Nice new look. new red arrow looks slow and cant scrub
When are they going to replace the arrow with the GOAT or at least someone on a bike ?
Looks like the red arrow picked up a sponser.
Iso view is way better. This first person view makes me sick. Plus we cant really see what the track looks like. Bring back the original arrow
All I want to know is which track is getting yanked off the schedule after this year. Nobody's talkin'!
Cannot wait! two work days and a jury duty date away from throwin back some brews and watching some motos..on t.v of course. Wont see any live action until mx338.
Wicked cool. I love it.
Yeah don't like 1st person view makes it harder to realize where you are on the track. It looks like they changed the track alot too.
Who's this that can keep up to the red arrow? I don't care if it's practice!
Wow, this whole animated track deal is a great addition to the sport. Now having it for outdoors, it's at another level.
Super neato!
sweet! i cannot wait for the 250 class
First time outdoors...... Wait untill I get my set up haters!!!
was neat , but not too big a fan. Everytime it went over a jump, it was hard to see what it was. Kinda just like a little peak. I think the way the supercross was, would be much better used that way, but show the elevation changes.
Dude come on the track is all 1 line in turns. Should of made it more Supercross style lap time probably will be 450 class 2:09:00 thru 2:11::00 lites
KO22 has a great idea..... make it like the video game mx vs atv now that would be TIGHT!!
This one is alot better than supercross. This outdoor view has way more details. Also like the 1st person view. It gives you a realistic view of the angles of turns, elevation changes, distance of jumps and distance between straights and turns. I like how it adds realistic scenery at the track as well, such as the power lines, hills, and shape of the area
Does anyone out there know why they stopped racing at the original Hangtown track in Plymoth,CA?
@endoman38 As long as its not Unadilla, I think I would...I dont wanna think about it.
If they are going to yank a track.I hope it is Colorado. That track looks like it just sucks.
If they yank a track it should be Freestone, that track is probably the worst on the circuit. Lets get a race down in the south!
Honestly - would you all just go play MX Simulator!
http://www.mxsimulator.com - WAY better than an animated arrow (just sayin)
Red Arrow softened up his suspension, ditched the SX only deal, and is out for glory in the great outdoors! He'll get more comfortable once he gets hangtown under his belt.
Amazing that some of you guys are NEGATIVE...I am happy to see this...it gives a good understanding of the track.
Be happy that someone took money, time and effort to make this computer graphics....Good Work keep it up.
Shaw, Hangtown was thrown out of Plymouth because of drunken unruly fans invading the little town after the race, that was an awesome track.
it'll most likely not be freestone, if i had to guess it'll be steel city since its only a couple hours from high point @endoman38
Red arrow is only going outdoors because RV isn't racing. While I do like the overhead view of the supercross red arrow a little better it is cool that they have this to get a good idea of the layout for those of us who have never been there.
Shaw, just to add a bit more to what Claxton said from a locals standpoint and someone who used to race there, That part is true to a point what Claxton said, that was a different time in MX (think Nascar days) however the geographics were also a pain. Plymouth is located in the foothills south-east of Sacramento. At least 1-1.5 hours from Sac if not more. The roads were literally small country roads so you can imagine the traffic issues and impact on small the small towns, real small towns. Think gold miner type towns. Hangtown is actually called Prairie City OHV. It is about 15-20 min from downtown Sac. The suburb of Folsom and Rancho Cordova is starting to actually infringe on the Park so i'm sure we'll be hearing grumblings soon about traffic, noise etc... Sac is a very conservative city and region but the politicains are still from liberalville and I've heard some talk before but not lately. The economy slowed that down. Ok, that is your Hangtown lesson for the day!
On a track note for those who have never been. The hill at Hangtown is much steeper then the animated makes it look. It takes some throttle to get up and down. Its a great part of the track and makes for great viewing of everything.
@ endoman38 I heard they were going to yank steel city.An get a national for the southeast.
Nice job, guys..., kinda trippy on 'full screen' though...
But then again we've never had the POV helmet cam shot following Red-Arrow. Ahlgren Graphics always gave us the overhead camera above the stadium angle. Interesting... think I need a sports/energy drink after watching that lap.
Oh hell yeah!! Please do this with all the outdoor tracks!!
