Pull the horshack
If that doesnt work knock em' off the bike and beat em' up, Eh Ryno.
Ewwwwwwwwww.. running the #4-- thats gonna start a shit storm on here.
He's a good rider...but hard to take what he says to heart about fundamentals when he crashes twice in a national
this guy is an idiot, talks crap on neck braces, starts crap with other racers, acts like he is some know it all and can race on the highest level again and do good, all he is doing is trying to promote his stupid ryno power agenda.
#4 is for one person and one person only!!!!!! We all know who that is........GOAT.......
Great tips, but you forgot the importance of making it out of the first turn and lining up for both motos so you can get to some corners.
I'm not a Hughes hater, I just have a dickish sense of humor
holy $hit. every one of you idiots that posted above me could never dream of having half the success or moto knowledge ryno has. shutup and go back to your lame desk jobs, losers.
I still think Ryno is a great rider. I was a big fan of his back in 1996-2001 and lucky enough to talk to him at Leipzip supercross 1998, Germany, which was extremely cool for an 15 year old danish motocross fan - Roger decoster was there too, and lived at the same hotel as me and my friend- they both took good time to talk to me and my friends, signing our caps and we had pictures with them..
Ryno won MXDN for US a couple of times, was a front runner in mx naionals and finished 2nd a few times, very close to the leader... qualifies in 18th at hangtown so he still got speed.
I don`t now what happened to him at the race other than going down in first corner, but thats racing. sometimes it`s not your day... IMO still a cool rider and very fit trainer and rider,
Yeah I'd really like to see Ryno hit some more Nationals, make it through the day without incident, see his fitness in action and see how he'd do without mishaps just for fun. The first crash which we only caught a glimpse of on television was an unfortunate way to start the day.
I don't understand the Ryno haters. Personally the guy seems like a nice/good guy and quite a bit above the average guy on a few different levels including mental/spiritual/intellect, not to mention fitness and skill on a bike, and I don't mean that facetiously. He has his head on straight but many others don't seem to understand that straightness and try to belittle him for no good reason beyond using that belittling to raise themselves in their own eyes.
And as for tips. We'll all take tips from anyone better than us at a local track and Ryno is likely way above that guy at riding a bike.
He raced a local Pro-Am once a year race motocross here in Michigan on ski hills that is well attended (probably around 1,000 racers) and more difficult and physically grueling than you would think. Ryno even commented the track was much more difficult than he had imagined. He not only destroyed everyone there but on top of that he ran 3 classes each day, and due to his level, his classes were 5 laps instead of the typical 3 or 4 of the other classes (approx. 10 min. laps). I was dying trying to finish just one class.
I didn't really meet him (a friend did) but I was able to observe him in the ski lodge. He was a quiet unassuming guy that kept to himself and he seemed more than happy to speak to anyone that came up to him.
Thanks for the tips, Ryno. I thought you fit a lot of good points into a short, and to the point video. I always appreciate it when top level pros share their skills and techniques with us.
I consider Ryno's tips are very helpful and that it's awesome he's willing to do it for us.
To those who feel compelled to diss Ryno - can you corner this smoothly and consistently? Are you as efficient on the bike as is demonstrated here?
Personally, I think anyone who's already mastered these techniques wouldn't be criticizing a video intended to help people become better riders.
(Sure wish my own skills were were up to this level....)
I can not stand this guy! I love how he started a fight and ended up loosing it! I think that it shows he doenst show respect by running the number 4.
