Update from Grant Langston
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 | 10:05 AMDC spoke with Grant Langston earlier today and received this update:
They have found the trailer, and the bikes were chained up, so the important stuff was there, but they will have to rent a truck to get the team to Las Vegas. "We appreciate all of the help from everyone involved in the search; it seems like the whole world knew about it within maybe 24 hours!"

I seem to remember they had a bunch of bikes stolen a year or two ago. They need some attack dogs on site or something.
Of course, especially in CA, if someone broke into someone's business and got bit by a dog, zapped by something etc., they'd probably sue the business and win.
Hope they Got the Bad Guys!!!! You don't take someone's motorcycle. Its like steeling a baby.
Find them and run them over with the truck!!!
I would think that most teams would have a Lo-Jack type system in all there trailers? Thats a whole bunch of money to be losing bikes or no bikes. Glad they got it back.
I think it was J-law trying to get to Las Vegas.
I hate thieves...Glad to see he got all or most of his things back. Grant is a first class guy and does not deserve this crap. Seams to me he got a few of his bikes pinched a few years ago as well.
insurance scam
I could swear that I read an article here quite recently, that said only the tractor was stolen. Anyone else read that?
@Bucky394 I was thinking the same thing so I looked it up, when they reported it they said......
"Although there wasn’t any of the team's race bikes in the rig"
**Update: The team's tractor (pictured below) was stolen, NOT the trailer.**
so this seems a bit weird to me as well :-/
But anyway I like Grant Langston alot as a rider and person so im glad he got his stuff back! :)
It was reported as CRF32Young wrote. Why wouldn't you have lojack? Why wouldn't you write a press release and demand that it be posted AS WRITTEN? ( this way one would know that the information was not written through memory)
There are a bunch of "shady" reportings that go on here...as well as in other areas of the media.
Let's try to start a campaign to write a law which states ( in laymans terms) if you're commiting a crime, speeding included, you have no right to sue anyone, thing, State,or institution.
This seems like common sense to me. BUT INSTEAD WE HAVE TO PASS BILLS LIKE NO TALKING ON YOUR CELL WHILE DRIVING. Albeit a good thing, in some cases, shouldn't the IMPORTANT stuff be taken care of first?
CAN'T wait to see if Bubba lines up next to Dungy in the outdoors!!!!!
Some might say that insinuating someone committed a crime (insurance scam) would be called Slander. Grant is deserving of much better treatment.
@MX Bob, if your referring to my statement, I never pointed the finger at Langston or said he has committed insurance fraud, Just stating I was confused by the different reports......nothing wrong with being confused right? Langston has always been one of my favorite riders on and off the track, hes a good dude! :)
@CRF32Young. No, it was the shorter post I was talking about. I'm in agreement about how ridiculous it is that someone doing or, attempting, a crime seems to have more rights than the victims do.
Damn Langston cant catch a break! Didnt he get some of his championship bikes stolen from the shop a couple years back??
@MX Bob, sorry I just wanted to make sure I wasnt coming across the wrong way, and yeah I totally agree with your last post
