JT Racing USA Announces Personnel Realignment
Sunday, March 4, 2012 | 12:45 PMFor 2012, JT Racing USA is pleased to announce a strategic realignment of personnel following the resignation of its former CEO last week after the decision to pursue other opportunities. This realignment comes as a result of careful consideration between partners Daniel Sandstedt and Gene Gershman, with the help of newly appointed Chief Operating Officer/VP Sales Darryl Atkins in order to continue to carry out the aggressive plans JT Racing has to become a dominant force in the motorcycle apparel and accessories market. Daniel Sandstedt has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Gene Gershman will remain as Chief Financial Officer for the company.
Following several years of development for its initial collection, JT Racing has carved out a significant position in the marketplace with its dedicated team of employees, executives, the undeniable support of the industry media and an extremely loyal fan base. This position has then been deeply reinforced with the addition of several professional riders contesting in the AMA Monster Energy Supercross series, gaining the important element of exposure both individually and with the MotoConcepts Racing team partnership.
Moving forward, JT Racing will be adding to its Classick collection this summer with an all new lineup of 2013 race wear and casual collections designed to bridge the gap between the past, present and future of JT. Sandstedt states: “We are very excited to enter in to this new phase for JT to further establish ourselves as a leading brand in the motocross industry, adding that he feels a solid 4 th place finish from Mike Alessi at Dallas SX was a sign of things to come both on and off the track for the iconic brand”.
JT’s Chief Operating Officer/VP Sales Darryl Atkins commented: I have been in the industry all my life (both on and off the racetrack) and am thrilled to be such an integral part of JT Racing. We have an amazing team behind us along with a very strong growing global distribution network. With the foundation that has already been established, I’m extremely confident moving JT Racing forward into it’s promising future”.

I have a ton of respect for a company that sends out a press release like this one from JT. Makes a fan and consumer feel appreciated. For JT Racing to keep us informed like this shows their commitment and respect for the motorcycling community. I personally havent liked their gear since the re-launch of their brand, but will follow new and future products and innovations closely. If I like what I see, I will support the company as much as they support their customers. Keep us up to date JT, is is much appreciated. Good luck with your future endevours.
One last thing. Like many in the world today, I have been hammered financially the last two years. Some MX casual gear is offensively priced. Keep that in mind while the overhaul takes place, because $80 for a hooded sweatshirt is insulting.
