Congrats to RD, I said Sat afternoon that in practice he looked the best he ever has on the KTM. RV was faster but I think he made a big mistake going for the pass the first time, He lost a lot of time there and had to run RD down again. He should have tucked in and then made the pass, by the time he ran them down again RD got by CS (who looked great) so that made it harder. Was nice to see JS put a good ride together as well he was right there then the red light came on and he could not tripple and thats all she wrote for his charge cuz that cost him a few sec.
look out the dunge is on fire nothing can stop him ya right
I didn't get to see the race but i'm glad to hear RD was able to win, RV finished where he needed too. Why did take so long for RD to pass CS? I thought RD punted the rookies. Glad to hear no big crashes and JS rode to 3rd smooth and consistant good to see.
Yes hats off to The Locomotive, Dungey stayed steady as always, the track broke down and rewarded the slower to go faster rule, when the Firecracker tried to reallly press he lost traction or got side ways, losing back time. These two and Stewart will still give us a interesting season to watch, miss Reed and his talent, but I think the Gambler is getting ready to go all in, show his hand and go straight to the top of the box next weekend, it may be time to bet on the 7 of Stewart next weekend...that is the great thing about Supercross..you just never know....
Good thing last week frequent poster's dad, who can beat Dungey with a Penton, wasn't entered. Otherwise he would have been second.
I like these local sport team, gear colors. It looked like RV was wearing Falcons colors. One of the Honda guys should go with Cardinals-looking gear in Saint Louis next week.
ANYBODY KNOW WHY GAVIN FAITH WAS NOT IN A HEAT RACE SAT NIGHT ?????????
RD, RV and 7 will makes races interesting. The problem is with only 3 top guys, the point swings will be minimal from week to week.
However, next year you will have RD, RV, Stewart, a healthy Reed, a healthy Canard, Barcia and Wilson all in the 450 class. Seely shows there is big-time talent in the lites classes. All I can say is mayhem!
Every weekend we have to listen Ricky, Jeff, and Ralph talk about what it takes to win and keyes to win the race, the start. Dungey had the keyes to the race and looked good out there. I never thought Villopoto would crack under his own pressure, but the mistakes must have been half off this weekend, because RV had more than his share. Strange that we never saw the mystery crash of his. Great watching the race, if they would get rid of that stupid redneck song at the beginning it would be even better.
@Motox5- he is riding the west coast.
First of all congrats to Dungey for taking his second win. He got a good start and did what he needed to do to keep this championship interesting. Second: this is just observation but in the past few years of SX RV has ALWAYS had a tuff time getting around Brayton quickly. Can't figure that one out. On another note: anybody heard if someone will be hopping out Chad's bike for the remainder of the season?
