Clearly not the same Stewart that raced prior to the Tv Show and wrist injury.
Yea yea, its not the bike the yamahas do work. Its the simple fact that James doesnt mesh well with the yami. He really should get out of that contract he is going to have a career ending injury on that yami. Revisit the other brands...go home to the kawi james
why hasn't racer x put the ARTICLE UP that Ricky Carmichael Raced Again at the LL Qualifier open a

Classy take-out of Regal. This guy is such a POS. Just retire! I'm tired of watching a ton of hype and media about a lawn dart. And I'm also tired of watching other guys get hurt or taken out by the lawn dart!!!
He seems to get a great start but then backs off and everyone gets by him.
He seemed out of control the whole night. He had a lot of close calls just in that race.

Funny the bike works fine for Heat races. So the bike not the factor, something else is wrong.
Lack of Motivation? All those years of Big James doing the motivating for JS, no RC to race, or maybe tired of crashing. Older you get the harder the falls.
Funny comparison - This reminds me of the movie Days of Thunder, after Cole Trickle (played by Tom Cruise) had the major crash, complains of car set-up, crashes a couple of times, complains some more, but then he overcomes his fear and comes back to win Daytona.
@Kx18 go cry to your mom, we don't want to hear it
HAHAHAHAHA
I think Regal had that one coming .....
AMA....Park JS7 before he kills someone. I respect James, but the video shows a danger to other riders. He's outta control 1/2 the time.
That scrub before his pass on Regal was perfect. Listen to the Pulpmx show, Stewarts not the only one banging Regal around at the races..
After further review, getting pushed around like that is a CONFIDENCE issue.
Simple fix - Get off Blue and on a Honda or Zook. Doubt you'll get any support from Kawi
Enough of the "it's the bike" BS. James has signed every contract put in front of him to ride the Yamaha since leaving Kawasaki.
He almost always wins his heat race and has the fastest qualifying times and you Stewpids keep blaming the bike. James was also involved in the R&D of this machine. It's time to quit blaming the bike and Pirelli tires for his main event results.
@Jdubya
James has had the fastest qualifying time once this year and that was at daytona.
kawi and honda will never sign James. and suzuki doesn't have the team or money to do it. He's stuck on blue. We might get one more sx season out of James he will quit after next years supercross season. stamp it.
James makes so much money from Answer, Bell, and all his other sponsors he could ride whatever he wanted to if the Yamaha was what was so "uncomfortable".
Millsaps is having as good of a season as he could ask for on the same equipment. James is also within tenths of a second from the fastest qualifying times. I'm not buying the inferior bike excuse.
all of Bubba's Go Pro videos have the same ending...
No bike excuses allowed.
It works great for heat races, and for Milsaps.
James has a confidence issue and other riders (sharks) can smell blood in the water. Plain and simple.
I will be surprised if he rides another full year. I think he is over this stuff and has lost the heart to compete at this insane level anymore. All fun and arrogant when he was winning, but another damn ginger kid is making life a bit rough for him and he has a confidence problem.
The older you get the more those falls hurt. Ask anyone over 25 years old!
Wow he looked out of control a lot... I feel really bad for James. He seems like he has truly developed a heart of gold but his talent has not progressed with the sport in the past couple of years and it seems like he doesn't know how to handle it. His riding in Houston seemed desperate... kind of hard to watch :(
I hope he figures himself out and comes out strong in outdoors for some epic battles with Poto and Dungey
@jdubya
Ride whatever he wanted? lol no. There is a reason only 2 of the two brands offered him a deal last year, one was last ditch effort from suzuki but James didn't take there deal cause they couldn't put up the coin. fact. JGR put up the coin and had a good bike thats why James went blue, there is nothing wrong with the yamaha. But no other team wants stew to drag there bike through the mud like he has the yamaha. He has said multiple times in interviews and PR's " i'am ending my career on a yamaha".
Not blaming the bike, thinking fresh start.
It's like a kid getting new shoes, one always thinks he/she can run faster, jump higher, remember those days. That was the life.
More like the Yamaha is ending his career.
@persona---My point is he can ride whatever he wants because he has enough money to buy his own bike of choice and set it up. I know for a fact he gets paid more from his outside sponsors than most guys get from the factories.
If he is riding a inferior bike just for the paycheck than he is a complete idiot and I am sure that is not the case. Maybe, just maybe, his time has come and gone. Give the other guys some credit instead of making excuses for Stewarts performance.

He deserved to crash every bit of that
