I think one has to remember some of the countries or most are smaller than the state of Texas. Both on population and size. We should be better. We have more to choose from. Falta was one of the best riders I ever saw ride a motorcycle. Add Decoster, Noyce, Wolsink , Ake Jonson(spelling?) Robert, Velky , Mossiev, Aberg, Mikkola and tons I do not have time to name. There were so many. Remember the tide comes in and the tide goes out.
When the Europeans whooped on us they never mocked us when we were down. In fact they taught us how to go fast. Taught us about conditioning. I think we should have the courtesy to welcome the Europeans or anyone that wants to race motocross. The last couple of weeks we have a rider from Russia I believe. I know he is not winning but hope things are going well.
If you get too big of head it will not fit in your helmet and you will not be able to race .
Be a good host. They are are guests.
@CZrider - well said
Poor Roczen can't catch a break. Had another 250F win in the bag until Tomac ran him down late in the moto... and bull dogged his way around him. What a great race!
Look at this another way:
Roczen and Musquin are in their first year at the Nationals
In the forty years the Nationals have run, out of the 80 (250/450) National Championships awarded name an American rider that won the their first year.
Hannah / Smith / Stewart ????

@Jean-René-Helmut de la Rapapopulous : Your prejudice and lack of sportsmanship and respect for those how compete at this "World Class" level, are only exceeded by your ignorance of acceptable behavior in a social environment on a public forum.
You make it embarrassing for (all) others to even want to be associated as a true fan of the sport on the same boards you troll upon. "Seriously"
This year's 250 class reminds me of the 125 class in 1983. 4 guys in a slugfest. In '83 it was O'Mara, Ward, Barnett and Lechien. This year it is Barcia, Tomac, Baggett, and Roczen.
Great race today Tomac you are the MAN. How does K-roc lose a nine second lead?
The Europeans are just not use to putting the hammer down for 30 plus 2 even Roczen admits that. Every time the Roc puts in a hard ride he falls because he is not use to sustained balls out riding.
Hey Jimbo, RC won his first year and his last year, ten in a row to be exact.
HEY IDIOTS THIS IS AN ARTICLE ABOUT 250 OVERALL AT HIGHPOINT NOT AN ARTICLE ABOUT AMA MOTOCROSS VS GP MOTOCROSS, ANYWAYS BOTH SERIES RIDERS RIDE BETTER THAN ANY OF YOU IN THIS STUPID CONVERSATION.
Congrats to the Geico team!!! Looks like they are the new Monster Team!!!
Barcia and Tomac are an awesome duo. Wish Boggle did not get hurt.
As for Roczen and Musquin. They will have their day, probably sooner than later!!!
MANES Yes that would be a pleasure, lets figure out how to do that without getting all of these idiots ..Jean-René-Helmut de la Rapapopulous...who is this that you speak of ????the members of the most powerfull and richest team in the world; europeans world champions and prodigies roczen & musquin only 5th and 6th against the Americans kids (and at 40 and 47 sec. of the winner) It seems that you are including KTM!!!! Yes??? You have joined the one and only team that regards KTM in that way.. Possibly YOU are the total idiot. I have worked for KTM...I never saw any riches or power. Your a confused 14 year old, on here blabbering on and on as if you knew something. Put your mind to something more usefull, something that you can speak of intelligently. At the moment, your are a disgrace to this site and to the sport in general.
Kenny went down when he had the 9 second lead, which became about 3 when he got up. Otherwise he would have hate it! Go Dungey and Tomac!!!
@southernboy, I had read that too about BB12's nickname, but someone pointed out a couple days ago he has it listed on his bio on his website.Who knows maybe he just accepted it.Go figure
You're a failure, a Sarkozy attitude idiot who just deserve a chick in his b***t.
A drunk useless animal like all those pathetic losers who were wandering the Le Mans cicruit during the motogp race. Get the hell out here!
Wow Tomac, that was quite an ass kickin. All those guys are just charging. Amazing racing. Rest of you guys can cry about Euro this or that but Rockzen and Marv are doin just fine. Takes big balls to run that pace and although not "dominating", they are goin plenty fast. pretty effen awesome.
Didn't Dean Wilson win the MX Lites class last year and he's from Europe?
Congratulations to ET. See you at Budds Creek
@JimboMX374--You forgot one maybe two--Ryan Vilipoto----Ricky Carmicheal..
What a dumb! Go to school idiot, we need a good translator with you here. Another 14 years old loser who knows everything, what a waste of time. This is the guy who once wrote that Ward won a title on a Honda, the guy who was asking Reed to have respect: I think you should learn what that word means, since you are a real uneducated person
@Jean-René-Helmut de la Rapapopoulos: Do us all a favor and crawl back under that dung pile you oozed out from under and propagate with your blow-fly larve, until you have sprouted wings and fly one-way to, Peterbilt, Radiatorville for a nice (long) vacation.
"Bon voyage"
PS Miss you already...
Mr-Mx, I thought something was up and that wasn't you.not your style
I had a squirrel above my townhouse back in the day,it drove me crazy, good luck.
Dumb, you said Ward won a Supercross on a Honda some time ago, don't change things now. Then, I am not even a fan of Roczen, so don't keep talking crap
Just a coward like you is ashamed to tell everybody here from what country you are from, a real loser that's what you are, Roczen and Musquin are 2 against 38 Americans on their home soil, idiot, and they do good. Get a job lazy useless person.
I was really wondering too Mr MX. Like VistaJim wrote, that just wasn't your style. Good to know you don't have a split personality!
Just like to remind the Roczen haters, this is his first season on American tracks, in American conditions etc, so the fact he´s been top 3 in every round so far, speaks for his undoubted talent. Also, don´t foget, the kid is only 17 years old.
Just saying.

How about a little credit for Eli Tomac on his second moto charge WOW!
and Roczen thats the second one he's lost with 2 laps i doubt he'll let that happen again.
Hey euromike, why is it when Americans go to Europe for the MX Nations on strange tracks they always kick butts? Oh your boy is good no doubt but as long as those 3 Americans are around he will run for 4th place and like it.
EuroMike, you cant use the lack of track experience if the guy is getting fastest or close to the fastest lap times in practice.
While I will not make any garuntees, I certainly can see Roczen winning motos. That's not so far off in the future. Winning that 2nd moto (@ High-point) would have been a turning point for him. Too bad for him Tomac's momentum carried him from an average start right to the front.
As for MXdN, Going to Herlings' back yard is going to be a revalation for all if he's fit for sevice. Herlings = MXdN overall winner is VERY possible. Dungey MX1 / Barcia MX3 / Tomac MX2 is a good bet for the Chamberlain trophy, though.
Tomac & Barcia are on highs right now. They both have SX regional titles, Their bikes are (arguably) the best in the paddock and they are clearly fit & very fast. The momentum that those elements bring to their game is hard for ANYONE to compete against and yet Roczen is still right there. Until this weekend, he was the only guy on the podium for the first 3 races and in the volatile 250F class, 24 3rd place finishes (480 points) could add up to a title. I don't have the records in front of me but, 480 points is a lot for a 250F campaign.....probably enough for the title.
I have a feeling that Musquin might have taken Roczen to "In- n-Out" one too many times while getting acclimated to the good 'ol U.S.A.
I think I read that somewhere that Roczen was loving their food.
