Perfect season coming, he is on it, fitness, bike, mental...its all there. Yes RD will be fast but hes had time off plus the bike is still new and no other testing history for that bike unless you want to go by Alessi's settings or Andrew Shorts from past seasons.

Might be tough for a perfect season, especially with JS on a Zuk,,, maybe ...

mxmofo1 scooped me - nice job!

JGR said enough is enough to JS7. Can't be spending that kind of money if your can't stay on your bike. Maybe Suzuki will get a cheap rider....

@localexpert IF stewys wrist is not going to hinder n he leaves jgr, and signs with say umm 22 motorsports, you can kiss that perfect season thought goodbye bud. by the way you forgot to factor him into the scenerio completely, i love how ppl just write him off

A perfect season would be nice.RV is on a roll I just hope Dungey or someone else can take it to him just to make it interesting. Anybody like Wilson to repeat as the lites champ outdoors.

I refuse to distinguish that negative inquiry with an answer, out of respect for RV1...

@donkeypunch, its the same wrist that gets him landing on his head more than half the time, besides I didn't bring up Stewie and I thought he was abandoning the outdoors completely as he usually does.

Shouldn't have a poll like this for any rider

Relax guys, questioning when RV1 won't win a race isn't doing anything other than noting how he's been handing it to the depleted competition lately (no disrespect to JG33). 4 straight SX wins, 9 out of 14 this season, and more confidence than we've seen out of anyone in some time. I'd say 70/30 odds on for the last 3 SX's (looking like 30% chance showers in Seattle on Saturday, you know he's more interested in being healthy at Hangtown than winning out SX); and you have to think that someone (anyone) will get the overall at one of the first 6 Nationals. I wouldn't bet against RV getting another #1 plate this summer but winning the first 6 weekends is a stretch . . . anyway the poll is just for fun since the only thing up in the air until 5/19 is the 250 West title . . .

Yes,yes, I too agree this is a bogus poll!! ..........However as... "WE"... (those of us that have raced at pro and/or even a local level) ... know how difficult it is to have all go just right on a given weekend.

-- Weather (Seattle?, Utah?, Vegas?.....All out doors)
-- Practice crashes, Holeshots issues, Bike breakdown, Flu / sickness, Lap traffic, ect, ect

NOTHING is a given -- and everything is earned in this sport!!!.... and "THAT" my friends is why we love and jones for this sport. I personally start having withdraw issues every Dec. leading up to A1.

For those of you that say ....."I don't even want to watch because I know who's going to win".......you can keep blowing smoke up your own exhaust if you want ,but you're not fooling the rest of us.

Simply watching somebody of Villo's caliber, how he makes it look so easy, is extremely humbling at least for me. This guy's corner speed is just unreal.

Murphy's Law applies to to ALL of us!!!!..... (even RV)

this poll is stupid , that said i highly doubt stewart is showing up for the outdoors right after the press release goes out from JGR he'll anounce that he signed with suzuki but will say " not enough time to get ready for the outdoors" but if he proves me wrong and let's say rides chads bike in the outdoors he will earn some of the respect back that he's lost from me , i believe which bike he chooses depends on if he has any intentions on racing the outdoors

stewart on reeds bike is a longshot because of stewarts ego but reed has already given him the green light via twitter someone asked what the chances of stewart riding his bike in the outdoors he replied "he has my #"

With all due respect to JS7 . . . Reed twating that JS7 has his number is a far cry from JS and CR coming to an agreement that puts JS on CR's Honda for the summer. Not having any idea on what JS has been up to . . . a sane biker would guess that you can't break a 3 year contract with JGR and get another ride set up between winning Daytona and lining up at Hangtown.

jeramey wrote: 10:47pm April 16, 2012

yeah i agree about js7 on 22 but as far as JGR Id have to guess that both parties have realized they made a mistake and are just gonna part ways they arent gonna get their moneys worth or a title out of stewart and they are probably just sick of him by now especially after walking off and leaving his bike on the track

"we've heard from sources that JGR has released James Stewart from his contract. Word is, Stewart may contest the outdoor motocross championship aboard a Suzuki." thats on transworld mx

If CR22 would stop twittering every 2 minutes, JS7 might be able to get him on the phone.

Second thoughts, stop tweeting and pay attention to your hottie wife.

Im sure he will retire soon, complaining of RSI of the fingers!

I'm not going perfect season, but by "race" I'm thinking overalls. I think it is conceivable that he wins every overall this year, but still would be a ridiculous feat. Those thinking JS will be a problem for him though are still living in that delusional dream state of yesteryear. It will be good though to finally see evidence that it isn't the bike. Don't forget, the guy focused on nothing but SX for the past 3 years without a thought of outdoors and look at the results there. Just think how much more quickly those little ruts and holes come at you outdoors and how they sent him on his head time and again in SX. Not to mention, the last time he raced outdoors for a season he had them smoothing the track out for him. It will be sad to see, but I say James doesn't win a moto unless everyone else is in a first turn pileup. I bet he is battling with Alessi a few times over 4th place.

RV may lose in the mud in Seattle. He'll want to win being from Washington, but you never know when it rains. You sure don't want to get hurt when you're just putting in time until the outdoors (that's Townley's job). It's the only thing that keeps him from winning out.

Stewart beat Carmichael. Numerous times when Ricky was in his prime. To say Stewart has no outdoor skills just goes to show people dont remember what a good rider on a good bike can do.

wheres the within 2-3 races of when dungey returns? If dungey comes back for vegas I give RD a 70% chance of winning, he always does well there and has beat RV there several times. If RD returns for the nationals it will be in hangtown or even more likely at Freestone. Just so you don't think I am too much of a fanboy I do think RV is the one to beat outdoors, but I think RD is currently the only one out there to push him. I was hopeing townley would be able to notch it up but it looks like he is hurt again. Hopefully Stewart races he can run the pace too if he is healthy and happy with his ride.

I say he loses when Reed is back on his game after this injury... Why is that not on the poll?
