Well guess I'll go with Underdog Wilson! go get that #1 plate Deano.
It will be interesting to see how they all come back from the time off. ToeJam was unquestionably faster than Deano before the break but I've got a feeling its going to be a good battle when they return.
I'd like to see Dean take it before he moves up.
In referring to 'next week', that will be April 21st. This Saturday, the 14th, will be in Nawlins, therefore an East round.
Ahh,... Doesn't the whole thing get decided in Vegas? (Baby!!)
Yes It will be in Vagas to see who is the champ. As far as I know it is the same as last year? final points for east and west then "winner take all" in the showdown.
then we will see who can handle it all. Will barcia break down again? will Tomac crash out? will Wilson quetly take it all? Or mabe "Big" Blake will pull of the big final.
as we all wait in the suspense, long ,very long drum roll.............................
Suprised so many people think Tomac will win the title I think its at least a 50/50 chance wilson will take this one, all he needs is a 1st and a 3rd and its his, where Tomac needs to win both. Wilson is more expirenced
Wilson looks a good bit bigger than Tomac on their SX lites bikes, his bio says he is 2" taller and 5 lbs heavier than Eli so not really a huge difference in size.
@davidl - there are 75 points up for grabs and DW has a 2 point lead, I think he needs to do a touch better than a 1st and a 3rd. Hopefully it goes down to Vegas as the 250E won't. Whoever doesn't wad themselves in the whoops in the final 45 laps of the season will probably take it. Hopefully CS will tighten up the points in Seattle and Salt Lake so we have a three rider battle in Vegas . . .
No, it's not decided in Vegas. They will decide a 250 champion before they get to Vegas and then it's a Braggin' Rights race in vegas with a shootout of the East Vs the West, just like it's always been. The 450's 2nd place finisher will most likely get decided in Vegas though.
@ Stock - just like it always was . . . what were you doing last year when they changed the way they've always done it . . . check amasupercross.com and go to the current points standings for 250E or 250W, Vegas is listed as a point earning event. After the separate races for 250E and 250W they have the 'just like it always been' E/W shootout for braggin' rights. The more racing the better.
Great riders....I think a lot of people gave it to Tomac already....I think Wilson was struggling for some reason and if he is still , he'll lose . if not he will dominate and win out....should be a good lites outdoor season....may the best man win...
Either way it should be a great battle for the West title!!! Go TOMAC and WILSON!!!
Seely is a dark horse if something should happen.
My bad, I still think its a tossup
GO DEANO!!!!
