Just one thing... THAT 125 SOUNDS AWESOME!!!
Every supercross track should have a lap on youtube with a 2-stroke and a go pro..!
Yeah.. and RC looks likes he is having fun out there.. good to see him trying to hang onto RV ;)
RC looked thinner , and ready to race
Truly enjoyed both of those......RC on the Zook.... what more can you say....
So RV is faster than RC. ;-)
I´d be curious to see what RC could do in a race.
The 125 looks really slow. He even doubled at the triple.
Rider seems to do a good job to qualify with the screamer.
Well.. I think most of the 250f's were doubling the triples in practice as well. It was pretty slick looking. That kid deserves a medal for qualifying on a 125. Mad respect. I hope he can do a few more rounds with it in the dry. I bet he could make a main.
Please tell me 25 and 27 were playing..............

The AMA not allowing 144cc -or 269's stinks.....like collusion.

No RC did not look thinner, I saw him at the pits with his gear on, he looked like he was wearing 3 chest protectors underneath his jersey, however once he went out on the track, he showed everyone why he's the GOAT. I would love to see him train a little and come back, he would surely win a lot.
RC please reconsider, forget NASCAR you belong here!!!
By the way, that guy on that 125, was putting a lot of those 250 f's to shame.
Ricky still has it. Not sure why the video ended with RV in sight. Did RC put a pass on RV?
The triple on the front straight, befor the finish line jump, only less than half at that point were jumping the triple. The rythym section before that triple was very sloppy and hard to keep up momentum before that jump, especially on the 125. He did get enough out of it to jump it, but not consistantly. More guys started jumping it as the night went on. The triple in the back section, only a few guys were jumping it at one part of the day/night, but very few.
This was probably the worst conditions to be trying to race a 125 out there, in deep sticky mud. That extra torque is such an advantage. Renner did a good job, the fans there were cheering him on. He ended up blowing up his bike while running 8th in the heat race.
I was disappointed that nothing was said during the broadcast about the 125 qualifying. I thought that was kind of big news, especialy concidering the conditions. I wasnt aware that a 250 had also qualified with the 450's untill they showed the guy (don't know who it was) restarting the bike and Emig commenting on the sound. I sure hope they try again in better conditions.
Always good to see RC out there.....Say, why does he get to ride in the seeded practice????? (only kidding) I am sure if RC lost a few, ok quite a few lbs and made a serious attempt at racing, he could pull a top 5 off pretty easily and build from there....outdoors for sure....
As a 2 stroke 125 rider I think it's awesome that he and Smith qualified, and I agree SPEED dropped the ball w/ even mentioning it, other than talking about how much better 4 strokes are now. Thought it was cool Chad Reed admitted they were pretty much forced to them as well.
Would be nice to see some more relaxed rules for 2 strokes (greater displacement etc) but we all know that probably isn't gonna happen.
It would be cool to have a greater diversity of bikes on the line
2 strokes. Lotsa noise and no go! If a 250 F was rode like that you would'nt be able to keep it on the track. 2 strokes are dead get over it.
dmoney, better to be quiet and thought of as an idiot rather than to open your mouth and erase all doubt. Your comment shows that you have never ridden a 125 two stroke, or probably any two stroke for that matter. You ride them completely differently you moron.
As a guy that owns both 2 and 4 strokes, they are far from dead. KTM is still making them, and you can't hardly find a 2011-2012 YZ250 anywhere even though they are still in production. Same with the 125s. Many of the top woods guys are still using them two strokes as they are lighter, more nimble, easier to start, cheaper to work on etc.....
Did I call you a moron already? If not, let me help you out again...You are a moron.
There. Now let the adults talk.
What a great idea, Ricky did a great job and rode hard...
I think the only way I would ever have the chance to ride a 125 2-stroke is if someone let me throw a leg over their bike... Money's tight and buying new or different toys is gone or dead.
