Killer tecnique. he should train up for elsinore. go rhyno
That was ugly. Someone please tell me why RacerX continues to support this goon. I have kids entering the sport and I don't want them getting any sort of advice from a hot head like Hughes. Let a better ambassador of the sport give technical advice.
Ryno should race Elsi
hey gstine, how about you post your racing resume on this site and I'll take your expert advice. That's the reason Stewart is so fast, because he carries his speed better than anyone. Also it is kind of hard to pass when you just follow the guy in front of you. It is OKAY to think when you ride a motorcycle.
This guy is still super fast.I would like to see him try another national on a different brand of motorcycle.
I want to see him hit some more Nationals, too.
I want to see him hit the ground at another national!!!
I agree full out with gstine!
Ryan is still wicked fast. Funny how someone who could never qualify could call him goon. At the Vet Nationals he rips it up.
@ gstine and the other idiot. Whatever you think of Hughes as a person, that was some of the most sound advice I've ever seen on any site, anywhere. There's been a bunch of super-kooky riding tips out there lately. Hughes knows his s*** and also obviously understands how the body works and how it should work on the motorcycle. Most guys throwing advice around don't get that part of that, unfortunately.
GSTINE, obviously you don't either. Hughes may behave questionably at times (I'm not a huge fan of his, either), but his knowledge of the sport and of training is some of the best out there (this is proven). Hopefully, you can at least recognize that and use it accordingly with your kids... maybe teach them not to be ignorant judgemental a-holes that bash guys in a public forum, also (?).
@flilthyanimal: and you're not bashing people your don't know and being ignorantly judgemental on a public forum?
The guy preaches this being a complete athlete idea. Fitness, nutrition, and mental balance. A person that gets into dog cussing, brawls at a vet event, where there is nothing at stake, is not very mentally stable, and is not someone I personally want to take advice from.
I agree, the guy is a wicked fast rider, and could beat my panties off. I just feel that there are way better ambassadors of the sport that would garner way more respect when it comes to giving technical advice. Guys that have just as good or better records. (David Pingree, Tim Ferry, Mike Brown, Mike Larocco, John Dowd) lots of guys.
Sounded like sound advice to me, but then again, I don't know much because I'm a novice. I look good though because I have a good job and can afford the AWESOME GEAR!
: P
Because the dude's the jawbone of an ass, but obviously talented enough to take the corner the way he did, he's an unreliable source? From my point of view, he's an infallible rider. An odd man, but an incredible rider.
Infallible rider?
WTH?????
The guy just crashed out at his first race of 2012!!!!
