Best sound track to an MX video EVER... the sound of a two stroke...Sure sounds like a 125 to me..
250 without a doubt
This is a 125 :)

unless they found a way to put a 250 pipe on a 125 then this in fact IS a 250. I don't have a sound card in my work computer but I don't need volume just a quick look at the pipe. you guys obviously grew up post 2-stroke.
Most definitely a 250, it's an unmistakable sound.... The bike does sound like kind of a dog though, which it should being 12 years old and all.
As a musician and a rider of 125 two strokes since 1972, I recognized the familiar rattle of a 1/8 liter piston.
The bike that (some) manufacturers, racing series and media members fear....until the 250 two-stroke is included in AMA pro racing....technically Dean Wilson is the AMA 250 four-stroke champion....he's not the 250cc champion...gnomewhatimsayin?
mmmmm. I can almost smell it.
The artist at the start of the video is awesome! Tim McMorris has some amazing songs. The one in this video is "music my life" - two other great songs by McMorris are "lyrical sobriety" and "turn it around". Good video with the music, and without the music :)
Man i miss the sound of a 250 two stroke.
@Dan Rad, you may think you hear the rattle of a 125 piston, you may also think you have six inches in your pants.
You could be mistaken?
Hilarious. No way that is a 125. Look at the pipe...also it doesn't even SOUND like a 125.
LOL. A 125 doesn't lug - it just goes bwaaaaaaa if you try. There are plenty of spots where he is lugging that 250 before dropping the clutch and it's not rolling over dead like a 125 would.
hell yeah ty woz. Matt your doing big things brotha keep it up
Yep, definitely a 250. Not sure why someone would call a bike that's topping out at about 8 grand or so a 125, since they go much higher. A 125 would have been screaming constantly to go that speed.
Thanks for bringing this, excellent work and love the sound, I really miss that.
Why can't we have some 300/350 two strokes out there competing with the 450's? Cheaper, faster, and lighter.
Thanks. I am sweating like a pig and shaking. If I could only smell it I would be in really big trouble
Yep, that's decided: I'm rebuilding my '97 CR250. It's going to be an affordable ton of fun!
... Oh, and thanks!, Nice work!
Great video as always
250
The thumper in the backround sounds like a TURD !! for sure it's 250 two smoker all the way, I ride a KTM150SX and everyone in this life time should try one PURE fun.
Not to be a downer here, but this video is meh.....track is a highway, no bumps and he seems to be going at "A" class speed, not qualify for a national speed.
No disrespect to Wozney's ability on a dirt bike, but have Decotis or someone who has a # and can at least score points.
Sounds like a 250 with a shorty silencer to me. Never really got a good look a the silencer but as a guy that has owned both 2 and 4 strokes for a long time (and still owns both), that would be my guess.
@ SuperFroDaddy - I agree with you about his ability but the track has a lot of jumps that look like they were designed and spaced for 4 strokes and the guy is getting around really well. The guy can ride but not national speed. Would love to see Decotis maul on that thing like he did on that 125 a while back.
THANKS TO THE VIDEO EDITOR FOR LETTING US HEAR THE SOUND OF THE BIKE AND NOT TRYING TO TURN IT INTO A CRUSTY VIDEO!!!!

250 for sure and this guy is haulin the mail !!!!
Thank you for posting this video. Love the sound of the bike without the music in the background. The bike makes better music anyway....
I litterally started crying.
So many great memories!
