Tevin Tapia Joins Team realMotocross

Thursday, February 2, 2012 | 4:05 PM

realMotocross is thrilled to announce Tevin Tapia, a California native, will be joining our team for the 2012 West Coast Lites season! The feeling is mutual, Tevin said, “I’m proud to be a part of something that is giving back to our sport and great people behind it” when asked about his feelings towards joining the team.

Tevin has been riding all his life, growing up on the track as the son Rod Tapia, professional rider who along with Ricky Carmichael inspired Tevin to become a pro rider as well. He got his first bike at age three and as an amateur won 5 championships and national number 70 for the 2011 season.

With favorites like Carmicheal, Stewart and McGrath its no surprise Tevin loves to ride. When we asked him why he loved it Tevin replied, “It's in my blood and the most fun thing I’ve ever done, going fast and just making people amazed when you ride! Throwing whips is a great feeling as well!”

Working with great companies such as Fly WPS, Dragon goggles, Kicker TCX boots, Rockstar Energy, DNA wheels, 3T performance, Enjoy Graphics, Milestone MX and Dr.D Pipes, Tevin will be a great addition to the realMotocross team. Be sure to follow his career and offer him support on his realMotocross page!
